Everything she wore was yellow
but all she felt was gray
gray like the fog that hung over her head and consumed her
in her life it felt red
but in her mind it was a black disarray
black lines that constantly intersected and would never untangle
her head hung white
blank

Milky way, dip me in
Stars will lead me, Luna will take me
Asteroids & comets, help me wish
You, bring my head down back to Earth

oh how slowly time can pass
I could dream up a novel
only to find that the clock has not quite ticked 3 times just yet

Or maybe these ticks come and go all too fast
maybe I move in slow motion
too slow for day to day tasks
paced just perfectly to drift far away

We walk a narrow line
between love and hate
he spoke in prose
a foreign tongue
of rhyme & rythmic
of lust & dreams

her love was unconditional
his love was dormant
never to see nor feel the sun's lovely rays

1,422 days
in love with you.
You ran my mind
but did not have a clue about it
I hate to be so cliche, but it felt like love at first sight
though the probability is minimal
I stand by my word
you walked into my life & I couldn't seem to shake you from my mind

I was head over heals for you
hot
you were unsure of things
fluid
you'd make me mad and I'd strike the match
and while throwing your arms around in rage
gasoline would spill
the match would drop
dead

golden rays flashing from the sun
coastal blue waves lap up onto me
i breathe in the scent of salty air mixed with coconut scented tanning oil
to my right i see you
you're summer's promise to me
your blonde overgrown hair just covers your ears
a pool of blue swims in you eyes
you look at mine
green leaves and just peaking do you see sun's golden rays
we wear tanned complexions
and bask in the presence of one another
you press your hands into the sand, warm on you skin & grainy to the touch
you lean over and kiss me tugging at my my hair
i feel a new wave of heat transpire over us two
before we knew it temperatures plummeted
I loved the heat, i hated that it always turns into a biting cold
