Hummingbird feeding
Nectar sweet, hovering flight
A deep sleep at night.

Has me roaring with laughter

Comes from a place of great pain

Truth masquerading.

Hurting me, a sport
Your moral compass is bent,

When the jokes on me

We're far from perfect

A bell rings in the distance
Liberating us.

I'd say alls right with the world
I feel right as rain.

It shows in the eyes
When lies shrink away from truth
The eyes dilating.

Lies are nothing more
Than repackaging the truth
And then regifting.

Fulfillment lives down the street
