About the Author
Yonah Jeong Apr 8
I am Yonah Jeong
My appearances:
Blood, Eyes, Hair, Skin
Soul
Mind
Heart
All are beautiful
Because they are created by Love
I am eating three meals also
I am making three poems
Everyday
And I am breathing because of
Nature and neighbors
When I am fifteen years old
I decided and planned to be
A Poet like a peacemaker
For this society and you
Now I became a poet
Whoever I am
Whatever meets hard work
I must love things given to me
As exactly as possible
If I don't fulfill these promises
It is not my true intention
So I try to make happy my others
Just like myself
Through my poems.

The Endless Lament
Yonah Jeong Apr 7
Endless love
in regret of living too easily
a sigh like an exploding volcano
the lava of tears flowed
swallowing ***** and Gomorrah
their downfall
In the hungry days
the cornbread and the joy of love
came with endless sighs
red carpet was soaked
Your Laments
blocking the Barricade Street
that does not fall alone
is approaching from over there...

The Weeping Children
Yonah Jeong Apr 7
Could not see tomorrows
Could not hear past
Could not say present

They are stripped by tomorrows
They are struck by past
They are arrested by present

Time's all gifts stay beyond the Time
With weeping tunnel
Without lights and lines...

Please
Yonah Jeong Apr 6
always have a broad mind
and a deep heart
if you can only have one
you must have a big heart first
of course
if you can't have both
you're not human.

Politics are the branches, economics are the roots 2. Showing off power is a sign of weakness 3. Food, Clothing, and Shelter is where politics and economics meet 4. Crisis is external strength, prosperity is inner strength 5. Individual and national values are not universal 6. Structure and system are like water 7. Economics drives politics, and politics must move heart 8. Doing your own thing is a witness of weakness 9. Leader must lead with mutual trust, not unilateral fear.
10. Liberation is coming from isolation, not going to isolation.

I Love You

The invisible foundation
The visible building
The building office
The surrounding roads
The surrounding scenery
The surrounding safety
The best
BB, the owner, made sure that
all these things were always the best
He did his best to invest
As the days went by
The building shone
The market price went up
BB felt better
BB had nothing to be afraid of
When he entered the building
When he stayed in the building
When he left the building
The people he met
One or two
Looking away
BB started to look away and ignore it
The building started to empty out
People started to go out and not come in
BB also started to fall.

What is law?
Yonah Jeong Apr 5
at the end of all laws
naturalness

beyond it
there is no law

purpose of law
path to abandonment

beauty of a mountain top
there all beings appear
continuous warmths.

Under Standing
Yonah Jeong Apr 5
in a shaking world
                            to breathe
and look ahead
and see nothing but
forests
          bumping and breaking
in a world where the self is fragmented
to survive
let's bend at the waist
not climb up but stand
                    under and
understand. Understand
that you are not my enemy
                          my friend together
We see listening from the blue blue sky
                              persistently...

Red color
hair
wings
torso
legs
Tail
Even eyes
hot, hot
red colored phoenix
never dies
Myth of Rebirth
But its immortality is copied
Legend not fact
The heart
the soul
thought
All cold and cold
Can't die
and cannot live
Because you can't burn yourself
If the temperature of love is
because there is no
The Phoenix
may die
nor live
the legendary bird
Existing in human imagination
and then you like a bird
powerless Human Phoenix
Big Brother
Also you cannot die
even when trampled
and cannot live.

From the fall of last year
staying together
with a spider web
dancing and approaching
a fallen leaf.

Loves
Yonah Jeong Mar 31
all can't look at yours
shakes of branches of love
it is not visible

a love shows all
from sunset to sunrise

in the clouds a rainbow is a circle

seasons
streams
stars
a love...a tree...a rainbow

we know
they are in the time
of the snow *****

Faith
the power to not be
ruled by
everything
that shakes you

And the other thing
we have to live with it
correctly like him

crossing a traffic light

buried in a ravine
leaning against the Valley hospital window
looking down

No matter how price money
cars are waiting
at a red light
after a while
cars are moving
time is running again
darkness falls
Night comes
lights come on
following the enduring sadness
unable to work
the day will come someday
While thinking
I turn away.

Good Morning
Yonah Jeong Mar 28
On a semicircular table

single orange
Stay with me all night
by the recovering wife

The stem was cut off
and the leaves have withered
but the yellow skin is still

Enduring pain and disappearance
With a quiet voice
I present the day.

Your Hammer
Yonah Jeong Mar 28
Walls of division and anger
hammer sleeping in the basement
so it doesn't rust
Like a duck's ***
May your poem words
waddling around
and walk
let there be
a hammer breaks down a house
but only tear down the walls
and not break the home of house
Sing a song of the crumbling walls
and I hope your party song
to spread far and wide
let us see a new world beyond the walls
following the song
As a duck finds a worm
in the grass and eats them
hatred between people
eat them so be strong
and tear down your walls
It's your hammer, your immunity.

At day-close the walks
Yonah Jeong Mar 26
yellow-spreading
gray-purple clouds
meet the faint smoke flowing
from the chimney
like a watercolor painting of daffodils
At dusk
a bird's wings
raise the wind
entering the gates of night
A light preparing
for dinner
paints the old windows
and comes out
comforting the withered flowers
in the garden.

I don't know how grateful I am

that your parents cared for me

neither overflowing nor lacking

that your parents has loved me

How grateful I am I don't know

I felt bad about it then, but now.
