Before I hit my head
There's was a fog
That hemmed my vision
Myopia
Was my guide
To every poor decision
Since the blow
The mist has cleared
I see so clearly
Panoramic
But still
I lose each bet
Constantly
****
And tragic.

Walk to the edge of the pier
Look down at the
Unreflective
Nature
Of
The sea
And hope
That
There's
Something within
That you can
Talk about
With
Some
Of your family.

When one walks around
The things
All talk about
What is
And what
Cannot be
They
Make sure
The essence
Of what
You are not now
Allows
The things
You used to be.
Mother, if I tried to say,
How sorry I am every day,
No words in all the books I find,
Could speak the sorrow in my mind.

Mother, I have caused you tears,
Each drop a blade that cuts and sears,
It pierces deep within my chest,
A wound that never comes to rest.

If I could see you, I would run,
Faster than the light from sun,
Around this earth to where you are,
No sea too wide, no land too far.

Oh mother dear, I’d cross the sea
Just to have you here with me,
To hold you close, to feel your grace,
To find my home in your embrace.
I miss my mother

There is a thing
You keep grasping at
The idea is hardly new
The notion
We all talk about
The touch
Twixst
Me and you.

When the water
Comes
Above
Your chest
Where the waves
Freely go
You know the
Pressure
Forces
Beneath
Your eyelids
That's when
You've got nowhere to go
Jimmy silker Jul 19
I think you know
What that is
So why would
You go into?

What
You assume
Is the thing
That releases
The new you

Where we would go?
But then again
You presume
Just what we know
The ******
Of course
Is the thing
That is exactly
What we do

Then you know
Just what you are
And the **** we got into
Hardly the best
Of what we care about
Is this thing
That makes you
You?
