Esther Sep 14
Ripping skin
Bleeding heart
Intertwined as one
Yet worlds apart

Pain
Both emotional
And self inflicted
Physical

Metal
Digging deep
Tears of true,
Searing agony

I caused blood
I was in control
Finally the one
To create that hole.

Intense burns
Throbbing pain
But my eyes see
Only the gain

Not the blood
Not the scars
Just all my victories
My conquered wars.

Moans of pain
Are music to my ears
They wash away
All the fears.

The fear of being controlled
Emoting by someone elses will
The fear of not living a life of my own
My story written by anothers quill.

So I stare at the blood flowing out
With gratefulness in my eyes
For all the pain I endured
This is my prize.
Esther Sep 14
I just created a world.

A world
Where clouds hang low,
But I search
For the sun above.

A world
Where voices are raised,
But I listen
To the beauty of the unspoken.

A world
Where children are hit, left with scars,
But I look
Deep into the soul beneath.

A world
Where people are judged,
But I see them
As part of my nation.

A world
Where Gods presence is hidden,
But I feel it
Through the dark.

A world
Where everyone’s too busy to care,
But I take the time
To truly connect.

A world
Where pain is almost everything,
But I celebrate
The joyful moments.

A world
Where a life is taken for granted,
But I cherish it
More than anything else.

A world
Where people talk unthinkingly, uncaringly
But I put my heart
Into all that I say.

A world
Where love has vanished,
But I find it deep down
and uncover it.

A world
Where people are so lost,
But I see the strength
Through it all.

A world-
It's so imperfect,
But I know
If I look deep enough
I’ll find the perfection.
