I remember you
from your beautiful smile
your cinnamon scented hair
your contagious laughter
your nail-biting addiction
your pointless insecurities
to our silly inside jokes
our dumb little fights
our peculiar bets
our goofy text messages

through tears and smiles
you were the only one who understood
my unspoken words
my concealed pain
my unexpressed happiness
my puzzled feelings

counting your days
we recalled our mischievous memories
when we danced in the rain
when we rang doorbells and ran away
when we pranked the gullible ones
when we stole Ikea pencils
when we fangirled over stunning guys
when we were together
everything turn into excitements
moments with you
I remember them all, Grace

it was a week before December twenty-fifth
when the monstrous cells stopped your heart
a glimpse of smile
appeared upon your face
as you're being taken
far away from us
skin turned pale
body stiffened
tears flooded my sight
there were wailing across the room

time flies like a bullet train without you
it's a rainy day today
you've always loved rainy days
sinking my knees in the dew-wet grass
raindrops whisper in my ears
as I brush off the gray snow from your stone
I still remember you, Grace
I still do

"don't worry about it, it's the professor's fault. she's a ******."
I dreamed that, as I wandered by the way,
Bare Winter suddenly was changed to Spring,
And gentle odours led my steps astray,
Mixed with a sound of waters murmuring
Along a shelving bank of turf, which lay
Under a copse, and hardly dared to fling
Its green arms round the ***** of the stream,
But kissed it and then fled, as thou mightest in dream.

There grew pied wind-flowers and violets,
Daisies, those pearled Arcturi of the earth,
The constellated flower that never sets;
Faint oxlips; tender bluebells, at whose birth
The sod scarce heaved; and that tall flower that wets—
Like a child, half in tenderness and mirth—
Its mother’s face with Heaven’s collected tears,
When the low wind, its playmate’s voice, it hears.

And in the warm hedge grew lush eglantine,
Green cowbind and the moonlight-coloured may,
And cherry-blossoms, and white cups, whose wine
Was the bright dew, yet drained not by the day;
And wild roses, and ivy serpentine,
With its dark buds and leaves, wandering astray;
And flowers azure, black, and streaked with gold,
Fairer than any wakened eyes behold.

And nearer to the river’s trembling edge
There grew broad flag-flowers, purple pranked with white,
And starry river buds among the sedge,
And floating water-lilies, broad and bright,
Which lit the oak that overhung the hedge
With moonlight beams of their own watery light;
And bulrushes, and reeds of such deep green
As soothed the dazzled eye with sober sheen.

Methought that of these visionary flowers
I made a nosegay, bound in such a way
That the same hues, which in their natural bowers
Were mingled or opposed, the like array
Kept these imprisoned children of the Hours
Within my hand,—and then, elate and gay,
I hastened to the spot whence I had come,
That I might there present it!—Oh! to whom?

I lay with two women.

In an Economy seat,
emblematic nowadays of
the global economy,
"value" disguised as
a shrunken package size,
for which the cost thereof
can hardly be described as
economical.

my extremities are engaged in
extreme sport,
my competition,
my aisle mates,
young ladies both.

In recognition of the
early hour of our departure,
I have been awarded by them,
a singular honor,
a distinguished cross, of sorts,
pinned with a medal,
for gallantry under siege,
the medal is not of
two crisscrossed rifles,
but crisscrossed elbows,
for gallantry
upon the cross
of the middle seat.

Blanketed and hooded,
or should I say "hoodied,"
slumber comes too easily to
my young traveling cellmates,
as does the
flexibility of the body.

They seem to revel in the words,
akimbo and limbo,
upon my adjacent
body parts.

My sides, my shoulders,
my haunches and paunches,
punched, pillowed and pilloried,
summarily donated
(with a consent slip
called an airline ticket),
to scientific research:
"In Furtherance of the Study of
Sleeping on Airplanes."

My lap, however, sacrosanct,
how else could I type,
of heartfelt matters,
read on,
for you have been both
punked and pranked!

My mind freely wanders
while body is
captive and captivated,
(did I mention they were
young and attractive?)
to the manner
in which we
juggle proximity.

