Under a street light
The rain hitting the ground
Splashing on my jeans
And my green coat
It's already 9
We agreed to meet at 5
This night is already over
I decided to head to the bar

Wooden door
Yellow lights
And the air is full of smoke
The bartender already knows me
I've been there too many times
The square glass
One drink on the rocks
The soothing blues melody
It speaks to me somehow

After a few moments of chatting
The green eyed blonde walks in
I almost drop my cup
I cant believe it
She sits down by the bar
Orders a random pink drink
She got the same green coat as me

I finally grow some
And walk up to her
As I do, the song I wrote starts playing
I get the courage
And I say
"Can I have this dance?"
Suddenly we're both dancing
Under that soothing yellow light
We're both dancing right after
Loosing the hope for a good heart
The water flows along the creek
The fish swim upstream
I see some horses running
Birds flying
The nature's healing

Are we getting there this time
I'm getting tired of the walking
The time it took me to get here
Seems not to be worth it

I look at the horizon
The sun is only half down
The day is getting darker
I should be going inside

A random cabin in the woods
Inside there's a old guitar
The walls have a song written
Who even lives here
I'm alone
I'm just another poet
Another artist
Melancholy is my fuel
I need to be at the top
Look at the greatest writter
He died of suicide

Look arround the earth
Look at the past
The greatest ever musician
Killed himself

The best poet on this earth
Never live to see his words
Being displayed at art gallerys
And being read by many

The greatest actor who we saw
Also writting he mastered
He died of suicide
Right after telling the world
They're not alone
What hurt wasn't you leaving
It was the fact that from that moment on
The only thing that kept me alive
Was gone

You sure had your issues
And I was too much at times
But I was always arround
Even after being stabbed

Im just a man
Made of skin and bones
I might cry sometimes
I'm not made of stone

They say man don't cry
But this girl gets on my nerves
Always pretending to love me
But always gone when he's arround
I know a place we can rest
A place far away from the world
Where the piano sound never ends
Where we can be happy

There lives all the animals we cant see
All the geniuses who disappeared
There the music never ends
A smooth melody fills the air
It reaches us all

The piano notes move with the wind
For some it might look like a mess
But to us
It's paradise
When you get near
I feel the rush in my veins
The blood is running fast
Im running out of breath

The world is colorful
The music sounds beautiful
Its all temporary
It'll all be gone soon

You forget time exists
And that it passes by so fast
You think this moment will last forever
Sorry son, its about to end

Your heart is happy
This feeling is so young
Little did you know
It's soon to be one
In the distance I hear
The subtle strumming of a old guitar
It's a old man
Got a long beard
And looks small from a far

As I get close
The music seems loud
The heart starts beating
To the strumming of the guitar

And I sit down
By his side
He sings a song
About his wife
He seems so calm now

He sings about the times
Where he felt a rush on his veins
Everytime he felt her hand
And he almost sheds a tear
When he remembers
That's all in the past
