go to bed  •think bemusingly of you
loop (cond) { tomorrow }
I rise in the morning (5am),
jog an 8K  •thinking of you, wash up
drink some flavored, black coffee
watch the morning sun balloon
eat toast while reading a set amount
write my unique and uninteresting analysis
work on half a dozen, odd assignments
walk .8 miles to campus  •thinking of you
team up, with some older, uninteresting guys
interview a focus group, present dataset interpretations
walk .8 miles back to my flat  •thinking of you
eat while reading a set amount
go to bed  •think bemusingly of you
loop (cond) { tomorrow }
I rise in the morning (5am)…

BLT Merriam Webster word of the day challenge 06/22/25:
bemused = confusion, bewildered and somewhat amused.

8k is just 5 miles - they always measure runs in kilometers,
I don't know why.
Pro Israeli President
Donald Trump
To Zelensky your starting
World War 3

Israeli American Trump bombs
Iran

World War 3 starts

Lord Jesus Christ
Is good hopefully
The American economy will
Have to pay.

Lord Jesus Christ I pray for peace and love
But when Israel runs the American government
Israel has more power than the US President
There'll be no peace.
The Book of Revelation
Beware of the false Jews
Who worship the devil.

50,000 American army men will die.
Seriously I am not sure
This uncertain future
Are we this close to the doom
I feel disaster after disaster
And I fear I'll hear next is BOOM!

This close to my place
this close to losing everything
humanity to turn to its end
back to being primitive
it will be back to **** and live
A skill I can not compete in.

The air hangs heavy, thick with dread,
Of untold stories, silently bled.
A ticking clock, a muffled sound,
As ancient fears begin to unbound.
This fragile peace, a thin veneer,
Hides the true chaos drawing near.
I watch the news, a constant stream,
Of broken hopes, a fading dream.

Each headline screams a chilling call,
As shadows lengthen, threatening to enthrall.
The ground beneath us starts to sway,
Will dawn truly break on a brighter day?
For years, they pulled the strings from shadowed rooms,
Whispering chaos into quiet blooms.

They redrew borders, stirred up ancient strife,
A grand design, shaping every life.
The rivers diverted, the forests laid bare,
For profits hidden, beyond all compare.
They thought they mastered the delicate art,
Of playing God, with a calculating heart.
But something shifted, a tremor deep within,
A rising current, where their reign grew thin.
Now it's out of their control,
The nature will take the toll.
And the sun is sunny
side up

with a yoke begging
to be broke

and lapped up with a nice greasy
piece of toast

no rain today because
I said so

what we project is all we will ever be
to those

who  will never take the time
to  really know us
A word painting with a straightforward message.
He drew his sword
I ran away all at once:
I chose to be a coward
than to be dead-

upon another
he thus drew
that person had a gun
and shot him deadly through!
Some hide more
      from their own selves
      than from others
      for reasons
     they can't even fathom-
     such is the mystery
     of the hidden self
     the inexplicable

    beyond the realm
    of science, philosophy
    psychology,  wisdom
   and the metaphysical

    man, the mixture
    of heart and mind
    their lack of consonance :
    the experience
    and the innocence
    the love and the hate
    the joy and the sorrow
    the quest and search
    that ends never-
     the clarity and meaning
    that's hard to gather-
    the gap that's unfilled:
    this is man's blind-spot
    and his dreams unfulfilled
