A different stage, a different story
Yet the same effect that poetry has on me
When the pain gets overwhelming
When I can't tell a soul a single thing
I tell through poetry.

You can't expect everyone to understand
And you can't trust everyone
Because they might judge you,
Leave you,
Or tell you things you don't want to hear
Or what you already know
It's what I fear.

Poetry doesn't judge
It doesn't talk
It only listens.

You don't even have to be afraid
To be your vulnerable self
Poetry is your friend.
I'm back after so many years.

i love you like the sun loves the moon—
too far apart
to share the same sky.

you wanted stillness,
a life with roots.
i wanted movement,
a life with wings.

we tried to meet
in the middle,
but love
couldn’t bridge
the distance.

so i let you go,
not because i stopped loving you,
but because staying
meant losing
ourselves.

some love shines forever,
but ours was the kind
that had to end
to set us free.
you were everything I could ever want and more. i was nothing to you.

They tell you, write it with emotion.
Write it like it’s a history you’ve seen -
Describe it in burning colors,
Making a tragedy of things unseen.

But then they criticize you, tell you
It’s too graphic - that there’s no way
That was your personal war.
They’d rather look away,
Than acknowledge that it was your everyday.
After October
I'm so ready to start over.
I'm so glad we found each other
I'd be lying if I said
That our love was never true
I always knew
Every time I looked at you
I would need no proof
Cause' I saw the truth.
Just like the leaves, I knew that we would fall.
The worst part of living in the present
Is remembering something you once had in the past
And knowing you will never find it in the future.
If I could go back, I would search for you.
What would you search for?

For me, the toughest thing would be
To forget the memories of you and me.
In my mind your lovely smile,
Flashes every once in a while.
I wonder, are you still my friend?
Things seem coming close to an end.
I meet many people, cool and new,
But, sorry it's impossible to forget you.

An unforeseen situation has finally came to an end,

A flicker of light now guides me again.

The path, once unknown, now stretches ahead,

Leading me forward from where dreams had end.

The future I dreamed is now here in my sight,

A vision fulfilled, a shining new light.

I welcome it gladly, my heart open wide,

For this is the moment I’ve longed from inside

When life gives rain,
The clouds they form.
The sun it hides
Through bangs of storm.

The ground is wet,
As your steps are small.
But what will happen
If you let yourself fall?

Oh yes it hurts,
You feel it for days.
But your wounds they heal
As the pain it fades.

And remember the rain?
That once poured high.
Now look outside

At the sun in the sky.
This poem is based on having faith and hope through rough times in life <3

Beautiful/Ugly

Nothing is ugly
Like nothing is beautiful

These are mere ideas
Just concepts really
Opinions

So when we could easily be
A beautiful concept
We choose to use the word
"Ugly"

Both are wrong
Both are right

You decide
Which one you call yourself
In the mirror tonight
Just today I heard a girl looking in the mirror in the bathroom and calling herself ugly and a few minutes later girls called her pretty. She didn't know. And honestly, both are wrong, and both are right.
