The Left Handed Power

      Don’t let it Happen, no, no
Don’t let this world get to you
Negatively and worry can always be
Defeated by a positive point of view

When darkness falls on the city
And it seems to follow you too
Jesus will be your guiding light
When there’s nothing you can do

A Demons whisper can steal your
Happiness like a thief in the night
A simple suggestion can lead to
Temptation and wrong can feel so right

You’re only human and you can easily
Be found vulnerable in your weakness
But with Jesus you’ll find strength
Despite your flaws and meekness

So just give your heart to Jesus and get
Drenched in his Love & Grace Shower
And you’ll never have to surrender to
The Left Handed Power

Feather Or Brick

          Life it can be light or heavy
You’re the only one who can pick
Troubles can float away or they can
Hold you down, Feather Or Brick

There’s so many mean people
It’s enough to make you sick
You can brush them away or carry them
On your back, Feather Or Brick

Take your addictions and blow them
Away with the wind, habits you can kick
Don’t let them be the reason you fall or
Part of your wall, Feather Or Brick

The Devil is like a Magician
He’s always got a trick,
You can push right through or let it
Stop you in your tracks, Feather Or Brick

Your a candle burning Bright, don’t let
The every day burn you to the wick
Burn it away instead of it smothering
You out, Feather Or Brick

Cerulean Blue

       My mood is Melancholy at best
There’s no words I can use to describe
There’s nothing a Psychiatrist can treat
And no medication a Doctor can prescribe

I know with the comfort of Jesus
That eventually I’ll be okay
I’m where I am in the moment
And for the moment it’s where I’ll stay

We’ve all been there before
Caught in a spiral of everything wrong
Like being in the middle of Summer
But the wind whispers in a cold song

The summer breeze that is meant
To bring you relief from the searing heat
Turns into an Arctic chill that freezes your
Thoughts and sends a message of defeat

The Sun hides behind the clouds though
Its light is still within your view
The sky isn’t dark & grey but more like
In a witch’s tale described as Cerulean Blue

Spurs & Spitfire

     There’s nothing I love more than a
Good Western Movie or good Rock & Roll
Give me the Duke or Clint Eastwood
Or some KISS to feed my soul

I’m a simple man and I absolutely love
Simple pleasures for my joy
I’m a man of sixty three but inside
Still beats is the heart of a boy

So give me Gene Simmons
Who’s known for Spitting Fire
And give me Clint with his squint
& Spurs as a gun for higher

Put them together as foes
Or as partners on a mission for good
Make it a movie like they did in the past
Make it with heart the way they should

I know it’s just a fantasy of mine
Something that only I desire
It would be so great to see Gene Simmons
& Clint Eastwood in Spurs & Spitfire

The Wilted Witch

       She’s a most Evil one
She’s the Devil’s Daughter
She’s got a thirst for blood like a
Dehydrated Athlete has for water

She has a dedicated patience
For hers is a soul eternal
She has a natural curiosity and
Unsuspectingly walks among the Mortal

If you come in contact with her
Make sure you get on her good side
If she feels you’ve crossed her
There’s no where you can hide

Her wrath would be put upon you
Brought from the depths of Hell
You’ll suffer until you die never
Knowing that you’re under a spell

Things will continue to happen as if
Your life was a video game glitch
You’ll never know that you were

Ready For Love

         When You look around
Tell me What You see
We live in a world of people
Just like you and me

You say you live a life filled
With so much pain and sorrow
You tell me you’ve lost faith
For a better world tomorrow

You look at me and you think to
Yourself that we’re worlds apart
You think you’re the only one
To have a broken bleeding heart

I’m telling you that everyone faces
Their own challenges and everyone tries
But inside everyone’s soul hurts
And you know everyone cries

Life is hard it’s filled with good and bad
Like a coin tossed it can be heads or tails
Everyone has their triumphs in life
Inevitable though everyone fails

Everyone of our set backs is just
Another brick in our walls
Everyone’s who’s climbed to success
Had to endure their fair share of falls

I don’t have all the answers
I never claimed to be a wise man
I’m just like you and I struggle too
But I do the best that I can

There’s only one Truth
Everything else is lies
And there’s only one reality
You know everyone dies

Everyone is a sinner and no one
Is as pure as a Snow White Dove
And your healing can only begin
When you’re Ready For Love

Don’t Cry

       I know that you’re hurting
I know that your pain runs deep
You’re consumed by your thoughts
Of revenge so much that you can’t sleep

I know that you’re no stranger to
Darkness so this is nothing new
But Evil never learns the lessons
To never bite the hand that feeds you

You can never let yourself be
Controlled by what you’re thinking of
I beg you my child to keep your
Faith and focus on the power of love

Life is to short to keep hashing over
The same old ground of your past
Life is your most precious gift
And Time it slips away so fast

The Lord Jesus will heal your heart
And in time your pain will fade
If you put your trust into Him and
Make it worth the price he paid

You can take it from me, like you
I’ve definitely felt darkness to the core
Yes the pain that you feel
I too have felt it before

Like me you’ll be able to take the
Poisonous snakes head and to it defang
Believe me when I say you’ll forget
The time when Sorrow sang

The only thing you’ll remember is the
Day to your past you said goodbye
Your pain and darkness will subside
So take a breath and Don’t Cry