My darling:
You lie beside me,
a distance of
but a few inches,
but closer still,
for I am inside you,
I am yours
for your flesh,
I take,
a blood vow,
sealed with divine blessings
of mine own composition.

For the children of my children:
You are crosstown,
but I hardly know ya,
I am of your flesh, your blood,
eternal and immutable,
no poem can be allowed
to reveal what I owe you,
secret debts unpayable
till and after
death us do part.

Proximity in my tears,
proximity in my fears
for all of us,
for thoughts of you,
come regular,
with every breath.

Proximity at the cellular level,
until that day your
words first emerge,
your are of me and my issue,
mine to behold,
mine with which to dream,
mind to mind and mine.

So now there are two,
where speech is not
a viable tool.
Know that when
I no longer compose,
I will still eternal communicate
in ways, beyond belief.

You:
So many we touch, so briefly,
lose and fade from daily sight,
yet, forever, treasured,
measure for measured,
each one of you,
parcel posted upon who I am,
the tick in the tock
of my beating heart's
final prayer,
Grace after the Meal of Life.

At my funeral
please inform the rent-a-rabbi,
that I was this and that,
labels to write on post-its,
to be stuck on my gravestone
that no one will come visit,
but please someone,
tell him to say these words:

Between,
there was no between,
there was
no approximation,
no proximity,
there was no scientific instrument extant,
that could measure
the close love,
the heart and home
in which his faith resided,
for those who touched his life.

He's accosted Kim Kardashian, Brad Pritt and Ciara, but red carpet prankster Vitalii Sediuk tried his luck with a much fiercer face on Tuesday.

The Ukrainian journalist approached US Vogue editor, Anna Wintour, outside the Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week.

Wearing a black headdress and glittery sequinned glove, Vitalli broke through the security barriers and ran up to the notoriously icy journalist as she exited the show.

With a microphone in his hand, Vitalli could be seen attempting to get her attention - but nonchalant Anna kept her cool and dismissed the prankster, striding straight past him.

Anna's security stepped in immediately and removed the prankster, who made a peace sign with his hand.

Anna is by no means the first star that Vitalli has pranked.

He famously targetted Kim Kardashian in September last year in the huge crowd that gathered around Kim and her husband Kanye's car as they arrived at the Balmain show at Paris Fashion Week, in which her sister Kendall Jenner was walking.

In bizarre scenes, Vitalii - the prankster who accosted Brad Pitt at the Maleficent premiere in Los Angeles earlier last year - was reported to have pulled Kim's hair [which he denies] and almost knocked the then 33-year-old starlet to the ground, in front of Kanye and her mother Kris Jenner.

Security quickly jumped in and escorted a shocked Kim into the building.

This was just one of the many times the former journalist has had run-ins with celebrities including America Ferrera, Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lopez.

Brad Pitt recently spoke out about the infamous run in with the now-notorious Sediuk at the Malificent premiere in Hollywood in late May.

The movie hunk said he was forced to defend himself after the Ukrainian television personality tried to 'bury his face in my crotch.'

Brad said he was having a great time mingling with fans on the red carpet, but things soon turned nasty when Sediuk sparked a melee that left the heartthrob with broken sunglasses.

He told People: 'I was at the end of the line signing autographs, when out the corner of my eye I saw someone stage-diving over the barrier at me.

'I took a step back; this guy had latched onto my lapels. I looked down and the ****** was trying to bury his face in my crotch, so I cracked him twice in the back of the head – not too hard – but enough to get his attention, because he did let go.

'I think he was then just grabbing for a hand hold because the guys were on him, and he reached up and caught my glasses.'

The Moneyball star said he likes people to have fun, but argued Sediuk's antics could end up spoiling glamorous Hollywood events for everyone else.

He said: 'I don’t mind an exhibitionist but if this guy keeps it up he’s going to spoil it for the fans who have waited up all night for an autograph or a selfie, because it will make people more wary to approach a crowd. And he should know, if he tries to look up a woman’s dress again, he’s going to get stomped.'

Sediuk was sentenced to 30 days in jail after attacking Brad at the Los Angeles premiere of Maleficent.

