A solemn promise
Neil Mcpake May 27
He swore a solemn promise to keep her word in a world full of hate and repugnance. She couldn't smile until he confessed his undulterated love to her. But he never got the answers he seeked for he was a wicked cheat. Then he stood close to revulsion watching the television. While she never knew the satisfaction of her actions. Only after she went to court and saw the tensions and shock in his eyes. After she took all his money and  possessions . It just shows you even in fame you can end up bearing the shame. Because even when women are on the game they can still feel pain.
This poem is about a women's strength of character. Because no matter what job they do there still human.

No lord of trickery
Neil Mcpake May 27
On a beautiful warm sunny day so clear was the air I breathe. There was no lord of trickery standing near his horse. while staring at his enemy as a lonely corpse. When peace is the best and war is the worst. What's left when there's no remorse. When you can't be deaf to there commands. Because only in death can death ears not listen. We must never discriminate against colour or creed. So please lord let every good souls be free. Then it would be so good to see.  Even when there's collapse and demise still people shut there eyes. So may the tides turn as you journey through goverment lies while so many families see there loved ones for the last time. Remembering just the fun and kind times with that special someone.
This poem is about even in beautiful weather you can still see death. So never give up when all hope is lost for the truth.
Neil Mcpake May 27
Look to the stars to see they shine so bright for are wisdom must never see the light. Then I hope our darkest days gets left the past so vast and few then let no shadow be cast in a lonely cue. While no deaths shall steal the show as legends are made and stars are born. For there never is a perfect day.
This poetry is about stardom and right show there talents no matter what colour, creed or race you are.

On angel wings
Neil Mcpake May 27
I nearly froze upon a hillside with no one on my side. With snow and ice beneath my feet. When every step was a slide and I was my only guide. As I watched the mist gather in the mountains. The rain started to decend. On angel wings I did not fly what will I see when I die. If death becomes of me. Then let me come back from death to say heaven was no lie.
This is a poem about survival in the toughest terrain hope can be your only guide. While atheist believe there's no god.

On highest orders
Neil Mcpake May 27
On highest orders misguided they may be. Some wars are started by  individuals resulting so much terror. But we still need to account for human error. Unmarked graves halo be thou name leaving so much pain. As grieving parents cry for the loss of there loved ones. Soldiers and Surgeons trying there best as as political leaders sit behind there desks. In the armed forces the strong are left in emotional wrecks. I hope they shall never hide from forbidden lies that tries to sway there minds. As haunted dreams turn to nightmares with tears of sorrow on there pillows. That just shows they care because in war no one's fair.
This poems about loss and tradgey lossing friends and family knowing everyone's expendable even soldiers.

Bright like a light
Neil Mcpake May 27
As the waters beneath the sky shimmers the darkness shall see me so bright like a light. Walk through the shade into the shadows. I hope the weak will be stronger enough to see the mighty with strength to fight for truth and justice. For there will be no sorrow of broken dreams that makes heavy hearts. So mad were the times before I found my sanity with a confidence so just. It improved me as a human being. In that moment love was all I could find.
This poems about the fight to help the weak have the strength to get stronger in the fight for the truth. Knowing love can conquer all.
Neil Mcpake May 27
I ve been out of mind with nothing in my pocket. Left all my bad that makes me sad. Now be warned by the badness that seeks to destroy us all after we're born. Be thankful that we are not all hateful. I just hope love can conquer all. So lush is life do we need to see so much horrfic sights. Is it because they are to blind to see what is right front of there eyes. Knowing  in such conquests we should value family and friends above all. While some of the laws we live by should not stand the tests of time.
This poem is about love and hate. While some the laws are out dated so they need changing. knowing we should get wiser as we progress through different centuries.

A wintery maze
Neil Mcpake May 26
While horses graze in a wintery maze. Never knowing they were stolen too take part in our humans crazy ways. Tunnelling through trenches made out blood, sweat, wood and mud. With bodies covered in mortar shells and lead. It was a soldiers spell of living hell. knowing there enemies leaders would never have enough. Just wishing they could stop the death rate. Never knowing they could be mates after there iron curtain hate. As the grass dry's just as a couple walks down a country lane. O Wayne of pain this life I live is never rural as I go to another co vid funeral. So why was man destined to fly as citizenry draws to a lonely road. As concrete jungles make there own struggles. While watching skycrapers look like they touch the sky. As man follows rainbows looking for there *** of gold. Just as the sunshine mixes with the rain. There's always another guy that blames his woman. That's when relationships are ruined. With pastures of green as the young tell the old another story to be told. On motherland on realm did we not witness god's kingdom that was not define. Knowing that time wasn't mine. With there wartime lies and British spies. As this wonderful nation cried. You would think after all that pain and misery. No missles and bullets would be fired. Knowing all of our world war hero's have nearly died
This poem is for my grandads friend who lived in boxers Lake. The many soldiers and civillians who lost there lives in that evil war called world two. the co vid tradgey and how we have progressed. They should never be forgotten. May we stop all wars then we might find peace. Because when we see the dead and there lifeless souls are gone. With a yellow tint to there skin is never a nice thing. Especially if it's your own family. God save the king.

