maple cottage is a lovely place not far away from me
a lovely country house with lots of scenery
like something from a fairy tale such a lovely view
there are lots of birds there are quite a few

singing in the morn bringing in the day
all in harmony it melts your heart away
they are very friendly and just love to feed
i sit there and watch as they eat there seed

such a lovely place with nature all around
there at maple cottage heaven can be found
lots of scenery lots of things too view
beauty every where a fairy tale come true

two little lovebirds were cuddled in a tree
very much in love that was plain to see
they began to sing a lovely melody
singing both together in perfect harmony

i sat there and listened to there lovebird song
it was very beautiful i tried to singalong
when there song was over in to the sky they flew
very much in love into the sky so blue

i wont for get that day the lovebirds sang to me
in my mind forever there song will always be

when your feeling down and you begin to cry
and the smile you had  now has become a sigh
think about the good times.  all things you did
how life used to be when you were just a kid

find your happy place there inside your mind
be happy once again put your blues behind  
once again be you in your happy place
then the world outside you once again can face

everyone love birds  there such a lovely thing
joy to every garden  is what they always bring
there are many kinds  there for us to view
goldfinch and the robin sparrow starling to

there such lovely creatures there so nice to see
each and every where roaming wild and free
singing out there song in the early dawn
welcoming the day singing in the morn

adding lots of color lots of beauty to
singing out there song in the morning dew
mother natures children there for you to see
the beauty of the birds warms the heart in me

i have little kitten he just loves to grin
as i stroke his fur underneath his chin

he begins to purr as peaceful as can be
i can see him smile as he looks at me.

then he falls asleep while sat upon my knee
to his land of smiles with his life so free

i watched all the bikers come from miles away
coming to my home town to celebrate dave day
arriving in there thousands all for charity
dave he would be proud if he was  here to see

dave he loved his bikes to him they were his pride
with his best friend si together they would ride
like two peas in a pod  both were a biker guy
dave he will be watching from heaven in the sky

thanking every biker from the bottom of his heart
and the miles they rode so they all could be  a part
the dave day celebration in his memory
where bikers  come together all for charity

i just love the robin when he starts his bobbing  in the morning sun
hopping round my garden having  so much fun
sticking out his chest as bold as bold can be
he is very friendly a happy chap his he

hopping round and round looking for a feed
jumps upon  my feeders he just loves the seed
brings a smile to me fills my heart with glee
my little robin friend means the world to me
