Others I thought looked but didn't really see
Until you looked inside and saw my every need
That's what one would call silent looking
I had been hurting for awhile
But your new love gently changed my life style
For all time to come keep silent looking
Victor Tripp Aug 2014
Our love is a strange dance of pretense.Your turn to curstsy
My turn to bow.We both need to agree to walk off the dance floor
Into the welcoming embrace of the last goodbye
Because as yet happiness is a long dream  that I have yet to see come true
This might be a sad statement coming from grief
But I've grown tired of pain sinking its sharp teeth into me
My entire being is so hurt and each day it keeps getting worse
This strange dance is no longer a slight chance for me or you
In keeping up with this strange dance
Once long ago in the past I would have tried
But realize now its simply time to say my last goodbye to this
Strange dance

Lofty ambitions are sometimes to high for some people to reach
Causing them to fall down between the cracks and into a spiral
Of defeat and failure, trapped within their own miserable existence
Making the best of it , tasting the bitter wine of defeat
In the cold sordid hours of minutes reaching  out, putting death holds
On strength reason, living in depression's grim prison
Thinking you were wed to it from the womb, until its loneliness
You cannot  confide in or trust, or even reason with

THE RIVER BY VICTOR TRIPP
Victor Tripp Oct 2014
I was born in a time when life made more sense
People were not worried how they would pay the rent
We expected change of our elected ones
But not much change did come
I was born not far from a river one running wild and free
Keep wondering why certain dreams inside keep dying on me
We expected change of our elected ones
But change did not surely come
I see people go to the movies whenever in town
But if you don't have any money they won't let you hang around
When my needy hand is out to someone
Passing on the street heads remain with eyes ahead
They want you to fall down on your knees
Living is sometimes  not easy and lack makes a grown man cry
Guess I'll have the final answer to all my questions
In that bright city in the sky
Victor Tripp Dec 2015
Living on the outside since you took your love away from me
Dying slowly inside can't run away from myself
There's no place to really hide, love took it's gift away
Floated away like a beautiful balloon
It an inspiration like a locked door opened to see
But disappeared like smoke in wind blown air
But just because you want something I've learned
Doesn't mean that its meant to be
Victor Tripp Oct 2014
I love you far beyond myself until the last sand of time is gone
Daily my contract of faithfulness is renewed
Along with my compassionate love for you which is not
An indulgence. Hold me close within the heart
When weariness overtakes you rest upon my shoulder
As my head later would rest upon the pillow of your breast
Who could love you more than I? Let me catch those falling tears
In the cups of these two hands

Pretending By Victor Tripp
Victor Tripp Oct 2015
Pretending, to me has become so real and dear, i pretend even though
You're no longer here, wearing  a false face smile, for all to see
A clown in the mirror to be,naturally,I tell myself to be honest and
Even try, but when nobody's looking, tears flow from my eyes
Its gotten so, each day of life, my lying is done, so skillfully, lost your
Love ,so very long ago, the love has sailed, on by, and cannot get you
To hear this earnest plea, with my head in my hands,o woe is me

