to dream what is wanted but to lose want is gained

To run from the fruits that others want you to eat
To find peace in solitude but only to be followed
A follower people are following to a deeper hole
Only for the follower being brought deeper by others
To see statues staring at you deep within the hole
Only to look past you not even seeing you
Being constricted by others who want power
Causing you to be thrown after it's done

to grow strong one is growing weaker
as one dies one is reborn
as one is lost another is gained
to gain suffering also gains peace

can't cut steel but kills many
causes epidemics but saves lives
used for torture but never breaks bones
makes death happen but not all can use

to be lost in trust of another
Only to forever be blinded
of what is in front of me
and not see what is behind me
but the feeling of betrayal
of knife of envy in my back
for what i have gained now is lost and drained
