The bees are buzzing
Honey have you heard
The grass is greener
On the other side

The birds visit
For their seed and fatfood
And there’s a squirrel
Who likes his coconut halves

The sky is red at night
This is shepherd’s delight
It’s peaceful and quiet
In the natural world!

A little bit of sunshine
A little bit of rain
All mixed in with a little bit of rhyme
Add a little bit of music
It would be just divine
A little bit of peace
Would just do me fine
A little bit of laughter
Add a little bit of fun
All mixed together
Completed the recipe
And now it’s all done!

A beautiful feather ink pen
Some gorgeous thick cream paper
You can’t beat them
Write a letter
Of how you feel
With beautiful hand writing
Something real
Beautifully scripted
With thought and feeling
Something to keep
Something to hold
In your hands and feel the love
And read with your eyes and see
How beautiful it is to me!

There are so many beautiful people
Beautiful people with beautiful souls
Beautiful thoughts and beautiful words
With beautiful plans and beautiful goals
Beautiful people who write beautiful poetry!

Poetry is the cake of life
The words are the nourishment
Rich and delicious
As we gently devour
Them, Keeping us fed
Hour by hour,
It’s all in our head
The taste is so good,
A satiety it’s said
Like a nice chocolate pud
Or a sponge cake velvety red
A delicious torte
Or Black Forest gateau
And a glass of port
Words and cake I can devour
Hour by hour!

My favourite food
Is so good
Like smoked salmon and scrambled eggs
A treat

But I also like my fruit and veg
And blackberries off the hedge

A nice big crumpet with butter on
I’m gone
Into oblivion
So delicious

Then the naughtiest come
They fill my tum
Cake and chocolate
Yum yum yum!

From the tip of my fingers to the top of my nose,
My love for you grows and grows!

How much I really love you
And how much I really care
Nobody really knows
It’s between us I suppose!

From the top of my head
To the top of my toes
Everyone knows
I really love you
And I don’t just suppose!
I do actually know!

Power of positivity

The power of positive thinking is positively perfect,
When things start to succeed and everything is successful ,
When you have belief and you believe it will happen ,
And you’re sure it surely will!

Sometimes I think
I'm wading through black ink
Never knowing
What's in front of me
Or where I'm going
The darkness is not showing
Which way I should go
So I'll take the path
Of least resistance
The path I think I know
Or merely where the ink takes me
For my life to grow and grow!

It’s still out there
The sky is like a shroud of white
Some trees are bare
Like the weeping willow

By candle light
The evening draws in
Taking day to night
As the light starts to dim

The sound of silence
Hisses like a snake
Without violence
Night inevitably draws in

The evergreens now look black
The green has gone
The darkness is on its way
End of day has come!

Oh how I love you
But when we disagree
Or you don’t listen to me
I just despair
I know that you care
But I walk away
To cool down and cry
I get over it because our love is strong
So all I ask
Is a simple task
Just listen!

I love the way you look at me
And the way you snug up to me
You are so special to me
Especially when you cuddle me

I love the way you wimpier
When you have a dream
And your little legs are moving
When you’re fast asleep

And when you jump up
When I leave the room
And when I’m trying to brush up
You run off with my broom

I love the way you listen to me
Your head goes side to side
And when I say walkies
You’re ready by my side

My life is mine,
It’s my only life,
This is my life,
And my life is yours!

The love in my life
Of the life of mine,
Is you, is you, is you!

When I sleep
I will rest
But death I shall pause!

And the peace I have got
In my heart of course
Will be yours, yours, yours!

The wisteria has grown
and is wrapping around the garden seat,
I can't wait until the warm summer evenings
to smell the lovely scent,
It reminds me of Cornwall
not that many years ago,
when I walked the beach road  
smelling wisteria as I go.

Life’s not easy
Or Bright and breezy
Cuddly and squeezey
Life’s more sneezy
Hard to pleasey
Often teazey
Constantly wheezey

Life’s quite hard
Often barred
Shown the red card
On your guard
Easily jarred
Some are tarred
Or up the yard!

White shiny teeth
Bright sparkly green eyes
Black velvet coat
Curled up claws
Pointy black ears
He has no fears

Sneaks out at night
Seeking his prey
Crosses the rooves
Both night and day
Hides around corners
Ready to pounce

His long white whiskers
Make him look a samurai
So we called him Sam
The cat on the cam!

I’m so so cold
The chill is pearcing
There’s a shiver inside of me
My skin feels like it’s burning
The door is open
On comes the granny blanket
I’m snuggled up now
But I’m still cold
I feel the cold a creeping
Up and down my skin
I’m afraid to go a sleeping
Afraid of what I’ll let in!

The Wind
Is howling
Like a wolf
The rain
is coming down
in buckets
It's streaming
Down the road
Its cold
Its damp
But why oh why?
It is July!