The Streets
Neil Mcpake May 26
This fall of mine belittled my sight now I only see in black and white. Why, O why should I see a world without colour then this to me should never be familiar. At least I m not blind to see trying to live out my own destiny. Livings in dreams of thoughts and sounds with a famous god above. Showing all on earth no love. These old and new testiments are all man made. As there written words helps there faiths. This life with live in is short and hard fought so without being taught. You turn to crime after your caught. Your living back to nought. Would be a nameless shameless pain with nothing to give and nothing gain. With only a McDonalds mirror to see your veins now dirt and vanity washed away. Sleeping on park benches, shop door ways, throw off  buses and trains with all of society to see to entertain. With no phone, no home but never alone. As you wake up to strangers with no friends to greet with holes on your shoes showing your naked feet. Because there's never any love when you live on the streets.
This poetry is about loveless and loneliness and what depths society has to keep there daily lives going in a constant high as different circles say goodbye with friends and family to far gone to cry.

My exisitence
Neil Mcpake May 25
My hollow shell of my exisitence has the pertinence to be brave with a relevance to the very people who stood by there unnamed graves. Unmaned and but never shallow there I would of cast no shadows. With the pronunciation of life to be but a butterfly floating  through a clear blue sky reincarnated after I die. As they lie lonely like a solitary cloud so still with only brittal bones. Never hearing sad songs sung but still we sing without queen's and kings. Knowing there to dead to hear there tones. With no thoughts to guide them into the light. knowing only darkness is there only friend.
This poem is about the  sadness we have after we cry and our loved ones have died.

A baroness wilderness
Neil Mcpake May 23
My time stopped to ease my thoughts with stories of old as the cold saw it's discontent. While I was wrapped in warmth with a friend against the ice and the frost as dehydration showed it usual face. Living in a white torrent place wishing for a dry fruitful space. Knowing if we were outside our bodies would be frozen without decay. Our breath will be visible and seen looking for something green. knowing loneliness is tough to cope as you see a wintery *****. In a baroness wilderness there's no boat to sail or vote to cast I just wish we lived in one united class.
This poem is about trust and honour fighting against the elements in the bitter snow. When all hope is lost we band together to survive even in the toughest places.

Time stole my mind
Neil Mcpake May 23
Time stole my mind with feelings that weren't mine. As I grow old I hear the same politicians lies. In a world full of hate there's still kind souls. To temper leaders wars when peace should be our main countries goals.
This poem is about the lies parliament talks year on year and the peace we should have without the need for war. I wrote this when I thought my mum had dementia. Thank god she hasn't but many are not so lucky. When there mind gets eaten away in a short time. Not reconizing there own family and friends. What a horrible way to die.

Profound love
Neil Mcpake May 23
Your burning eyes took a glimpse of me with so much profound love. Through daylight hours and night time cuddles with sweet dreams to temper my soul. With motions of passions to sooth our hearts with multivalent values to eases our minds. In a world full of aggression I hope love eases our tensions even after our pensions. Because my love for you is my only mission.
This is a poem about my declared love for my wife and the emotions I have for her.
Neil Mcpake May 23
May good souls stay in the light. While the souls of murders & wrongers  burn in the fire. May our desires rule out hearts not our minds. In the life we live for one day there be the end of mankind. As every life's short so be kind to each other. For in death all our friends and families will reunite.
I wrote this poem about the constant struggle between death and life in a world full right and wrong.
Neil Mcpake May 23
To quench my sorrows through happiness not rage. To free my mind with thoughts of commitment for my only love. With a tender smile to brighten up my life. Should always be just cause without any harm. Knowing I'll be calm with thy. Without grief and hate with just my manly charms. Knowing your always be on my arm.
This poems about my love for my wife and the feeling I have for her without any questionable doubts.

I have waves of enchanted emotions just thinking about you my love. With a oriflamme feelings that quenches my soul. Even when we live in pauperise I shall love you through out time. In self evident to the platitude of my beliefs with effections of my beating heart. When there's truth there's no lies. I know your have wisdom over my thoughts as I cuddle you through out the cold nights. Knowing I'll never be lonely with you my love. Because without you my life feels like it's at nought and my love for you can never be brought. Your my most precious sort.

