To the cancer in her body
Her ashes spread in the sea
Resting where she loved

The water too deep for her
Stuffed animals on the alter
Two years wasn’t enough

He was lost last week
When he fell too far
Only eighteen years
Sister said “see you soon”

Her heart beat blocked
A daughter, a sister, a niece

I’m tired of people dying

my mind has become a burning city
there’s no escape
the smoke is taking over
whispering lies
filling my mind with all these dreadful memories
not even the firefighters can extinguish it now
overwhelmed by all the trauma in my life
all i can do is hide
someone come and save me from this wildfire
that wants to take my life

My therapist told me
Exercise would make me happy
So why are there tears in my eyes
As I run away from my problems

Breathe,
Look at the sky,
Feel the dust settle,
Feel the wind between your fingerprints.
Life hurts,
But I'd never give up this earth,
When right now,
It is turning for me.

He’s a creature of habit,
He has morals and goals,
He strives to be better,
He makes this girl whole,

He gives to the takers,
He never says no,
He’s the sweetest and kindest,
He makes my heart glow,

He makes love so manly,
But tender and soft,
He outdoes all others,
To me he’s the boss,

He’s mine and i love it,
He means me no harm,
He works hard to please me,
He’s like my right arm,

This man in my life,
Is the best in the world,
I’m eternally grateful he chose me as his girl......