He was already on probation for jumping on stage with Jennifer Lopez when he jumped over a crowd barrier at the opening of Angelina Jolie's new film Maleficient and struck Brad

He was charged with assault, battery, unlawful activity at an exhibition and delay of an exhibition, received the jail sentence plus 20 days community labor, 36 months probation and a $220 fine.

Cold and gloomy is the night,
not a single star in sight,
Even a haze is about the moon.
Surely something horrible will happen soon.
The radio has static,
I change the station.
Wait! What is that I hear?
Please let it be my imagination,
Justin Timberlake and Justin Bieber
in concert together.
Surely the end is near,
feel the world tremble in fear.
Wait! What is that I hear?
There has been a mistake,
you have been pranked.

parched baren fields hug
scorched dusty village of penury landscape
straddled between supposed national road
ramshackle mud hut stands detached
equally dilapidated huts fragment

crude rusty door squeakily opened
old grandma come forth
stooped the posture
wobbled the walk
rain deprived tree the refuge against sweltering heat

wind haul loose plastic bags around with wild abandon
empty bowl enticingly rolled
past hungry animated crawling toddler
ushering object illusionary windfall apparently

sunken vague eyes locked,
in tandem with fragile limbs
hot on the heels of Dancing bowl

hand too feeble to swath pestering flies outstretched
prospect of a meal within reach
skiny invigorated arm overreaches

course of trajectory swayed
container swerved off course
inverts then flipped
tiny hands trips progress!
"you have won the hunger race"
   "welcome to the starting point"
    congratulatory cheers!
    the world applauded!

fingers investigatively scratched alluring fruity decor surface
pleasing patterns presented in empty bowl
by deceptive sight seeking vindication
from the high court of flabby tongue
hosting unwavering snitch of a taste bud negating beguilement of sadistic bowl
flower not a food was the verdict

fling of frustration ensued as
speechless toddler hurl empty vowels
thrashing rage pulverised the bowl
against the hard earth by emaciated arm
soliciting the attention of a heedless grandma
unflinched by familiar outburst unworthy of consoling response

light at the end of tunnel
when familiar figure heave in sight
dust sprayed face of a sisterly love expressed foreign smile

baby hastily locomotes towards receptive
soothing lullaby
cuddlle with sibling's affection
rhyming lung of a learner sister reads
the lyrics of the day

" pad meet rag equals
  foreign meet local
  like souvenirs for a vote
  when representative of women
  presents sanitary pads today

bloodless girls plenty in the land
where babies refuse to sleep and
watch the world orbit around

where empty bowl prank a child
who blames the bowl
that blame the ***
that blame grainless granaries
the opulence of the governor's office
where fragrance swirls ends
the lullaby of blame game
and the the prank of the dancing bowl"

Us three little kids run amok through the nights
creating our own mischief and creating our own frights.
We sneak up concrete steps that lead to wooden doors
and ring the bells right next to them and run away on all fours
Who? You ask, that we ding-**** ditch,
we've pranked humans, monsters, and once even a witch.
We once rang the door during the day of some creeper
and nearly had a meeting with the grim reaper.
But that did not stop our tricky ways
so we ding-**** ditch death, always.
For we're not the children of daylight
we are the children of the night
© Tatiana
I know it's not Halloween, but this is a very Halloween-like poem and the concept of ding-****-ditching death is one of those ideas that just can't leave your head until you write it in.

