dogs are very loving and there love is true
each and everyday they give there love to you
always very faithful till the very end
for there whole through they are your best friend

when your feeling down they are always there
to give your there affectiion and there loving care
best friend in the world they will always be
with a love thats real and forever free

i saw to little doves kissing in a tree
cuddled up together as happy a can be
then they sang a love song  with a lovely melody
high up in the branches singing it me

it took my heart away as they began croon
in perfect harmony every note in tune
when they finished singing into the sky they flew
high up in the air  into the sky so blue

as were getting old and we begin to age
our life begins to change at each and every stage
things we used to do in our younger day
the energy we had has now gone away

we begin to slow as life moves a long
gone now are the days when we were young and strong
we still have the memories of of how it used to be
of our younger days when we were wild and free

if you make someone smile it can make there day
if only for a while take there blues away
takes away the sad face takes away the frown
makes them smile again stops them feeling down

brings a little happiness if only for a while
takes  away the sadness. makes them wear a smile
so bring a smile to someone when there feeling down
make them smile again take away there frown

there was a lonely mouse he moved in with me
somewhere he could live with some company
he lived in the corner in his little hole
happy and content  and such a friendly soul.

i gave him bits of cheese he could nibble on
he would chew away till all the cheese had gone
such a lovely chap he had a friend in me
somewhere he could live and had company

when go to heaven the angels we will see
with loved ones we have lost once again will be
flying side by side in heaven up above
up there with angels in there land of love

with a life thats free no sorrow or no pain
united with our loved one together once again
sharing all the love that we always knew
flying side by side in the sky so blue

goldie was a labrador she was very kind
she longed to be a guide dog so she could help the blind
went to training school  goldie did her best
she was very clever and past every test

now she could help the blind be there guiding light
help them cross the road when the time was right
stopping at the lights till they went to red
knowing it was safe for her to go ahead

guide them round the store on there shopping day
take them down the aisle guide them on there way
all she ever wanted was just help the blind
when she was just a pup  thats all she had in mind

now she is a guide dog just like she longed to do
all she ever wanted to make her dreams come true

we  talked online for hours but never got to meet
eye to eye together with a cuddle greet
talked about each other in a friendly way
things we like to do passing on the day  

meetings never happened suppose they never will
maybe it was meant to be just an online thrill
i will keep on chatting to passing time away
maybe get the chance to meet someone someday

someone who is real and not a chatline tease

i love to watch the moon on a moonlit night
shining in the sky shining oh so bright
it always seems romantic looking up above
the beauty of the night seems so full of love

surrounded by the stars that twinkle in the sky
with clouds so very clear gently floating bye
a little peace of heaven so calm and very still
the beauty of the night gives me such a thrill

words can  say so much if you want them to
which words that you use that is up to you
choose them from the heart let your feelings show
then what you want say everyone will know

it is quite amazing just what words can say
sometimes to write them down is the easy way
words they have the power to get the message through
they are  there for everyone every me and you

if the world could live as one.  how happy it would be
living altogether every you and me
just a world of kindess in each and every race
without discrimination each other we could face

no violence any more just a world of peace
stabbings and the shootings would for ever cease
we could love each other hatred would be gone
just a world of love where we could live as one

i saw an angel singing while i was in my sleep
such a lovely song it all most made me weep

with a voice so pure came a lovely melody
the voice of an angel was singing just for me

when she finished singing she waved and said goodbye
then flew off to her heaven high up in the sky

soon it will be Easter not to long to go
lots of happy children with there hearts a glow
lots of Easter eggs the children love to eat
part they like the best for there Easter treat

lots of Easter chicks that children love to see
running all around  happy as can be
a lovely time of year filled with so much joy
with lots of happiness for every girl and boy

we wake up in the morning to face another day
never knowing what it will bring our way
we have to wait and see what it has in store
will it be any different than the day before

as the day does gone on it will let us know
so we carry on just go with the flow
face what ever comes as you go along
just go with the flow stand up and be strong

spring it is a season that always brings a smile
a little happiness if only for a while
flowers with there blooms putting on there show
all the many colors that give life a glow

birds they sing again. bringing in the dawn
singing loud and clear in the early morn
mother natures children singing just for you
all in perfect harmony in the morning dew

i saw a kestrel bird he went to church each day
ive never seen a kestrel that behaved this way
carrying his bible underneath his wing
to see him doing that  was such a funny thing

walking down the isle to sit there in his pew
lots of people there.  there were quite a few
when the sermon finished the kestrel flew away
the i realised he was a bird of prey

when the sun is out and it begins to shine
makes you want to smile now the weathers fine
takes away the gloom clouds have past on by
sun is shining bright in a bright blue sky

brings a happy feeling if only for a while
takes away the sad face now it has a smile
warms the heart inside makes the world feel bright
on such a lovely day that fills you with delight

i have my little friend she means the world to me
without my little friend i will never be
angel is her name she is always there
and i love so i take her everywhere

she is my best friend loyal and so true
if she wasnt there dont know what i would do
shes my everything gives my heart a glow
all the world to me and i love her so

best friend in the world there will always be
my angel and my rock she belongs to me
i wouldnt be with out her shes my everything
a friendship for a lifetime she will always bring

