to catch up with my past
I want to see it all
so I'm not going fast

Morning stroll along the fragrant path towards the chill of the woods
I stop before going further to clear my mind
Too late
My senses have already revealed the future

Such a shame

                    All that weight

                                        On those shoulders

one day I will be
perhaps after a few glasses of malt
as happy and free
as a carrot in orange juice.......with salt

The endless sea stretches and yawns
Turbulence to calm
Emotions
Although not clear
Hope is on the horizon

Posted, delivered, discarded.

watching the watchers
reverse psychopathy
nothing seen
sense of duty
here no evil
sense of humour

descending at the start
to societal expectation
I have to refocus
and understand
this is not the shape of things
escape the boundaries
look within
free real life

Does the path of life scare you

The truth dispenses with the perceived misconception
Time is inescapable

Time is a barrier to progress
It allows procrastination
Major changes take too long
The small things seem more relevant

Where do we hope to be
Always looking to escape
Wanting for something better
Will we grasp it when it comes
Or let it slip through
Ahh
Here comes the wind again
Stirring the sand
Clearing the footprints

Grey tanned faces in the winter of hope
Lasting forever
Dreamt perhaps remote
This life despairs all who come to pass
Knowledge is regression
Time never lasts

If the trees kept growing up to the stars
Would we climb as high as we do today

If the road kept going without any cars
Would we reach a place where we could stay

If the earth turned it's back for the sun to burn
Would the moon wave goodbye and just fly away

These questions and others we have learned
The answers as always we cannot say

He understands much about nothing
For what is so important to know

late evening and the sky reflects my feeling of relaxation
sleep is near and tomorrow will welcome the sun
meanwhile
I think
tiredness is a reality I can control
peace is a destiny I can't

Train at the station
I'm not getting that one
Things seem to be moving too quickly
This great getaway should be a relaxing break
But it's standing room only for the next three hours
I step outside
It's quiet
Calm
All the travellers are away
I think I'll walk a bit and regain my peace

sunshine on the wall makes me smile
even in winter it fights against the oncoming storms
a little piece of joy
a lot like good health
not appreciated enough
our lives are filled with contradictions which is how it should be
it is harder to discover the true meaning if all feelings are known
but just to experience that fleeting moment of brightness
I know there is hope

My direction is simple
Take me to the horizon
Lead me from the gales

How can we fully appreciate our memories
By defining them as good or bad
When the last post plays
Even the sad times
Will remind us of being alive

Moments

Forgotten

Who tells the clock how much time is left ?.....

It seems history repeats itself because no one listens

And don't mention the wind

21st century rebels
Reflecting a faded vision of the past
Creatures with comforts
"civilised society"
The pain
Those stars
Simply dictate

Exploit it
Change happens

Join the movement of individual thought

Pleasure
Guilt
Follow
Lead
Hope
Joy
Suffer
Life
Or
Death

gloomy  
early rise
day unseen until 8.00

break fast
cafe on corner
feel flat

open door to leave
damp air

grey clouds hide
high above

I must continue
I need to reason with this reality
Instructions and rules seem all that is left
Freedom can only be found in dreams
People no longer experience their existence

Are car parks the fat deposits and city centres the bowels
Difficult then to find the brain or the heart in all this detritus.
It must be there somewhere
How else are we controlling this not so free flowing civilisation???
