No words, can exp re ss, what has happened to my dear friend and his family today,
No words, can describe what I want, to say.
All I can do, is it and pray,
For them, to get through this, and be okay.

No words, can exp re ss,
All, the destr e ss,
I really don’t know, what to say,
After, something like this happens, how do you, find your way?
                                      
To keep going on,
When all you would keep thinking, is how it went so wrong? And why?
Why did no one help her cries?
It’s too late, after another, beautiful soul/person dies.

One too many taken, by this illness, when is enough, enough?
So many out there are finding it tough.
This is going on everywhere,
Around the world, around all of us,
We need to do something, more, somehow, and start making more fuss.

How will we get them to listen to our cries?
Before another beautiful/soul person dies?
Something more needs to be done,
Before someone else loses, another precious loved one.

Why? isn’t this question, continued to be asked? Why?
Too many, people are suffering, can’t you hear their cries?
Too many, people have given up, because it’s too hard for them to seek help, when they have tried.

This illness, is silent, and just too strong,
This has been, going on way, too long.
For this, to be ignored, for another day,
For, my dear friend, and family, I prey.

That something more, will be done,
For the memory, of their precious loved one.
No words can exp re ss,
Their whole life is/has been turned upside down, in such a mess.

This is our cry,
Please don’t, let another beautiful/soul person die.

Often, I ask myself; Why does everyone I love, must leave me?
How, will I ever, set my heart free?

So much pain, to mend from,
And so much time, taken to heel, it is just too long.

To overcome this sorrow,
Take each day, baby steps, as it becomes, a new tomorrow.

Waiting, for that feeling, of sadness, to go,
And, trying to find a way, not to feel, so low.

The thought of you, not being there,
Makes it, so hard, to bear.

You made me, fall for you,
And now, that you have moved on, my heart feels, so blue.

You visited me, each day, and again, at night to say hi,
And now, I must let you go, and say goodbye.

As it is, no longer in my control, that you, will move, somewhere new,
But, know, that you will, be dearly missed, and my heart feels, so blue.

I hope, you find, some new joys, and friends, in your new place,

LOSS OF A PARENT/LOVED ONE

When you have a loss like no other,
By this I mean your dad or mother.
Your support network opens, their arms to you,
And sends you all their love and condolences too.

This is a hard hit to take,
So, in life you then try to make.
A new turn in your journey to come,
And spend more time with those you love, that won’t/don’t take you for a run.

You may even, withdraw for a while,
And no longer, find a reason to smile.
Your heart, is left feeling, continuously empty,
You block out, those emotions, even though, you have/feel plenty.

You don’t want to see or do anything,
And your heart will, for a long time, continue to sting.
You try to keep your mind distracted,
And try to stop your emotions, that are, being sensitively reacted.

As I see, you are lying, there
I remember, all the time, you cared.

It’s hard to see,
Sometimes now, the person, that you, used to be.

Thinking of how life is so unfair,
And of all those times, that you were there.

For us, in so many ways,
No words can describe what I want to say.

To you, for everything that you did do,
For us all, without you, we will all feel blue.

To see you each time,
Trying to keep smiling back at you, to say we are fine.

But to know, that, you are not the same,
To look back, only to see, who you once, use to be, in our memories and family photo frames.

Then, just like that, in a split second gone,
So many years, gone by, slowly, for you, this time, did it feel so long?

You fought, to stay, for us, such a long time,

To remember, how you once were, a good gentleman type fellow.

To watch you, slowly, fade away, in front of us,

We were always, silently praying, that you weren’t in so much pain,

On my last visit, you seemed, a little, brighter,

SOME DAYS-A PURPOSE

Some days, a purpose is so hard to find,
It mostly, really does, just take time.

Some days, it’s just day by day,
Even when things have not gone your way.

Some days will just seem/be blah,
And you will feel like staying in and just saying nah. (No)

Some days, pass by with more time passed,
And often you just won’t feel arsed.

Some days, you may suddenly catch yourself smile,
But you know that, for now, it doesn’t last a long while.

Some days, pass by, each day the same as the last,
Wishing to yourself, that you really wish you weren’t so hurt from/by your past.

Some days you just don’t care at all,
On those days, you go out for some retail shopping at the mall.

Some days, slowly seem to make much more sense, as time goes by,
Some days you just want/feel like you want to cry.

Some days, you wonder when this feeling will go,
You really wish you weren’t feeling this low.

Some days, you know it will just take time,
Some days/ sometimes you realize you’re starting to feel just fine.

Some days, seem to get/become easier than before,

Some days, you find that you have lifted your spirits somehow,

TAX TIME

It’s time for the weekend to sit down and relax,
Then you spring up out of your seat and yell out ‘Oh **** –I forgot to do my tax.’

You start it up -and send through a fax,
And realize your credit card is at the max.

You slowly keep working on filling out your tax,
When you’ve had enough of it –you find any distraction-to finish it-looking down at your legs –realizing that you haven’t yet waxed!

You try not to crack,
And realize there are some details that you still lack.

You reach for the phone to dial for this information,
But straight away get that irritation.

When you hear that automatic lady/man on the other end,
Instead you go out for a wine/coffee with your friend.

The day has then gone by,
And all you can do is leave it for tomorrow –and just let out a huge sigh.

You go to bed praying for a pleasant ‘tax return’ surprise,
You then smack the top of your forehead –knowing that you weren’t that wise.

One year you will learn your lesson – and try to do much better,
And try to be more organized earlier ‘to get your **** together.’
