Telling you what to do

...
~
The nature of the sense organs is such that they invariably tend to do what they are tolled not to do. This quality of the senses it is well exploited today in advertisements, on the internet and media. Any headline that starts with “ Don’t ...”
Has the scope of intriguing your senses. After reading the title you ‘ll become very attentive at the content, and you’ll start worrying aimlessly ... This is the most harsh and cruel form of exploitation that is used today to induce mental manipulation and sickness.
The poet is the writer
Many thoughts in his mind
Lay scattered as seeds
To be planted in words
That the birds should eat
The critic is the bird
That savours the fruit
Thus begins the journey
Of the poet and the critic
Together they flourish and thrive
On the tree of poetry
With rhythm and rhyme
The poet and the critic
Just some thoughts

Aer
it was flashes of light
rebounding off of the various mirrors
blinding me, and making me reach towards you.
you were a tall sunflower,
guiding me through the messy roads
mixing your bright pigment with my navy blue
and creating a safe harbour—
a world of colour I never knew.
and we were together in harmony

Stepping into the unknown
I feel a rush of anxiety
My mind urges me to leave
I push ahead,
I try to ignore my thoughts
They return,
Are you sure?
What if you are wrong?
I move forward,
More determined,
Suddenly a wave of courage
and strength arise
I am not alone
I can do this
In this space,
Everything is possible
It's not easy to face our fears or our challenges in life. But each time I do, I expand into my freedom.

Deep or shallow
she's into
swimming pools

sometimes more than she's into me

she can hold her breath for as long
as I may tread within her waters

thalassic
undine
unbidden

this hand of hers stretches out to me

our liberty renew
our gradual sureness

in aquarium
--a place for relating to--

a dive of faith
my lungs fill with the liquidity of her

a soft shorebreak
to the occasional tidal wave

together we ripple the matrimonial surface

i am vulnerable,
stripped back to nothing;
i am a raw and open human nerve with
no way to keep out the world
oh its just how i feel

Our story unfolds
Written on emerald tablets
A few will read through and understand it
Shining like pearls and always holding its glow
How did God ever keep us distant from one another and somehow our hearts led us to one  other
How is it easy for us to connect and talk about life like we grew up together
How far is tomorrow from separating us
It's far and non-existent
How far are your arms when I need a hug
A centimetre or less for you are always close
We confide in one another and our secrets not for the world to hear of
You remind me of a girl I loved in kindergarten
She was an angel like you
An ocean fall of blessings from your wings when you fly above of me
I see you and think of the stars for you are one star in my life
Best friend is like the other version of you
Understands best when the world doesn't
Always ready to take a risk for you
I'm glad I found one

At the end of the day,
I just need something,
Anything,
Inside of me,
To fill the voids,
If it comes in clear baggies,
Or leather jackets,
It matters not,
If it just stays for a while.