A POEM FOR A SPECIAL FRIEND

if you like somebody tell them that you do
then in there return they can tell you to
show them your respect let them see you care
if your ever needed you are always there

they will know your real put there trust in you
tell them that you like them is all you have to do
then which way it goes both of you will see
that  you really like them and are meant to be

if your world is happy then it belongs to you
it will do the things that you want it to
makes your life worth living each and every day
if you respect your life it will go your way

everything you wish for is waiting there you
you can make them happen make them all come true
then your happy world will be happy everyday
happy ever after you will always stay

wouldnt it be nice to live a life thats free
living all as one in perfect harmony
no more wars to fight all of that would cease
no race discrimination just a world of peace

no shooting  no more stabbing would there ever be
just a world of love for every you and me
it would be so nice if it could be this way
we could live as one every single day

i walked along the meadow in the early morn

no living in the darkness in my mind within

nature is a lovely thing with so much to see
the beauty that it brings warms the heart in me
lots and lots of flowers  growing wild and free
butterflies and ladybirds and the bumble bee

birds up in the trees sing there morning song
welcoming the morn as they sing along
mother natures children that make the world go round
everywhere you go its miracle can be found

moods they have there changes they can come and go
what mood your mind is in you just never know
somedays they are good somedays they are bad
sometimes they are happy sometimes they are sad

you can never tell what your mood will bring
never ever know which way your mood will swing
take them as they come take them day by day
take it in your stride what ever comes your way

i walked in the garden the sun was shining bright
the flowers they were blooming soaking up the light
showing of there colors standing oh so proud
bunching close together standing in a crowd

bumblebees were busy having lots of fun
soaking up the pollen underneath the sun
butterflies were there flying oh so free
a robin with his redbreast singing in a tree

it was really lovely a lovely site to see
the beauty in my garden filled my heart with glee.

mama always knew when anything was wrong
she cuddled and she kissed me kept me feeling strong
mama she was there to love and comfort me
always by my side  mum would always be

she would wipe my tears as they began to weep
she would stroke my brow and send me off to sleep
mama always knew and she would understand
mama she would listen as she held my hand

mum was always there she would guide me through
mum she  always knew things  that only mammas do

when we chat online a keyboard chatting thing
keyboard romancing this can sometimes bring
if there is no cam each other you do see
like the older days when people had cb

typing on the keyboard what you have to say
hoping that a romance could be on its way
you carry on the chatting  what will be will be
person you are chatting to   one day you might see

when your mind is in a whirl and it  begins to slide
only thing that comes to you its time for suicide
it can be so hurtful for friends and family
the people that loved you  they will no longer see.

it isnt fair to them now they dont have you
yet they have to suffer  for there whole life through
so if you feel thats life is just to much for you
get the help you need is the thing to do

save the ones that love you from  a tragedy
there suffering and pain dosent have to be
if you care about them show them that you do
get the help you need that is waiting there for you

some people they have issues have them everyday
never getting better they wont go away
morning noon and night always in your head
keeping you awake when you go to bed

thinking that the world is always on your case
and the world outside you can no longer face
hoping maybe oneday you can turn it round
and peace within your mind now at last is found

they say a heart has'strings like a puppet at a show
is it really true will we ever know
which  one do  pull  when we want control
which one for the heart which one for the soul.

do we  have to guess what these strings'will do
which of these control the heart inside of you
are they really there like the saying goes
is it really true  or something we suppose

the robin is a lovely bird one that we all know
with a big red chest that almost seems to glow
he loves to visit gardens find a worm  or two
thing that he likes best is sing his song to you

every note in tune everyone in key
i sit there and listen to his melody
such a lovely bird always nice to see
i sit there and listen when he sings to me

when the sun begins to shine it can make you smile
bring a little happiness if only for a while
skies have turn to blue gone now as the grey
sending down its heat as shines away

brightens up the the day as it comes shining through
warms the  heart and soul  there inside of you
life it seems much better happy bright and gay
as the sun shines up above on such a lovely day

i love it in the country theres so much to see
lots and lots of wild life roaming wild and free
rabbit and the badger fox and weasel to
there are many more these are just a few