ool everyone both near and far, a clown mask to be,i tell myself to
Victor Tripp Jan 2015
With every sigh every glance
Every touch . I fall deeper in love with you
All over again
Victor Tripp Nov 2015
Gone is yesterday and all  the love that we both had inside
I see clearly now, taken away also was the chance to make you my bride
Sitting in this lonely beach house of glass
I'm feeling so very sad inside
And even though it took a hit from a once beautiful
But now lost love
This man will walk away with his pride
Victor Tripp Jul 2014
Yesterday was a journey filled with dark thoughts
As I walked through a barren flowerless garden of loneliness
Unbeliveing  and dismal was my future outlook
And the world point of view
The sun of brilliant splendor usually far above in the sky
Seemed to be playing peek-a-boo
Today the sky is clear with birds singing newly composed  songs
Once again I hold within the knowledge that life is dear
And am brave enough to face anything that suddenly comes along
Because  you my sweet and wonderful love have inspired my heart
To sing lush lovely songs
Victor Tripp Dec 2015
We're using up the Earth's resources oh so fast
Land fills overflow as time goes on
Cutting down trees, polluting every corner of the land
How much longer will our beloved environment last
Randomly dropping trash on city streets
This planet is all we've got since God isn't making any more land
Rivers and lands are badly strained
Fog shadows spread throughout the forests
And if we all start to care, we can clean up the mess
That was made and clean lungs and fresh air will come to our aide
And in the years to come we'll all have it made
Even the planets up have gas and  blowing dust
Please do your small part to keep our Earth clean
And know that in God we must all trust
Victor Tripp Dec 2015
Love is no more than you make it
Always be sure it's real never fake it
Only let into your life the one that you want to take it
Love draws each person closer and closer ,
Ends up making two instead of a lonely one
Love will find you when not looking
Make two people joined at the heart
Bump into you on the street or crowded public place
And that innocent one is how love starts
Protecting your heart is never easy
Only let in the one you want to break it or take it
Take down the emotional caution sign from both heart and mind
Nine times out of ten , you'll end up just fine
Victor Tripp Dec 2015
I'm dancing as fast as I can get away
From your beatings on my legs and arms you're insecure I say
When we first fell in love you were so handsome
And had such dazzling charm, but oh how over time a romance
Can change, and I wish now inside, I'd never learned your name
Dancing as fast as I can away from the storm of confusion
What I thought was real love was only an illusion
You're certainly not the same man and I'm dancing away alive
While I still can. Dancing away from from movie set dreams
And the partner who never was in this life, who he really seemed
Dancing as fast as I can from all the  pain and sorrow
And into what I hope will be a brighter tomorrow
Dancing as fast as I can

With  a muted roar, and a bladder that must be emptied
More times than i care to count.Yet i rejoice knowing,inside my *****
Are gifts yet to be shared of kings and queens
From my issue, who will be known in the world
Please know, that these words ,will not find me

WET TEARS BY VICTOR TRIPP
Victor Tripp Jul 2014
Wet tears overflow the banks of sad eyes
it seems that sorrow is holding court and is in session again
hiding the smile that tries to come forth like the natural dawn
and one never really knows the journey from tears to triumph
and how long it will take to reach
for there are far to many who could tell of the strain of tears on the human heart

Aim High BY VICTOR TRIPP
Victor Tripp Oct 2015
Looking deep,into your eyes,courage is leaping up,inside
And my one desire, is to be, your one and only guy
This is my time, now to aim ever so high, the rain of yesterday
Has gone away, waiting here patiently, to hold you close
A never let you ,get away ,  forget about all those, other guys
Who tried ,to give you a play, have mercy on this man, please don't
Leave me alone, with just a sad sigh, respect my courage, if nothing else
That has taught this man, to aim high
Victor Tripp Jan 2015
Sitting in the park, signs of summer all around us. Cuddling so close
So glad that love has found us. My world would be one without you
In my life.Promises made to friends and family before you came , can
Now be kept. We have yet to know some of our best times as a couple
And I want to thank you my dear, for loving me. Our love is deeper than
The ocean, taller than a redwood tree. Words can't express all that your Love does and means to me
Victor Tripp Sep 2015
We raise our dreams in the light
Not in the past of things, left undone
Or things lost or left behind, dead thoughts and wishes
Are better off, buried in green fields of memory
So now,as age slowly steals my youth,I seek out thoughts
Perhaps, long forgotten, and look for cities, that will embrace my spirit
Paths that will welcome,my presence, pointing the way
To crossroad moments, composed of neither, shadow or light
Time itself, wastes nothing, for only man can do this, in the economy
Of the dawn
Victor Tripp Jan 2015
Love can be intoxicating as a rose, but than again, a rose has thorns
Everybody knows, they can sooth inspite of the pain break you and
Make you whole again. Make one in love feel a lift, than have you
Feel like tumbling down an endless cliff ,love can be as sweet as a rose
But a rose has thorns everybody knows