The scars we bare
Neil Mcpake May 22
This earth we all live in has too many troubles with vehement malice against these racist tyrants and klu Klux **** that plague our lands. I don't understand why they have this hate towards these women and men. Those are the scars we bare in history that makes us discontented with there lives. Is it why our countenance is shown through the human beings of this world. We should have equality amongst everyone without eloquent of class, colour and creed but this earth is riddled with constant greed. Because in love we cherish and in death we perish. This gratitude we have with our soldiers delight that keeps us away from the wars ghastly sights.
This is a poem about my views on this world and why racistism still exists today.

Hope
Neil Mcpake May 22
Even if people are visible to you. Some things still don't become clear in life. Because what we can't hear we can see. What we can't see we can hear and what makes us cry we fear. So why is death a curse of the living when youth is a blessing and old age is a gift. At least in life there's hope.
This poem is about the struggle between the light and the darkness. The hope that one day they see and hear what they feel and touch.

A child
Neil Mcpake May 22
To be but a child to get away with being crazy and wild. Having police punishments given out to you that will only be mild. When there's old oceans, reservoirs, rivers and streams there will always be old human beings. To be but a child to never be silent but always be told to be quiet. Lingering in the dust when all trust is lost. While the birds sings as we try to live out our dreams. As everyone wishes we can stay as young human beings.
This poem is about youth and old age and the constant struggle they have to express there voice.

Armed Uniforms
Neil Mcpake May 22
As the ice froze with discontent the sun rays shined through a solemn sky as we ask the big question why do the living have to die. With lies of the ****** shown through the eyes of the wicked. Hiding the truth behind there parliament whistles and flutes. How would they know the lives of a soldier when they have never been to war. Casting there votes in the hope of peace away from striped uniforms who make women and men from girls and boys. As there dreams turn to nightmares in a chaotic battle for good over evil. With all different faces fighting against their enemies in all different places. Through chaos and storms this is the normal life of the armed uniforms.
This is a poem for my friend Craig who's brother Brett stood strong and proud in the queen's guards.

clouds my eyes
Neil Mcpake May 21
With haunted visions thàt torments my mind. As I hear so many lies that clouds my eyes. While I stay in this earthly realm death is like a nightmare. That surrounds us with the echoes of the past and the people who care. As you bare witness to the forbidden treasures that aches in my heart. With the laws of life guiding us past worldly sins away from wrongly sights. To keep up the political fight to do what's right.
This poems about the fight against right and wrong. The images I have in my life with the love I have for the people who surrounds us when we die.

Those great war souls
Neil Mcpake May 20
In loving memory of those great war souls. Who chose no hidden goals who fought for no silver, jewels or gold with deadly stories to be told. To our young allies who risked there lives against those who blocked out the skies. In the dead of the night as it turned to daylight. May peace be with us in our hour of need to stem our enemies greed. While heads of states turn to brass it's tough to forget our past. With family names written on wooden benches. As battle worn trenches hide bones of the buried. So the living can stay alive watching there sons and daughters grow up to get married. So don't hurry your dreams in conquest or loss for our great world is full of hope. With no names on there graves. Just remember those brave lost souls.
This is written for my great grandad William Hill who fought in the great war. Everybody use to call him Will.

The anguish of war
Neil Mcpake May 20
Hauting dreams that turn to nightmares with cold sweats and shouts from your loved ones waking  you up in the night.  Trying to tell yourselves that it was right what you did and it will never be the only fight. In the search for peace you found war watching deathly sights trying to drown your sorrows with whiskey chasers and larger pints. Living memories that hounds your soul without pictures and medals on your wall to painful to see them at all. Badges and berets with stripes on your arms as these courageous men and women go to arms. Making us civilians who don't know the anguish of war free from harm there lies my great uncles charms.
That was for my great uncle who died in the great war. The other two came home.

Savage human beings
Neil Mcpake May 20
Some people have aggressive inordinate feelings about racist human beings. I hope infelicity becomes these savage beings. As they go head first into the light knowing these wicked men and women are not that bright. They will come to regreat there ghastly evil sites. Imimcal to the very nature of who we are making inquity among are police service. As the newspapers print there reruns it shows they never care as life shows that there ways are never fair. If there's careful activism in actuality trying to recreate a better future for us all. Then let these no political human beings guide us through our fight for our rights against the goverment wrongs and the parliament lies in art and songs.
This poem is about my views on racists and how I see the fight against the polical movement.
Neil Mcpake May 19
My pillow fills up with tears of sorrow when I m not lying next to you. My soul would linger in the stars just to see you drive your cars.  I would wait on the moon for you without air just to show you I care. Just to see you once more my love. With visions torrentially pounding on my eyes. I know you would tell me know lies. Then truth be told as you hold my desires. With a uncontrollable fire without solace and malice. My love for you is the only thing that matters to me. So hear my cry as I wash away my fears. In a world without you then this wouldn't be my world because you are my only love.
This poem is about my undying love for my one true love my wife