many many flowers growing everywhere
some that we all know some are very rare
butterflies and ladybirds and the bumble bee
mother natures children there for us to see

we live different lives no two are the same
only thing in common is life is just a game
we are just players we just play along
we might play it right we might play it wrong

never really knowing what game life will play
it can change its game change it everyday
so we just play along play it day by day
try to win lifes game what ever it may play

manners they coast nothing they are always free
yes please and thankyou words thats meant to be
taught to everybody from many years ago
manners is a word. one that we all know

there for you to use  manners they are free
words that mean so much that are meant to be
used for generations a long long time ago

when your feeling down.  look inside your mind and see
all the many good times that there used to be
memories you treasure that mean so much you
all those special things that you used to do

this will make you smile again take away the blue
happiness once more will return to you
memories are there to look back upon
when your feeling down help you carry on

i bought a little budgie and put him a cage
i guess he didnt like it he began to  rage
so i bought a mirror to keep him company
hoping this would help him to be temper free.

then i bought a ladder put it in there too
now he could have some exercise like the budgies do
bought a little bell so he could make it ding
tap it with his beak so the bell would ring.

now he looked so happy i went of to bed
then when i arose the poor bird was dead
i bought all the things a budgie he might need
the only thing i never got was the budgie seed

when you fall in love your heart will tell you so
you will feel its love as it begins to flow
round and round it goes as it begins to soar
each and every day growing even more

happy ever after you will always stay
with a love so true growing more each day
there to last a lifetime within the heart of you
there for evermore for you whole life through

there was a little dog his life was rather rough
neglected by his owner  he had. had enough
the little dog decided he would runaway
wander of alone and become a stray.

roam around the country where he could be free
no more hurt or harm safe again was he
oneday on his travels along the countryside
he saw a little cottage its door was open wide.
the little dog was hungry and took a look inside.

there he saw a lady sitting in a chair
she had heard the dog and knew that he was there.
she knew the dog was hungry fed him with some meat
and some doggy biscuits a proper doggy treat.

she lived on her own and needed company
she was very lonely just the same as he
the little dog was happy and with the lady stayed
now they had each other there company was made.

there both still togther to this very day
dog has settled down and no longer wants to stray.

boats can give you freedom make you feel so free
sailing miles away on the deep blue sea
sitting on a yacht with a glass of wine or two
underneath the sun beneath the sky so blue

do a little fishing while the weathers fine
catch a fish or two with your rod and line
maybe see the dolphins having lot of fun
swimming altogether in the summer  sun

the freedom  of the sea can reach your heart and soul
make you feel so happy make you feel so whole
sailing on the sea passing time away
having lots of fun on a summers day

i like to watch the butterflies on a summers day
floating all around colors on  display
the colors of the rainbow plus a whole lot more
lots of different colors ive never seen before

flying altogether like  a carpet in the sky
i try to count the colors as they floating by
flying all in unison  flying wild and free
just watch the butterflies wakes the soul in me

a mothers love is real a mothers love is true
and for all her life gives her love to you
there to comfort you when ever things go wrong
there to guide you through with her love so strong

a very special bond there will always be
and a love so special that she gives for free
that will never die or ever fade away
there inside her heart her mothers love will stay

little spike the hedgehog the sporty type was he
he just loved the water and loved to water ski
pulled behind a boat riding on the crest
riding on the waves this he liked the best.

jumping over ramps high up in the air
people were amazed they would stop and stare
doing little spins this he liked to do
then a little flip with a trick or two

everybody loved him and loved to watch his skill
just to watch the hedgehog gave them such a thrill

children make a family give your life a glow
fill you full of happiness as they begin to grow
they will love you always forever and a day
with a bond so strong that will never break away

when your feeling down they are the for you
with there love so strong and forever true
hold you in there arms when you begin to cry
there to comfort you till the teardrops dry

its a part of living has a family
forever in there hearts there love will always be

if my heart had wings i would make it fly
and i would take you with me to a castle in the sky
my little world of love just for you and me
where we could live together for eternity

we could live as one with nothing in the way
i would love and cherish you every single day
we could live forever with a love so true
if my heart had wings this i would do for you

when your feeling happy it gives your heart a lift
and the blues you had now begin to shift
you begin to smile again.  like you did before
happiness you had.  as returned once more

all it takes is happiness to make you feel brand new
hang on to your happiness when it comes to you
it can make you smile when your feeling blue
just a little happiness will help to pull you through

angel is her name she keeps her come company
always very playful always brings a smile
loves  to go out walking for a little while

like two peas in a pod they go every where

bought my self a horsebox made a camper van
tour everywhere im a travellin man
head on down the highway all along the coast
visit every state that i love the most

from tuscon arizona to memhis teneesee
travellins in my blood its a part of me
