You may sit and wonder
what do all these words
come to as a sum
as the writer
I would say
it means all
that is left when it is
done
Falling fast asleep
Mind takes off for foreign lands
Dreams and nightmares here
haiku
you write and write until you take off onto your own orbit to await your birth,
death,
or love
- face your gods,
obey like a blind man & say your prayer:
thank you, God, thank you for being so good to me
and blessing me with a certain degree of forgetfulness & ignorance
Watching you
My checks still flush bright red,
Fading into pink. Do you notice
When the vein at the base of my throat
Pulsates with excitement?
Or when my green eyes brighten
And glisten with love?
Do you see me anymore?
i am afraid that
i will live my life
feeling like a half
searching for you
all around

only to find out
you can never be replaced
by anyone on this planet
no matter how i wound
you will always have a place
in my broken heart…

I am lost, so what

can I say? Nothing other --

than that I don't mind.

I’m done with this writing
I keep aiming for perfection
I used to be smiling
Now it’s become an obsession
When I embarked on my voyage
I got infatuated by your charm
And thought you were my final destination
But slowly, when I came closer to you
You made me realize that
You're just another harbor to rest for a while
In this indefinite journey, which has no end..!
