My mind is a canvas
On which my thoughts are constantly painting on

The ugly images, I quickly erase
The pretty ones, I try my best to save

Some paintings are like bad memories,
They take time to fade

But the very beautiful paintings,
I always try to replicate!

You planted a seed in my heart
A seed we both nurtured and
It grew to be a beautiful plant
Bearing precious fruits that
We enjoyed in our everyday life

You came into the home of my heart
Like a pet... So beautiful and so cute
A pet that cuddles my heart
Like every day and every night

The storm of life blew
Our fruit bearing tree fell and
Ripped from its roots
The heart's cute pet is gone astray
Leaving the heart in dismay!

Love is the untainted force of life
Working in a person's life
Ridding all forms of strife
And causes the person to blossom!

My buddy was going through stuff
I said to buddy...
Tell me your darkest fears
I promise you that
I will not reveal your secret
To nobody but God
And he opened up...

I kept my promise
To tell nobody but God
Few weeks later...
Buddy shared with me that fears are gone
He feels reborn
I had joy all over me too!

A wrinkled 10 dollar bill
Is 10 dollars still
And well worth spending

A wrinkled heart
Is still a heart
And well worth breathing and believing

A wrinkled path or life
Is still a life
And well worth living!

You have indeed connected us all together
Even though, interpersonal relationship has never been weaker
The value of a person reduced,
To just being a follower
I hear things like...
The broader your network,
the more popular and relevant you are
Follow me and I'll follow back
Oh, what a dumb formula!
Many true friend-ships have capsized
A person's worth is now measured by social media followers and likes
A number of people are now living 2 lives
Hmmm...What a life
Loss of self-worth and depression is what you've caused
Should I say we've been brainwashed, I don't know
But make sure you like this one, so I can feel better...

Real friends are those who are...

For real (truthful) with us in all situations
Respectful of our personality
Inspire us to live our very best
Expressively show care for us and
Not turn their back when we need them the most
Deliberately watch out for us and
Supportive in every reasonable way.

Every heart craves some love
Especially when the times are tough
And the road is rough,
When going through some stuff

A hug
A call
A talk
Some bucks

The heart drools for some love!

It's my decision to jump for joy
Like a kid that just got a new toy
My drive is not things on the external
Rather, self driven like a Tesla

I know this body is just a container
Housing a spirit being full of powers
And life is more spiritual than physical
I've come to understand that
How and what I see, is all that matters!

The best is yet to come!
The most vital part of the future is now
How do you cross to the other side
When the bridge is gone

Now is the time to solidify
Or build the bridge
That's readiness for that which is to come
Start, before the now is gone!

Let us not wait for turns in doing good
Even if nobody notices, do it regardless
Be the one person to clean up the mess
It's an opportunity to be blessed

It's more convenient to take flight from a scene
Than shed light on the scene
Whatever we do; to flee or assist...is a seed
That soon comes with a reap
Let's do the best we can do
'cause at the end, it's for our own good!

Why can't our society let go of
what a person was
And focus on what the person IS
Or invest in what the person COULD BE

Born with a silver spoon
And ate from a golden plate

Born with a wooden spoon
And ate from a plastic plate

Your upbringing is not the main determinant that you will be great
Of course, it does go a long way
But it doesn't have the final say
Every person still has a price to pay!

Our world is getting better
It would be inaccurate to say that
It's getting worse
Can't you see that

They rate not to give support

And it allows temptations to gush in your mind
If you seclude yourself, it could be tougher to resist the temptation

Some friends, you hit 'em up and they will turn their backs at you
But some will be ready to offer any sort of help and ask you... How do you want it?
That's the type you call unconditional love

At those daunting times, to prevent drowning
You have to keep ya head up
Because better days are approaching
When everything changes for your good

Against all odds, stand strong

Time is a thing,

Maybe it's not the wrong thing done to us

That is really painful

A lie like most other products
Has its own expiry date
Whose lifespan can only be prolonged
Like how you keep food in the freezer
But lies cannot be protected forever
And they stink when eventually revealed!

Water is used to generate electricity
On my palms, it powers nervousness
Or nervousness stimulates the gushing of water from my palms
Better still, I will say it's a bi-directional mechanism

My drawing class was a mess
Every paper ripped before I could draw a thing
You can't imagine the stress
When your palm is another stream

Everyone has love in their heart

in the V-shaped part of the heart
Just as you would shake a bottle of juice before serving
The same way, you would have to stir the heart up very often
To have an homogenous mix of love for the day!

Forgiveness is freedom

Wealthiness is a place that can be reached

The homeless man down the street

The general notion is, he messed up his own life
Maybe, he did not

I think he deserves more than the coins
He sure needs something more
Just crumbs of love from passersby
Just an attention that he also exists!

You have greatness on the inside
You can be what you wanna be
You can storm any weather

Things might not always "look" good
But it would work out for the better
Stay calm and say your prayers

Be wise, open your mind
So that you don't get cheated
Be fair to all, regardless how you're treated

Above all, submit to love and let it dominate
Never associate with hate
Remember, you were born to be great!

We are bombarded with streams of information every minute
The internet injects tons of data into our mind everyday
Those information subconsciously influences our thought patterns
We are a product of what we take in
Information influences your thoughts
Your thoughts influences your actions
Your actions influences your quality of life!

When you smile
You discharge currents
That run through my spine
Flows in my bloodstream
Gladdens my heart
Elates my soul
Lightens my mood
Brightens my day!

Layer(s) beneath an irregular or rough surface
Is a leveled plane
If the rough surface is taken off

Beneath a broken heart
Is a pure spirit
If the surface issues can be taken off

Beneath a tough situation
Is a blessing
If patience and good spirit is applied!

*Usually, there is a bigger picture that is not seen from the surface!

Love is not a pitiful thing
I say, it is a beautiful thing

Love is first an internal thing
Then, an external thing

Love is not a passive thing
I say, it is an active thing

Love is not a destructive thing
I say, it is a productive thing

And love is not just a thing
