Today’s Christian’s
Would have hated,
Jesus.
If Jesus,
Were on earth,
Today,
And He,
Exchanged Words,
And He,
Exchanged Truth,
With the Christians,
About their beliefs
And their way
Of living.
How hypocritical,
A lot of them are.
How deceptive
Or unwilling,
To stand,
For the truth, you are.
You hate justice
And love injustice.
Call empathy witchcraft,
Even though your God,
Hung,
On a cross,
As a show of justice.
Emptied Himself,
A show of empathy.
Full of compassion.
A show of empathy.
Not because He condoned sin,
But simply,
Because He loved you.
But of course,
For God,
To love,
What was once dust.
And that,
Which would bite dust,
And turn to dust,
To the point of death.
His death.
For your life.
New age?
But then I rage.
Jesus.
I said, "JESUS!"
Is He your God?
Would you see the Truth,
If He stood before you?
Word?
But maybe,
He would hate your word,
Because you hate His,
Word.
Your word glorified,
Death.
While He brings,
Forth life.
Said death is necessary,
A necessary good.
A sacrifice.
For some steel,
And amendments.
Bodies of babies,
Catching steel,
And brights.
Taking that.
Oh baby!
A sacrifice.
For your rights.
So delight.
I pray,
You would,
Amend that.
Don’t say that.
Oh baby!
Take it back.
For death steals.
Baby Jesus,
You would know.
Words matter.
That’s why,
Christ,
Matters.
Words,
Bring forth,
Life,
And forth,
Death.
But you would’ve seen,
My womb,
And bite me,
With your words.
Say I have no brain power,
To articulate.
I cradle 'Moronic'
So quiet I must be.
Like a church mouse.
Silence.
My fate.
Words matter.
That’s why
Christ,
Became matter.
God brought forth life,
And the bite,
Brought forth,
Death.
But you would see,
My dark skin.
Bite me,
With your words.
A forking tongue.
Preaching Jesus.
Preaching:
The blacks are evil.
What a sermon.
An omen.
A man.
Amen.
You’d say,
They need to regulate,
My human value,
More than yours.
That my darkness,
Equated violence.
I’m a worse sinner.
More than you.
A lesser being.
Subhuman.
Not human.
Oh debate.
Nominate,
Abominate,
Calculate,
My segregation.
Put me back in chains.
Approximate,
Acculturate,
Accelerate,
Contortionate,
My nation.
Strip me of rights.
Bait me.
Even if,
The Lord,
Was in my soul.
You would,
Only see evil.
Black skin evil.
Jesus saved me too.
We’re brethren.
No kin.
Just sin.
But words matter.
That’s why,
Christ Truth,
Was the matter.
But words you manipulate,
Change stats.
Judicate.
Propagate.
Instigate.
Hate.
Close the gates.
Reflect and deliberate.
Did the King of Glory,
Not leave His glory,
Leave Heaven,
For rags,
Not riches.
Was that not compassion?
Did He not paint the sky;
In a mirage of colours?
A promise,
A redemption song,
A token of love.
Did He not turn death,
On Himself,
A show of empathy?
Mercy.
Evil?
But, Jesus.
He counted Himself,
Among the least of these.
Gave up His robes;
And garments
To cover the wounded,
And the ratchet.
But, Jesus.
Today's Christians.
Would have told Jesus,
To go to hell.
Would have nailed Him,
A liar.
Would have cancelled Him.
The Jesus of the bible,
Wouldn't have,
Fitted in Christian circles.
Or even get,
An invitation to Church.
Or for supper.
He would have,
Been counted the least,
Of these.
Some would have,
Looked down ,
On Him,
For being a carpenter.
The color of His skin,
Would have irked you.
He wouldn't have been,
White enough.
Not right enough.
Subhuman.
Not human.
A Greater being.
The Truth,
That would've come out of,
His mouth,
Would have pierced you.
The blade of His Word,
His caution,
His blazing eyes,
A wisdom.
Hardened your hearts.
Closed your eyes and ears.
If today's Christians,
Met the Jesus of the Bible,
The One,
Who walked with,
And led the 12.
The One,
Who cast demons,
Out with authority.
The Healer,
The Wonderful One.
The Prince of Peace.
King of kings and Lord of lords.
The Christians,
Would have hated Him,
Like the Pharisees did.
Would have called Him satan.
Because you heard the devil,
Quoting scripture?
Then evil must be good,
Good is evil?
You would've delivered
The Lord.
You would've petitioned
His crucifixion.
And if you had the opportunity,
To choose Between Him,
And the leaders
You love,
So much,
You’d deliver Him to the serpent.
You love your masters.
Your masters and idols.
Your faith is idle.
Your masters who lie.
Manipulate.
Violate.
Subjugate.
Spewing hate.
Flirting with darkness.
How seductive.
Masked as angels of light.
How Addictive.
Saint.
Please deliver,
Jesus!
Taint.
For 30 pieces.
You would have chosen the lord of Flies.
You would have spat on His face,
Punched His mouth,
Pulled His beard,
Whipped His back,
And His front.
Cursed His Name.
Shouted in the crowd,
"Save our Master, Crucify Jesus!"
"Crucify Him!"
"Crucify Him!"
"Crucify Him!"
The Jeers.
The Sneers.
Today's Christians.
Would have hated,
Jesus.
Inspired by modern-day Christianity. Christian hypocrisy. How some Christians will defend people who do or speak evil as long as that person quotes scripture.