Imagination By VICTOR TRIPP
Victor Tripp Sep 2014
Imagination will take you places that you might not want to go
It will make the fake seem real just ask me for this i know
Sometimes imagination is needed to keep sadness and blues
Far away I pulled out my Imagination on this sunny saturday
And if you feel that a lift in your spirit could be helpful
Than come along with me we can fly high above our cares and troubles
Throughout the day and feel so free let imagination amuse us
And teach us some new things so come along with me and let old
imagination teach our hearts just how to sing
Victor Tripp Dec 2014
Sometimes my loving you is like pushing against a stone, when my needs
Cry out , you want to be alone. Maybe it would be better if our love had
Another jumpstart, but I've been told to always go with your heart
When looking at relationships of those who seem to have it made
What you really see is no more than pretense on slow parade
I keep on giving out all the love I own, but my heart is slowly breaking
Because one just can't keep on pushing uphill against a stone
Victor Tripp Dec 2014
Never let your life become a running stream of regret
By not taking a brave chance on that opportunity love or help others
In need.Know that people want to believe you even if they know that
You're lying to them. If you tell the truth as a lifestyle you won't have
To recall to mind what was said last year or last month. Don't be afraid
Of bringing forth change in the world or your life
Should it even be in clothes habits challenges dreams direction
Remember all that you have to lose is fear and reluctance
Victor Tripp Sep 2014
I remember that rainy day in September now gone
Gave you a last hug of goodbye
Parting is ******* those who have parted so they say
Tears mixed with the rain when I watched you walking away
But there is hope in the coming tomorrows
That will erase today's sorrow and I'll always remember that
Falling rain in September that took you away from me
Victor Tripp Nov 2015
There's a deep secret in your eyes
I want to know
Are you guarded with the love inside
Or going to let it flow
Please tell me , before we get started ,Will I end up the one broken hearted
Will you say yes and tell me yet
Want to heat the flame again inside
And thinking about making you my bride
Need the unknown from you to pry
And long to hear the secret in your eyes
Victor Tripp Nov 2015
Swimming in darkness trying to overcome waves of confusion
In that vast sea nowhere to run for escape
Like being in a airtight room with no key
Walking around with a normal appearance but slowly going mad inside
Not knowing left or right wanting to stay in bed under the covers
You've found the perfect place to hide
Constant pounding in your head
Daily madness knocking out your needs
People all around but much to busy to hear a personal  plea
Swimming in darkness won't somebody help me, please
Victor Tripp Dec 2015
Broken hearts aren't easy to mend on your own
Until another  new love comes along
And while you're left waiting in tears for that very thing to happen
You must stay strong and brave all on your own
Somehow I could take heart blows and hits to my ego when younger
But when you get older it gets harder to defend
Won't somebody tell me just how can you mend a broken heart
And catch a dream that just went south
Why does a good love turn suddenly sad
Leaving you with screams coming from your mouth
Somebody please have mercy on me
Stop these tears  from falling down
Somebody tell me when love has fled and you're really hurting inside
Nobody can be seen or found
And you wish for no more sorrow
Desiring inside happy days tomorrow
As the World goes around, you say, God help me get up and win again
How can you mend a broken heart, just let me know
When you done it my friend
Victor Tripp Jan 2015
In the lonely hour, when everyone is fast asleep, silence is  all around
Like a sweet maiden , all mine to keep. One thing I realize that my distant
Lover can't hear me now, but even far away or near remains bone of my
Bone and flesh of my flesh , and I  would hope that this prayer reaches
Across the miles touching your very spirit, just like I long to do were you
Here in this lonely hour, and I would hold you close to me like man holds
A very precious jewel,my love
Victor Tripp Oct 2014
Have a little faith pass it all around  as you go,
Hand out a smile it will make someone's day just so.
Don't walk around with knifes of hate in your eyes.
Do a  deed of kindness for a stranger it will be a big surprise
Have a little faith in your fellow man. Change each bad habit
And attitude dig down deep inside people.I know that you can
Stop waiting turn your own world upside down
Start out with love it really works better than a face with
A daily frown just have a little faith
Victor Tripp Sep 2014
How do you know how I'm feeling or say how long I should be grieving?
It's true my loved one has been gone for a very long time
But the memory is still fresh in my mind
Time and reason say I should be over the sadness now
But I really don't quite know how I prayed so hard to the Lord
yet peace of mind is not now my reward He'll give the answer I seek in the the right time but can't sleep with this on my mind and how
Do you know what I'm feeling or how long I should be grieving
While its true my loved one has been gone for a very long time
But the memory is still on my mind
Victor Tripp Dec 2015
I'd buy bright and pretty things
And bring into your life all the joy this World has to bring
Imagine everything would be your special coloring book
Just as long as our love had a second look
I love your bright eyes and lovely smile
Giving you the best of my love
Come power my imagination
Victor Tripp Nov 2015
When we were two I guess that  tried
But somehow along the way to our happy little dream it up and died
We took a break and lost all that made us glow inside
For heaven's sake when we were two
There was talk at times about our marriage
Two white horses pulling a golden carriage
Time had us wave goodbye and that's to bad
Wiser and older now both of us
But left so sad
Victor Tripp Nov 2015
Hold on to your love
While its still around for the sad and forlorn know for sure
That after awhile it cannot be found
Time's clock is ticking so fast and the love that 's belongs to you
Fight  and guard to make it last
Listen to me and let your love flow free
For love always meets its perfect melody

