If I were to leave tomorrow,
would you ever remember me?
would you visit my grave -
Is that how you'd remember me?
Or would you turn me
into a poem of yours,
and keep me alive through you?

Like a dream
you came to my life.
Your eyes sparkled like stars
in the dazzling sunlight
as you looked at me.
Your smile, ever so gentle-
Oh, how you smiled at me.
That was the moment
love touched me.

As the day broke,
I took a walk through
the trail in a forest.
The golden rays of the sun
penetrated through the thick canopies.
The soft sound of a cascading brook,
broke the silence of tranquility.
A little walk downwards,
as I followed the sound,
I found
a beautiful waterfall in all its glory
as if it had been waiting for me,
a beautiful, serene picture
to capture in memory.

After breaking everything,
all one can do
is rebuild-
brick by brick.

Time is running out,
the heart is giving up.
What was once loved
will be left behind -
a new journey is about to begin
into the unknown.

You are the Sun
keep shining bright
for all those who
seek your light.

Be their guide,
light up their path.

I was merely a shadow of you
to disappear in the darkness
yet always a part of you
waiting behind the horizon
to hold your hand
when it will be your time to set.

Everyone said:
"Time heals all wounds"
Why then non of my wounds
ever healed?
The truth is-
time cannot stitch
the wounds
that are cut so deep.
It only covers them
with a layer of dust
till the next storm arrives
and carries away the dust
leaving the wounds exposed
to bleed again.