Uhm
Last week, you saw the sun bleed itself on the empty sky and give rise to a million stars. And you thought of her. Absent mindedly, you touched your wedding ring loosely wrapped around your finger. You sipped your coffee and wondered what was it that made the sun and moon rise and set? You envied how oblivious they remained to the suffering of this world. A couple of more sips led you to think how your life has pretty much been like them too, spinning uncontrollably, not listening to your suggestions or demands. Till you found her. And suddenly your universe had a focal. Last few months had been tough.
It has been like two ghosts living in a house, unaware of each others presence. You missed her, you wanted to hug her, and hold her till she found her way back to you.
But every time you tried to talk to her, she would break down and then fade off. It was like there was an invisible wall growing in between you two and you did not know how to cross it. Not without her opening the door and letting you in.
It has been 4 months since the test came positive. The doctor said it was the last stage of cancer. And that they were sorry. They had been having a fight over room renovation when they got the call. They were to visit the doctor asap.
Elisabeth could not believe it. It would be easier to take it in had Michael not gone numb. At first, he thought it was a joke. A cruel one. But after half an hour of arguing and no camera person coming to tell them "you have been pranked" he had to give in.
The drive to home was quiet. Neither knew what to say. Unlike the movie scenes, there were no emotional dialogues or crying. There was just a quiet all over the place.
Since neither of them felt like  eating, they went to bed.
Elisabeth had her back turned to Michael, but after a hour two, she was clutching to Michael for the life of her, sobbing madly.
And seeing her cry made him break down as well. He had never cried in all his adult life. And together they sobbed. That night was the last conversation they had. Elisabeth asked Michael to move on. But this act of bravery could not last for long and in between her muffled sobs, she asked to save her, he said he did not know how. And she had looked up in his eyes and said never forget me. And with her head on his chest, her consciousness had finally drifted to faroff place. She would occasionally mutter something in her sleep and shiver and hold on to him closer. He was her safe haven and he knew it. He wished he could save her, but he did not know how to.

The qualms of morning seemed so silly now. It is so tragic how we let the little things take away from us the greater moments. We think we have enough time. And that is the thing, we never know that the kiss we had would be our last.
So i m writing this to let you know there is nothing you would regret more than not being able to show your love while you still had the chance to.
Let your partner know you love her, take her on a long drive, send her unexpected flowers. Smile at strangers. Listen to your grandparents. And send love letters to your parents
While you still have the chance to do it. I don't.

And now that I think about it, I regret how I let those little things take away from me, the happiness I could have given her and the memories with whom I'll have to live my life

MARÍA DE ESTRADA
Freeze, *****! It’s your mistress bids you halt.
Let’s see what trulls the latest nets have trawled.
Not bad, sad slave. You’ll fit your new career:
A teenage tartlet to refresh their tents.
Don Alvarado keeps a natty ring
Pranked up with goads, whose stingers top its face,
To spur reluctant steeds through rocky rides.
            You’ll buckle underneath such battery.
I hope your yelps won’t stir my husband’s sleep.
María de Estrada, at your service, serf.
I reign sole victrix of this manly camp,
For I’m not fit to mince and kiss my hand,
Like all those gingerbread girls back in Spain.
No, Cuba was a rowdy, lax frontier
Where I was raised to tussle with the boys,
And now stand champion in these warlike ranks-
For boundaries built up by prejudice
            Are not reformed by mediocrities.
Once I have overmatched your Amazons,
I’ll force those tomboy squaws to nurse my brats-
If but a single, over-muscled pap
Can fortify the husky chaps I’ll breed.

Enter GARRIDO with baggage, and passes over the stage.

Look to your maidhood, miss, or be dismayed.
[to Garrido]
Hold, boy! You’ve got my bag of needments there.     Exit.

MALINALLI
What gibberish! So much chin-music to me,
But something of her drift I comprehend.
I must assert my merit here. But how?
My ***? A trump card every girl here holds.
But what my prodigy at languages?
I’ll trail their chieftain, and my gift of tongues
Shall lift his veil unto this ****** world.                          *Exit.
From my play in verse, thefloralwar.com
Every moment I blink,
I recall those lifeless limbs
That is when, I play those old films,
And laugh at how much I was slim.
And dressed like a crazy chimp
Then she'd come to prank me from behind
And I'd cry like an old baby grind.

Now, a smile stretches out and evaporates
As I wish for it to happen again
To live that life again
And, to get pranked once again.

But now,
Every moment I blink,
I recall myself clinging to those lifeless limbs,
Wishing for those to move
And take me to a weekend *****..
I can hear her cough and sing
But she never cares to leave a trace behind
Probably, another game of hunt, Miss Pride

I need you to speak,
And call me a wimp
I promise, I won't mind
Just move those lifeless limbs, lethargic Miss Pride...
