silence and darkness
an old friend I know too well
an unwelcomed guest
Epigram
I do not write lyrical poetry anymore
leave that to young hearts not damaged by cynicism,
which is poetry’s biggest enemy; lyrical poem
should be free of realism and have a dreamy quality

In the floodgates
                of forever
                    I see you standing,
                 arms out, so ready
    the multiple layers
of silky delicious
       that we have created
                           until now
     swirling about us,
a storm of veils
beckoning like sea waifs
     and I am opening up
like never before
       my heart practically
                 out of my chest
                               until it is
                       flying forth,
                        a mythical
             winged creature,
prehistoric birdling
and you,
      with  your strong arms
your third eyelight
turned on
              catch it
                          hold it
                   nuzzle it
            until the rest of me
can reach you
   bursting forward
        through swathes
           of time
           turbulence a mere
                            snippet
and we meld
and merge like oceans
     hearts lit up
in electrical surge
time and place not existing
We are the sea.
We are the Earth.
We are the desert velvet
We are the wonder
in the hallways
of our arteries
We are the bloodflow
                 heartflow
of the universe within us
We reign the
ever changing existence
that keeps us whole
allowing room to breathe
to bloom in mystical
                   wild gardens
                yet binding
through realms
of our light's
endless expansion
our souls embracing
as we dream future visions
upon our tongues
and as I gaze upon you
our eyes a magnet
you ignite my glow,
the king of my citadel
festooned with
             flowerbuds
for your
        queen

Wake up Humanity
to the atrocities
done upon our glorious Mother Earth.
Ramrodded we have been
by the powers that be,
who infiltrated all aspects of our lives.
The dark state goes deep,
feeding their greed and agenda.
No excuses will suit
the cause to realign.
Wake up world
we have work to do
to help rebirth Gia
and bring Humanity back to a heaven on Earth.
Krista DelleFemine inspired this poem. Many Thanks. Time world to take responsiblity to bring our reality into the vibration of love compassion and peace.

The missionary wiped the sweat
That formed small beads on his sunburnt brow.
Never had he thought that learning
A language would be so hard till now.

But learning a language and studying a culture
So very different from his own,
Deep in the Amazonian jungle--
A damp and brutal climate zone--

Were challenges that he was eager
Because of his Christian faith to accept,
Even though he had to watch out
For poisonous creatures wherever he stepped.

His goal: to learn the language there
In order to translate the Holy Bible
So he could teach the truth as he knew it
To various peoples, godless and tribal.

His dual role as a servant of God
And graduate student studying linguistics
Opened his mind and heart to embrace
The people's diverse characteristics.

Constant threats were jaguars, insects,
And anacondas in the river,
Along with shifty river pilots
Transporting goods to trade or deliver.

After years of being there
And putting up with a bare subsistence,
He pondered why his ideas among
The people were met with such resistance.

Occurring to him suddenly
As an epiphany, he had to face
The fact that maybe he had been
Peddling his goods in the wrong place.

Why did he need to fix the people?
They were fine just as they were.
If he tried to change their beautiful
Way of life, what would occur?

They had faith in themselves and lived
Without worry, fear, or despair.
He was imposing his own concept
Of truth on them. How unfair!

Questioning his own ideas,
He clarified his own confusion
And saw that life without absolutes
Was one way to see through delusion.

How ironic! He'd gone to Brazil
With good intentions, though smug and prim,
To try to convert the people there;
They, however, converted him.

A hollow space inside me bleeds
And begs me for relief
A shudder through my aching heart
That rarely skips a beat
Then the voices in my head
Cackle, crawl and creep
Waiting for the time to be
To take me in my sleep
Veins still pump and eyes still cry
Though never at my will
Rather death come quietly
And that my heart were still
Quiet me, the hurt inside
Has waged on long enough
Burdened soul of hallowed mind
A spirit born of rust
Shadowed in the waking dawn
The demons take their leave
Resting, waiting, patiently
For my soul to thieve.