I’m a busy bee
As you’ll see
Walked the dog
Had a jog
It was nice out but very windy and cool
And as a rule
I pick blackberries enroute for a pie
Even when they start to die
The juice
A truce
All over my hands and face
Messy me as you see
Home what’s more
Mopped the floor
Oh there’s more
Washing in
Dishwasher on
Cleaned out the cat litter
Emptied the bins
For all my sins
And the morning is is only just dawning
Time for a rest
Back to bed with breakfast
Scrambled egg and smoked salmon
Washed down with a cup of tea
That’s me!
Busy bee!

You make me laugh
You make me smile
You go that extra mile
You’re so kind
You’re so sweet
You’re so good to me
You’re my rock
You’re my sanity
You are my everything
You’re everything to me!

I see the moon glistening through the trees
What a beautiful sight
And it’s still actually night
It’s five in the morning
Before the day starts dawning
Everyone and everything is sleeping
It’s quiet, it’s dark, and today it’s wet
Well that’s the scene that I have set
I need more sleep
Or I’ll be in a heap
So back to bed to rest my weary head!

Put on your wings
embrace all your feelings
get ready to fly
and float in the sky
like an angel above
and spread all the love!

I walk the grounds of Newstead Abbey
From where Byron used to live
He fills me full of inspiration
That’s such a joy that we can give
It’s such a beautiful place
And walking is a joy, especially when my Moose I’m with
We walk around the great big pond
And through the gardens too
We visit the Japanese garden and all the other but a few
The house is just magnificent
A joy to see  and walk around
Where Byron’s footsteps
Would have been all around the ground
A wish to walk in his shoes
For his poetry I peruse
And the inspiration I will use
To write my poetry too!

No way
No how
Not now
Not never
Not ever
I have nothing
If I don't have you!

Life is beautiful
The creativity of creatures is amazing
from the insects to the birds to the fish and mammals of the world
The colours and the hues
Big and small
I love them all
Life is amazing
We’ve just got to use our senses
To appreciate what there is
From sight, smell, sound
In the air, on the ground
Everywhere and all around
Life is beautiful!

I’m writing poetry on my throne
You didn’t really want to know that
It’s quiet here
Infact the silence is hissing
Oh that’s my tinnitus
The bulb has blown
So it’s dark
It’s peaceful
It’s cool
It’s quiet
Nice!

Satiation is an eloquent sufficiency amount of food!
So satiation must be good!
It’s good to be satisfied!

Listen to the birds
Tonight They’re exchanging lots of words,
With their beautiful bird song
As the sun slowly goes down and the night is not long
And as the air quickly cools
And the sky gently drools
After a lovely sunny day
And as the night comes near
The bats will appear
Flying tree to tree
Across and in front of me
Then the owl starts to hoot
And it’s baby owlet so cute
starts crying
It needs a feed before it leaves the nest and start flying
Hearing the birds
I have no other words
Other than how beautiful it sure is to listen and hear at this time of year.

In life we chose what road we want to take
Life is how and what you make
There are some pains and then the ache
You can eat and have your cake
And even if you have to fake
Your feeling for another’s sake
Life is your choosing make no mistake!

The sadness in your eyes,
I really don't despise,
When you're really low,
I really truly know,
You say I don't understand,
But my darling somehow, and
Someway I really do!
you think I haven't got a clue,
But I see it is the things you do!
And now you're feeling sad,
Things are really not that bad!

My husband says
Stop eating those sprouts
It’s windy enough outside
Without gusts of wind inside

He goes on to say
Hello brown
Are you coming down
The rest room is this way

And he asks
What’s that odour
I do for tell
It’s the cat

A silent killer
An angry gust
Boy the cat
Must eat some rust

The west got it worst
The wind was really cursed
Damage and destruction
A threat to life they say
Seventy miles per hour
And that was yesterday !

A beautiful white feather floated down
to the ground
Means there’s a spirit somewhere around
It came from an angel I do believe

It’s beautifully fluffy and white
But there were no birds around tonight
I picked it up, it was soft and light
I will keep it, it’s only right!

Some lives are lucky
Some lives are yucky

Some things are great
Some things we hate

Some times are good
Some times are mud

Some ways are easy
Some ways are measly

Some days are Happy
Some days are ******

Some positive
Some negative
Take the rough
With the smooth
There’s nothing to prove!

Eyes sting
Tiredness comes over
Hissing in the ears
I’ve had for years
Time to sleep
Oh no time to rise
Waking up tired
As I sighed
Another day

Give yourself permission to be
Feeling good and being Happy !

It’s your right and so you should
Like seeing the sun shine
And Drinking a glass of wine!

Playing with your favorite hounds!

Power and passion
Peace and perfection is
Pleasure to me

Love and laughter
Daring and being dafter

I wished I could be what I want to be,

I have learnt of ways to help me,

When I met you as I fell in through the door,
You took me under your wing.
And then I wanted more,
