For my birthday gift
this year,

I want

the summer evening mellow wind
on burnt roofs signing off on February memories,

Some sober flowers that smile just enough
and smell more of affection than love,

a stray dog to validate me
and wag his tail when my wings are cut off,

A long way to go
and return,

a mute button

and a gun.
Too much to ask?
Roses are red
Violets are blue
Jumping on the bandwagon
Why don't you come too?
Room is a universe
Bed is a planet
The ceiling the stars shine so close you could grab it
The energy is buzzing
Electricity powers the air
Alive with connectivity
It was heightened to share
Brain waves
Neural pathways
Signal to nebulae
Galaxies
Dark and light
Crossing cells from
day
           unto
        the
         night

I want to know you.
to your core.
the gentle chest.
I want to insert myself there and
breathe your breaths

through storm & volcano loads spitting
hot lava up from Gaia's gut & soaking city
in its prophesy; Medusa never told me about her heart
wounded but not vanquished
by Prometheus' spear; now zombie-eyed
staring back at me as I patch the bleeding ****;
its only a blemish & she heals
as foretold by the divine oracle,
pinning my seashells to her chest
in her throne of precious stone
& clay molds itself into her silent handmaidens
as I as representative of her mystery school's priests
bow behind her toilet as she leans over
& utters prayers from her wise ***

You
In an infinite universe, you are an infinite mystery

You are a hypercube, a pan dimensional entity with the possibility of never ending invisible sides

You are a tiger chasing its tail

You are a strand in the translucent fabric of reality

You are my friend, my enemy, my lover, my family

You are a stranger

You are a symbol, a code to convey a message

You are God

You are nothing

You were born to die but will never cease to exist

You are a microbiome, a world, a home

You are the sum of your parts

You are not meant to be understood

You are a unique copy

You are a paradox

You are a tool created by the cosmos for which to understand itself

You are we

I fear water and words.
They can be so deep sometimes.
Is it a verse,a story or a sonnet.
Or a mere pool, lake or the biggest ocean on this planet.
For the real fear doesn't creep in when I dive.
It does when I go too deep in search of life.
Deep words imprint on my mind, they scar.
Deep water drowns me in it,
Couldn't be found without a radar.
I think I'm not just yet ready to dive.
For,
deep water and words might scar me for life.
