If I had another chance,to love you again, I would take it,because I know deep down inside, without  real love, none of us can make it, we have a strong bond and friendship ,to share. without any pretense, and if the  love the that we say we have is unreal, and  a fake, it makes no sense, that's why I'm so careful each night before closing  each eye in sleep, and when thinking about each precious second of love that you 've given me,I can't help but say a prayer of thanks , and break down and weep

I WOULD GO BY VICTOR TRIPP
victor tripp Nov 2013
I would go, where rippling waters sing, birds tweet in happy chorus, trees stand guarding age old forests, all of God's nature motions our rapt attention, humanity's voice is  of peace, mountains call out, my name in welcome, where dark skies of weeping, are forbidden, and sullen moods of sadness, never have permission to enter, I would go where black and white tan yellow, join hands in love and friendship, where hate and broken dreams, are outcast, I would go where people of love, all colors and creeds help, and inspire each other, this is where I  would go

HUNGRY TWO BY VICTOR TRIPP
victor tripp Nov 2013
on our farm,I made a  playhouse, out of old wooden grates, its a place to ponder about, the food  I haven't ate, when mama is in the kitchen, her meals  are light as a feather, but if there's nothing in the pantry to fix,how good a cook she is, really doesn't matter. preacher joe and his wife millie, are aware of our family's plight, they both prepare church cooked meals for all,who are hungrt in the town, so that their stomachs, don't growl in hunger, before they go to sleep at night, sometimes when I go to school, to get some learning, at home is an empty fridge  cup plate, have to put my head down, on the desk, because hungry keeps striking me  with crossed eyes like a coiled up snake, no one can see my hungry, but its always there, and I pray to the LORD above ,that the people in WASHINGTON who hold power over everybody's life, will open their eyes, and really help the voters, in the NATION,and stop pretending  they really care ,and causing food shortage strife

i'm  a hungry child in Americia and all I  is dream of food, eating chips candy cookies, every chance that comes, surely doesn't help my mood, crying on mama's shoulder for a little more to eat,the small donuts that I saw in the supermarket  would be a great stomach treat,i'm hungry,i'm so hungry, hamburgers and fries steak withbrown gravy, are dancing before my eyes.mama loves me, I know that she really cares, but she eat noodles every meal before my birth ,so that's why I came out of her womb, impaired, hungry in America, the greatest country in the world, and there are so many others like myself ,out there, many hungry little boys and girls, hungry, will the nightmare ever really end ? so hungry ,waiting for the gridlock between the President and both houses in Washington to mend, can't they come together for my sake, and be friends, and not fool the Nation or me with their phony promises and lies just to get elected to office again, because,i'm hungry.

the weight and height of sorrow wedded to grief, becomes often to much  alone to bear, yet these unwelcome guests follow us dressed in black, causing each to shut our eyes in pain,so that tears flow quietly down the face.locking all into the chamber of rememberance and regret.sometimes stealing the will to live or even survive.piles of memories are left behind like tasks undone, the day is past and gone, sunlight removed from the heart of time motion, one dares not think of beginning anew.

Joel's ten month old only child, a son, had just started walking as Joel was sentenced to jail for three to six months for fighting, after charges had been filed against him. Each time a court hearing was set Joel went, but the dates were always post phoned. Joel meet Sena a tall dark skinned buxom  twenty nine old French speaking woman, just off the coast of Ghana. They married and through mutual friends came to America, and settled in Germantown. Sena spoke French to her dacca. She was a devoted mother and wife. Each time that Sena dropped her child off at daycare, she covered dacca's face with kisses, before heading for the indoor fruit stand that employed her. Joel always cocky and prideful, all of his life, drove a black Lincoln with his girlfriend closer than a flea on a dog, and met sales quotas when required. Granted one phone call from jail, Joel spoke with his rejected wife Sena, asking for bail money, his once proud and sarcastic voice breaking. A lawyer informed Sena that since charges had been filed ,the conviction had to stand. Joel now sits in a shared cell occasionally looking through the steel bars in lock down, gazing up at stars that he once rode and walked under freely.
