love runs off with betrayal

to be loved is the best

dreams take me places
I have swum with the dolphins
the pyramids built.

memories come back
of another time and place
another life lived.

just like the squirrels
the blue jay stores up acorns
rocks in their toolshed.

sets off something in my brain
a chug of pleasure

the night sky patterns
heavenly constellation
