Blink of an Eye
Life is Blink of an Eye

I was born through time and space
landed in this crazy bright place
furious at light and white beasts
with no faces but ******* and feces.
I lived parts dealt me rich or poor.
      Bully or bullied Methadone *****.
AA and AlAnon LGBTQ and straight.
I always struggled most with weight.
I had visions through time and space
in Hospice in Morphine dreams place
      light's candle abandoned the living
accepting a blink of eye forgiving.

Lust is Raw
Lust is brutal and raw
   heart in a shark's jaw.
   Absolutely pure desire
   humans' procreation fire.
   We devoured us forever
    then found a new lover.

Imposter
I'm an imposter
pretender of me
cannot get closer
but I want to be.
I can't fix it now
just set me free
I don't know how
In dark I can't see.

Life was a huge mistake
turn we should not take
choice we should not make
hearts we always break.

Crawling to Death
It's ugly as mortal sin
as we crawl to our end.
Bette clued me in.
Blood thin as vapor
skin parchment paper
toothless beauty queen
we were so beautiful.
We sing this Hymn.

I never believed in anything
as much as I believed in us.
I'll never forget dog breath.
You taught me how to trust.
You taught me patience and
humility and to be kind when
it wasn't deserved but atone.
I need you more than ever to
show me the way back home.

How to Save a Life?
I don't know how to save a life.
Yours or mine life of any kind.
Fragile hearts will die by knife
cut wrists until they bleed blind.

Throw a final dart
place to live to die.
Final beat of heart,
final kiss goodbye.
Cremate me I learn

Hedonist
I was ****** and drunk at 3am.
My conscience called my phone.
We ****** and never answered.
I crawled back to my quiet womb
with black light in a little room.
I woke in hell's sun naked tomb.

Holy Days
I know I should repent but I
gave that up long ago, like
  candy for Lent. Mortal
  sins have been my savior.
  We bumped Ugly's drunk,
fell in love a week to savor.

Marriage the Crime
Life starts in a **** farm
smelling like day old fish.
The oldest boy with charm
the parents get their wish.

PTSD father's nervous love
nurtures Junior's anxiety.
War hero shot down above
prays for son's sobriety.

I am cruel and I am kind,
hate me most of the time.
Lust is love is just blind.
Marriage the worst crime.

for a breath or two, be real

Flies red eye tonight asleep
for love's sad lost kingdom.

Libido victim of boredom.

Bond Villains
The myriad Bond Villains
made an unholy alliance
wealth bigger than God
built a Laser appliance
to burn America to hell.
Our guns are useless now
only chance is a blue roof
and learning to kowtow.

You are finally facing
demons I left behind.
I am now facing yours
I've always been blind.
Thick as a ******* brick
just following my *****.

Communism
It's huge
melodious centrifuge
stealing rhythm
with no misgiving
from each to give
to each to live
fabulous Commune
a marvelous tune
share our beds
lice in heads
millions die
millions cry
starvation
is salvation.

Love is everywhere
the light is unless

Welcome to America

a stone in my shoe

Whispers at 6 Alcott
I went to 6 Alcott Lane
I grew up joy and pain
For sale after the funeral
Mom and Dad now unreal.
Just sad empty spaces
ghosts call our places
Christmas mornings
Echoes of warnings.

Blue Moon
I rode rails with Kerouac
dragged hearts through
one night bomber flack
full moon of eerie blue.

Willing virgins sacrificed
on altars of sacred Beats
Scream out "Jesus Christ"!
applause from cheap seats.

Jesus Christ
You made vows you broke.
Promised serenity. A joke
without laughter a king
with a crown of thorns
nailed on cross of wood.
We rode the rails for free
from here to the eternity
I can be what I should be.

Addicted
Drugs don't stop
the shaking now
but I still try again
the promises louder
needle full of water
Rehab false slaughter.
He snores and farts in sleep.
Unabashed as we kids creep
looking at Grandpa's books
borrowing them like crooks.
Salinger's Catcher in the Rye.
Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby.
Bronte's Wuthering Heights.
Steinbeck's The Grapes of Wrath.
Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar.
My 100 Night's in the Bar

Drunk God
Too much fools blood to drink
I made monsters to never think.
Mad as a hatter follow the hare
down the rabbit hole if you dare.
A tab of acid and Cheshire Cat
I married a 10 who turned to fat.
Rusted tin man and cowardly lion
Dorothy's world is finally dying.

I shoot up and live death awhile.
I keep dropping dead and come alive
and die again and death holds the

My Fable
Surrounded by all this earthly ****
in my happy hour a Springsteen hit
New York City Serenade takes me
back to my youth where I'm naive.
I'm a nasty fat ghost dead certain
at inevitable confessional curtain
judgement's cards are on the table
thumbs up or down or just a fable?

Wine's Maze

nothing better to do
I fly too close to the sun
then fall back to the Earth
I never die in dream fun
pained morning a rebirth.

Young and Old
Young is easy.
     Old is hard.
     Young knows it all.
     Old knows better.
     Young fears nothing.
     Old fears forgetting.
     Young moves free.
     Old moves tethered.
     Young has parties.
     Old has Irish wakes.
