This love affair I was yet to find,

hopelessly drunk and going in blind

Their hearts begged the heavens for them to meet. But not a single hello came from him or her when they  finally met. Just Silence, shattering hopes of a besought desire fulfilled .

I ache for the serene warmth of your face nestled in my lap, a quiet refuge where time halts, and peace gently carries you into a fervently awaited, contented sleep.

I ask the angels
Why it is that I am awake
But yet solely live in slumbers.

a bird slid into the wind's
bright paths, awoke
the sound of morning, the
only elegant sound. i sprinkled you
you with the roots of the rain and
with a song sweetened by
sunlight and although you were stunted
and your blue-blossom wings were broken,
and the very earth swam in dark
floods of tears, that little piece of
love was a kingdom as reachable
as your hand touching mine.

I want to melt into someone