Move On By Victor Tripp
Victor Tripp Nov 2015
Sadness will really show what you're made of
And should you be tired of something or someone in your life
You're not alone, everybody gets tired sometimes
But I'm telling you get up off your knees
Because you've got some believing to do
Light a fire of courage in your belly
Give your self another chance
Rise up and shake off shame's dust
Don't just sit there cry and mourn
Move on
Victor Tripp Jul 2014
Look what they done to my freedom,ma
it was just here a few minutes ago, but America done stole it away,
chains on my neck, legs and soul everywhere I go
its enough to drive a grown man insane
see my silent tears water the dust my red bloodcrying turning the clay
wish I had wings to fly away
but all of me is hurting night and day
see what they done to my  freedom ma,if I could just rrest on your ***** for a little while
until the dark lonely night turns into the golden day
they put a noose around my freedom and dreams ma, chained both my hands and feet, took away my very smile and turned me into a slave
look what they done to my freedom, ma
it was just here a minute  ago, but Americca done stole it away
look what they done to my freedom,ma

ou know it was here just a minute ago

When nobody's around she cries
The tears that during the day she had to hide
Love is beautiful when its right. But so deadly when its wrong.

YOU AND I BY VICTOR TRIPP

May these tender moments of our love last. I'm determined to love  you
Longer than forever. Just promise me that you will leave me never .
Now that we are one. Our dreams will soar higher than the sun . You and
I will always be .Let love fall like raindrops on my longing soul for you
Have become my rock and hub . Their can never be  a woman as sweet Nor as dear for me . And I hunger for each and every touch
Victor Tripp Dec 2015
I need your love to wash all my pain away
It's a  I've learned to believe in
Thanks go up for you every day
It's so good to fall on my knees and pray
Love so perfect in each and every way
That's one of the many reasons that I want your love to stay
Victor Tripp Dec 2015
Love is new to me and that's a fact, tell what should I do
And how should I act? I'm going to start living again
Said goodbye to Mr Lonely because we were never really friends
No more tears in the dark night silently falling down
Since love has come to us, guess I'll hang around
Smiling all of the time and busy gathering future dreams
Things don't seem as sad as others would have you believe
Sadness has given a pardon to me and on the subject of this love
I know we both can agree, but I know even though I'm a bit slow
Love is new to me
Victor Tripp Dec 2015
Memories of the past trying to put a hold on me
Going into the future not looking back over my shoulder
And I'll still end up being free
Making a new choice of my own , and lifting up my strong voice
Won't have to try so hard and give away myself
Looking in the mirror and yes I like just what I see
Still going to keep my distance from wrong and temptation
And stay real and always be free
Never going to give up , no matter how hard the test
I'll stand among the victors and come out being the best

The sun cries that it's to early to be put to bed
Yet night insists that it's turn to shine has come
The stars glow like huge eyes against the dark background of sky
Air is white shirt crisp stillness trim down below on earth
Time steals days and nights of longing
Man dreams of ways to be Hero  survivor
Often hitting a blank surface in thought
Violence is a steady interruption of life's peace
That leaves no choices
Test my courage against the challenge