Ukraine
Neil Mcpake May 18
It wouldn't be strange for king and country to arm every woman and man because without peace there always war. Hidding behind desks and lapils are tortured souls. That makes boy to men making no enemies your friend. Turning homes and parks to battle grounds. With dust, debris, drones and missles in the air.As some of the residents stay because they show they care. God can you tell me why is it that the cilvillians that die living under there Russian governments lies. As they band together as one fearing Russia regime with weapons that are not made of there own. Vertue and honesty is not the presidents fees nor money, gold and oil. So hear my cries even Donald's trump can't hear there soldiers under fire, that's why he needs to ask why? Because with Putin Ukraine will never be free.
Ukraine is about my thoughts about the war and why it should be stopped because Russia's a bully. Via the revolution.

Happyness and pain
Neil Mcpake May 18
In the mist of time I hope our souls meet each other when we die. Floating in the seas of equality. Your love keeps me away from the pits of misery. While I Past the truth there were no lies. Without you my life's never the same. Through happiness and pain. Your love is easy to find because your always on my mind. Yes my darling I'll love you till the end of time.
Happyness and pain is about true love and the quest to keep it.

She freed my mind
Neil Mcpake May 18
She dulled my senses and she freed my mind. With words of wisdom as we loved each other through time. Longing for our ****** desires as our hearts raged with fire. Through cities and towns as are lives were so profound with boundless love. That mapped out our emotions through the stars. Without torture and hate past sunshine and rain. In the future, past and present my love for thy will never change. Even on angel wings as we fly past sin knowing those deviled souls will never win.
This poem signifies my struggle between love and hate.

For my father
Neil Mcpake May 18
There was no spirit dropped as the sunshine glowed before I moured. In the mirror looking back at me I could see a ghostly figure with a fevered brow. The sight I saw was of my father so cold lying so still. If only I could of seen him take his last breathe. Maybe his soul could of stayed a while and I might of  prevented his death. That's was wishful thinking of broken dreams leaving your descendants longing for more. Father, father never forgotten as I woke up on a drunken night brawl. Stil intoxicated then I couldn't walk so I crawled. As I sat on limestone steps even eleven years on its still tough to except your dead. I know you cast no shadow in my heart of hearts there I would of stayed lonely in the shallows if weren't for my wife. Authentic and genuine for all of his memories live on as she calms my rage soothing my mind through thunder and rain. Dad how can there be thoughtful celebrations without so many kind words spoken. Knowing even the strongest of us gets tense. With love from my wife it will always make sense. In worst weathers these memories are never lost. If I didn't have a clue I would be puzzled, perplexed and bemused to mysteries that never bring. Baffled in a world of pure emotions with worldy trade your foot prints to me will never fade. In different places with hidden faces to ashamed. How horrific they treated other races in history. We should never forget the pain and misery this has caused them in this world for there should never have be any slaves. So all of man kind can you promise me one thing I don't wanna hear any more lies. When the tide turns washing over the sands. With **** back whales free from fishing lines. Maybe one day there be helping me and my granddaughter Alana Rose. To show all of my nieces and brothers. Where scorpions roam there were no roads. Leaving behind no poison bones for that was never my home. Now preoccupied in deep thought but never misplaced on land and sea. As I m never in disbelief what my eyes never seen. With lessons to teach us all as we be hold god's grand designs. I miss and love you my father rest in peace.
This poem was written about the struggles I had losing my dad from cancer.  The goodness in my life mixed with the horrible history this world has to offer.

The tides will turn
Neil Mcpake May 17
Calmness is a breeze that can surround our sins for if we lose we surely won't win. As death finds it's own formidable path I shall weep not laugh. When time moves so fast one day my future will be a distant past. While we ride the  storms of indecisions what makes us wise is the experiences in our lives and the choices we make. Each morning I use to wake up and look out my window to see the sunrise while gazing at a solement sky. As I thought to myself what will I see when I die. The tides will turn woe be the hearts of every woman, man and child so please lord. Let it be replaced with just love.
My poem is about some of my life. While exploring my different emotions in god grand designs.

Grass roots football
Neil Mcpake May 17
Do you remember putting down your jumper and top as goal posts on a windy day then it starts to rain, because I do. While you looked up at a cloudy sky without a care in the world and every football pitch from far looked the same, because I do. When you didn't have enough money to buy shin pads and every tackle and kick you felt the pain, because I do. There's was no shame when you played lame. As the opposition scored and you were the only one they blamed. Because you were to injured to train, because I do. Even if you turned professional and you found fame just for the game, just for the love, grass roots football.
This poem is about my football days at school and remembering the friends I played with and the clubs I played for.

— The End —
