we were never meant to be
a fleeting mistake
that lasted some what centuries
migayle ocuaman Nov 2019
saw you sitting alone at your favorite spot in that cafe
watching you smile and daydream the world away
wish i could have found the words i really wanted say
yet here i am at just writing a poem for you that day
migayle ocuaman Jul 2020
i am in pain
yet i have no mouth
but still i must scream
into the darkness of the night
without a howl for help
that is what every man
who knew the end is coming
people ignore the signs i give
for i have no mouth to speak
and if i had none shall hear
or heed my warnings
but i will meet the end
with a smile knowing
the sun shall shine bright again
regardless that if i may see its rays
or not if it passes my grave
that i tried to resist and change the course
to which our destiny lies

I'm so tired but I can't rest nor sleep
Standing' on the edge of something much too deep
It's funny how we feel so much but we cannot utter a word
We scream from within, but we can never be heard
migayle ocuaman Dec 2020
eyes that wonder so deep yet charming
stares into the the nights gentle sky
reflecting back a mysterious yearning
to drift among the infinite scattering light

sound made crystalline
from shattered glass beams
distant thoughts are no sober wine
for living is but a sun burnt dream
migayle ocuaman Mar 2020
can I not be true to myself
without breaking apart
can I genuinely smile
without feeling so empty
why can't I just be normal
like everyone around me
migayle ocuaman May 2020
I can trust you with my life
but I don't know
If I can trust you with my heart
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
as the sun turns to sleeps
the stars scatter the sky
when the heart loves
the night surrenders
give me peace in sleep
for i see you in my dreams
migayle ocuaman Dec 2020
if every blade would undo my sins
i would cut a bit deeper
i would bleed a bit more
till i feel alright for you

for the valiant and those willing
the future shall hold our ideals
we few shall rise to its beckon call
we few shall fall but this vision
shall never die nor shall it be buried

a picture frame made just for two
a portrait hanged yet left to dust
promises made of lies that's true
for even memories that seem to rust
can catch ablaze among dust and ash

Lost in the dark of the night
Where the moon shines not
Into a garden of shadows
Where my soul wanders about
Among the cold misty haze
Rest I may yet waywardly linger
migayle ocuaman Aug 2019
red is your heart
a rose that never age
clear is the water that flows
from my soul that pours to you
to choose such a fair rose
from the garden you grow
I will tend to you as you to me
that this love will blossom forever

she wrote sweet poems
she captures the light of day
and the coldness of the night
as her words waltz to her song
she claims she loves me
but in those script filled sea
she never once mentioned me
for those words once belong to me
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
The morning sun glistens through the white curtains flowing in the wind,
The light smell of the sea being carried on the cool bed of wind that fills up our room
Light, piercing to shine on the ethereal you,
It almost feels like a sin to look at you but I can't help myself
Maybe i'll try again tomorrow
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Would you mind coming with me?
We'll take a walk down the road of my mind.
You can feel what I feel,
Would you be that kind?

I'll take you to a place, Where the beautiful lights dance to the beats of these stars,
And as the waves of love touch our skin,
We'll feel the water curing our scars.

And back our way home, we'll pluck a black rose,
We'll keep it close to our eyes,
As a way for us to remember one day we'll all become memories,
And even the beautiful dies!
Would you come with me?

Fading leaves
Of autumn's bliss
Now enters spring
A new dyed wing
Colors of May
are light as day
Thinking of you
And what shall I do
Maybe it's time
To say goodbye
Or maybe it's time
To stay put for a while
Connected hearts
Doing their parts
Making leaving you
Painfully so hard
So as the wings of May
I'll be here to stay
Waiting for you to be
Till the answer comes to me

what can i say to the beauty that is the morning dawn
the one that lights the sky and chases the night away
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
The mind is a universe,
imagination is infinite.
Its thoughts are diverse,
it has no limit.

The vacant mind is dark,
it can be led astray.
But thoughts can spark,
and show us the way.

Ideas are brightly lit,
they are never sparse.
If I think about it,
my thoughts are stars.