Living to survive  trying to keep myself alive
Having to always roam in and out of strange foster homes
Looking for two loving hearts of a mom and dad until
That happens  I'll just cry all day and be sad
Won't you bring this child home to our house today
Seen so much pain and suffered so much strife
Won't you take a chance and add me to your life
Reach out your loving hand  let me hold on to you
My dream of having a family only you can make come true
Filled with rising hope inside living to survive
Please let this child alone come to you

LET MY LOVE BY VICTOR TRIPP
Victor Tripp Oct 2014
Let my love answer your desire
And take care of the need within
Victor Tripp Nov 2015
Our time just ended and now I see it was just all one big laughing joke
To everyone but me, funny how love ran smoothly than stopped
I feel the whole world is laughing now but not with me
I should throw my hands up and say  goodbye to a rotten affair
My brain says just walk away why should you even care
You played such a leading part up and walked away
Left this man broken and down with a bleeding heart
You know it's difficult to rejoice at any time with a broken heart
And what the feelings had to say
When sorrow in blood has written down your name
Hope that one day love will smile on you again
But as for me, every day will be just the lonely same
Victor Tripp Jul 2014
What  language or voice does the wind speak?
When love comes softly our lives wait  our senses listen
Expectation tingles the flesh and we cannot hold all that we love
When the thunder flashes tossing thunder bolts at gains
We go chasing after the unknown
Certain to lose so scared
Lives with out hope
Victor Tripp Nov 2014
I've collected and put away.Tender kisses and warm hugs with smiles.
For the days on which. Your sad. And I promise to hold each tear
In the palms. Of   these loving hands. And wait around to cheer you up.
Until the moments return when their is a rainbow of glad. I'm willing to
Fight  and take down. Any stop sign on the road. Of your happiness
Victor Tripp Sep 2014
And I stopped caring long along what people think of me
Try it yourself and take a turn at really being free
I stopped thinking that some people really care
For there are some only when pain has them hurting
Really want you there. After that you're as usual as a quarter
With a whole in it .Make up your mind to run this race fast
Alone and win my friend
Victor Tripp Jul 2014
I should have written sooner, that I know
But no sooner does the dawn command the sun to rise
Before evening makes it go its lonely way
Somehow I still think of you
When I behold a  russet apple tree
With arms bent down with ripe fruit
Or walking the beach barefoot
With shrieking seagulls overhead
Under  a sky as clear and blue
as  polished glass
Come walk beside me on this new day
Let us join the ages
The sun rises and sets
As the seasons spin before our eyes
The moon and stars will light the way
For us down life's path
Seeds of friendship planted by us will take hold and grow
Care and love will protect them
Warm and feed them
Surely a tree will rise from the soil of time
Warmed by the sun's gentle rays
Let us plant today
The tree will be us
But you seem unsure
Be my loving friend
Are you  ready?
Do you feel secure enough to really know me?
Do I offer too little or too much?
Am I too late?
Or too soon?
Victor Tripp Sep 2014
Live your life if young or or old live it well before Death steals
Another chance or rings the final bell don't break positive promises
Made to yourself because if they're not kept don't depend
On somebody else live your life dare to give it a try
Each moment lived is getting away don't let dreams pass on by
Never wake up tomorrow with tears of regret there are adventures
And wonders that are waiting out there that haven't been met yet
Live your life back up each sorrow decide today not to beg steal or borrow live your life it's only here once so live to distribute it right now
Victor Tripp Oct 2015
Sometimes, in a loving relationship, there must be two on board
If one wants to jump out of the bat, than pain is the only reward
It takes two , to make the thing work, one can't be slipping around
In the dark, doing dirt, be of a made up mind, to cherish each other
From nine to five, please don't be selfish , just thinking about yourself
Because your once true love, will soon start looking around and reaching
For somebody else, it takes two people, to keep love real and true
Victor Tripp Nov 2014
My dearest friend. O how I miss you. If you were here now. These lips would want to kiss you. An embrace would be ecstasy. A dream made real. Holding your body. To me. My dearest friend. Please don't let this
Good loving end. I'll be just fine. If what we have. And hold.Stays mine.
My dearest friend. Now that I've tasted the honey's sweetness.Never
Let it end
