I want you to know
   that there is nothing impure
nor anything particularly holy
   about you.
That you are human like any other
   and that
This is a good thing
That you are right by this
and you will always remain so.
I want you to know
that someday there will be a hand
        in yours.
And it will be a girls
and your heart will be beating
so fast, your throat tight,
lips trembling ever so tenderly.
       And none of it
    will be out of fear.
Only feeling, only falling
That first loves are possible for you,
and second loves, and thirds.
And what ever cowards tell you,
none of this
will ever be less true.
I want you to know
if you were wrong for such a softness
then I would be that wrongness,
and the pain blazing up in your chest
      but you aren't
     you never were
     and so instead
I am the awe on your face
   when you see her.
Instead I am
    the flicker of hope
when at last,
you let your starving heart
back into your body.
I will be your acceptance,
your shaky breath, your relief.
I want you to know
            love.
Without constraints.
Without compromise.
Without running.
Without ruin.
           love,
the flowering kind
the unshakable kind,
the kind that makes you
         fearless.
       Weightless.
I want you to know love
and when
like the gentlest balm,
love makes its home in you-
I want you to teach it to me to.

I see you in every **** thing. During the day I look at the clouds and it looks like they stole your hair, and at night I look at the stars, the way we use to, they look like your freckles. And the branches aren't part of trees anymore, They became the veins on your arms.
The wind wakes me up at night screaming your name because I mistake it for your voice. You were able to infect nature with your presence and I do not want to ever leave my house again.