A tired soul
does not know
if it can linger more
never more so can it grow
but drowns ever slowly
to the chasm below
migayle ocuaman Aug 2019
when the time comes
and i start to drift
and my eyes start to close
i will dream about you

The Sakura blooms with life
Everything is dying around it
Sakura wants to change this world with one petal at a time
Spreading this hope out with pride
Don't care if she fail as long as her message is out there
"No more death to this home" it says
Walking forth head held high
Being strong for the world to see her
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
I wipe the corner of my eyes
And smile a little smile
My eyes can tell you that I lie
Please come help me not to say goodbye

Can you see me?
Can you see me now?
Can you help me please?
Please save me now

I don't know, maybe I never knew
I searched for happiness but I never could
They say it's inside me but all I see
Is a drowning void that I cannot flee

Can you see me?
Can you see me now?
Can you help me please?
Please save me now

Across the violet sky,
You will fly.
Far further than any other,
Something new you will discover.

Do not fly to high for your wings will burn,
But because of this, a new lesson you learn.
Yet you do so anyway,
Fading into the light of day.

You fall and fall,
No matter what you hit, you continue to fall.
Your life flashing before your eyes,
Just watching how everyone else dies.

Once you land,
You lift yourself and stand.
Despite how you hurt,
And how your wings are burnt.

You walk across the water,
Why sink? Don’t bother.
You’ve changed, but your still a little naive,
No matter how old you may be.

Now on the other side,
It’s time to say bye.
So you spread your wings and fly,
High across the violet sky.

There was once a little bat,
Shes name was enza,
We open up the windows,
And now in flew enza.

Caught by farmers, this little bat,
Poor enza tried to avoid,
In the caves of china, she was at.

She was but another meal,
Ones that locals always enjoyed,
But she was a plague, a devils reel.

I ask for the patience in the darkest of nights,
The fortitude to brave the darkness,
And a heart that never loses sight of the light.
When my lights finally go out,
I ask that my life be a guiding light,
For men, who like me wander this vile world,
Blind and oblivious of the grace that surrounds,
Of the blessings waiting to be declared,
And regretfully, the pain of an eternity,
Void of your presence.

How music flows throughout the warm zealous air,
Well delivered for every ear,
How grand, how optimistic it spreads for all to hear,
It gives us hope so non shall fall nor fear,

It is the art that all men wish to follow the melody they seek,
It blends all emotions of man too its greatest peak,
All the pain and joy in a harmonious union of peace,
Creating a portrait that fades as it folds to the perfect piece,

the sunset burns through the glass
my tender legs warm in the soft orange glow
my forehead rests on the window
where, from here, do i go?
smiling faking talking pretending
thats all everyone seems to do
why does everyone feel so blue
when they can restart and be new?
its a challenge we have to overcome
let me follow my shadow home
you will never be alone
all skin, blood, flesh and bone.

Marriage is like a television in color,
you never want to go back to black and white...

corruption is an old song we've been singing in harmony
a cancer that grows steadily for the last couple of century
politicians play around making a foolery of democracy
every proclamation and deliberation left a print of legacy
to which our people live in division and poverty
amendments and changes are need to solve this hypocrisy
the young sacrifice themselves for liberty and equality
lets not fallout of virtue and devoid ourselves of honesty
When we challenge those who abuse their duties and authority
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Forward they cried hiding in the safety of the rear
As the men in the front rank die face filled with fear
Now the generals staff who commands as they sat
And see the battle lines change from the field map
Seeing it move side to side as their boys falter and die
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Take my hand and run with me,
Let's just run and never stop.
I can still remember those warm days we spent together
Running, just running into the sun.
Take my hand and we'll go to town
Let's have a treat, and then down at the lake, we'll wet our feet.
I can still remember those warm days we spent together
With no cares in the world.
I will always remember those days we were together,
Together, together
Before you left us all forever...

When freedom collides with happiness
You will feel what you wanted to feel
Safe within a simply special warm home
The feeling of closing your eyes and soar
Through the clear blue heavenly sky
With the soft clouds, glistened by rays
And the birds that sing while you daze
Cold breeze that brushes and passes
Breaking the silence, we awaken in a panic
Ah, the beauty we all are needing and missing

When days feel down and unforgiven
When night falls you are my only escape
I've been waiting for a chance of heaven
Come morning light you'll be my mistake

Something I wanted to genuinely feel
You're more than just a moment of fun
You gave me something surreal yet so real
You're my one dream and not anyone

A sweet soul that dreams alone lingers awake
A sweet white rose a glowing angel in the dark
When you lay alone I feel a painful heavy ache
My fallen earthly angel my own shooting star

Look how they act; look how they do;
like rats in a maze - ant's behind glass...
what would happen if I raised a lens;
and made them burn or tossed around
the turtle on a beach to watch him struggle?

Like watching paint dry on a wall or smell glue;
small talk so inane, insatiable, swirling brass...
What is so desirable in chosen ones;
are the stand-up puns at all so sound?
Or is it just like a hoarcrux to a muggle...

Am I nauseous, little sick or out blue;
the doctor gave up his office last
time I visited for my CAT and was gone!
Good riddance, never liked his taunt:
judging my nature with stamped ogle.

What should I wear? I got no clue;
I got nifty shades of think fast --
After all is wrapped up, Job is done;
his friends are still sour like on a haunt...
Should I stalk some books and gobble...

What would happen if I cut food
from it's source and would not taste.
Letting it rot away to behold like a drone;
how the flies gnaw away... hosting like a gaunt
to add to the deceit with eased gentle...

Raging tropical storms lay true romance to waste
spilled wine seeps and grapes rot on withering vines.
True, chosen few approve of its new bitter taste
even honesty must reluctantly pay heavy fines
nothing more than harsh showers that make us scream
the whispers that ripple and flux from strangers
secret affairs we hold in our rosy charms and schemes
words that we play deceive us that can never be amend

take me away my sweet sun ray
wandering wondrous shining light
sweet morning rise kiss my soul grey
migayle ocuaman Mar 2020
till the warm day falls to orange sunsets
and when mystic cryptic glisten nights rise
you’ve been camping all over my temple mind
till the dawn breaks the skies in a purple dye
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
I drown among the clouds
Dying to see what it shrouds
Deep above and sinking down
Seeing you in such a white gown

Falling like the tears of time
You once sang such melody rhyme
Days when I held you have set me free
This drowning feeling feels surreal to me

You are but another golden dream
Drifting on the heavens cosmic stream
My angel who walks above the cloud snow
You who have made my heart glow
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
He stood eyes transfixed upon the hill,
The world below gave him no mind
As he smiled his last and let his heart melt,
The shadows engulfed his weeping eyes.

The flap of a birds’ wing echoed
In the valley below
Then went silent as the sun
Bid the world good night.

He had once stood there with a smile,
His name was hero but now in death
He’s unremembered, all denied
And the snow flakes that fall
Mark his grave alone.

He who once had a name,
Now his tombstone unknown.

many great noble men we have come to idolize
rush themselves as if they were running out of time
sometimes its hard to put ourselves and even realize
the loss and the hardship when they were in their prime

battles have been fought and duels were made
chivalry a gentleman's standard his honor and pride
everything for a legacy a price too high had been paid
fate has destined that noble men die young as they stride

I swear they can see them quite clear
Over the trenches the same face of fear
you can hear them muffle and whisper
Voices of foes from the other side

You can hear them calling
Marching through field of the dead
They fought till the end
Till they fell with our fallen side by side

if you ask why i don't sleep
it is because its hard to leave
the sweet things of today
and face the fears of tomorrow

Weathered faces left on walls,
portraits hung in empty halls,
nameless strangers that saw
with eyes that watched the world.
migayle ocuaman Jul 2019
Sound out your bugles, charge over the dead,
As the roar of shells flies over our heads,
Deafening cries of boys which became crazed men,
The path of death in front of us is never our friend,
As the cry of victory has surpassed,
After the fog of battle has lifted from the grass,
Men of different armies and ranks,
Lay lifeless near a ****** river bank,
Those who still refuse to die,
Screams and moans are their last cry,
Oh youth who gave your breath of life?
For peace is not a cheap price.
Is our life worth giving for our nation’s honour and pride?
Yet this is no battle, nor glory but a slaughter of lives,
How it all started with dutiful and a gleeful cheer
Now ends with regret, death and fear
sweet wine of youth now spilled upon the soil
cursed are those who live to see the light after such turmoil
no tears are seen from your cold lonely face
To those who lay pale and lifeless within coffins encase
crosses of white erected but without any name
to you a wreath of red roses, less we forget such disastrous  shame.

I write my name in the sand
marking my place in this land
but allowing the ocean tide
to which time shall wash away
