I grew up hidden.
it was easy-
no one really looked.
Mum cut my hair,
to be more like them-
and teachers
shamed my voice
into silence,
before I’d even found
my words.
water laced
with lavender

warm as a teacup

flames flicker
the only light

her favorite
glass is drunk

she sinks slowly
as the day ends

it is her time
to disappear
Once upon an asphalt road, under a starry sky and in the midst of a desert...

I was walking towards infinity...

And then as if from another dimension,
A stranger appeared on a familiar bicycle
With a face veiled like the darkness of the night...
And began to accompany my wandering soul...

We talked of all things that the heavens would permit,
And in a way that our sounds would forever leave behind their stains in the fabric of time...

He was neither a friend nor a foe, neither a kin nor a lover...

He was just  like what a page is for a poet, or a guitar for a musician...

A vessel for the unknown that I was to experience...

Once down the asphalt road under a starry sky...

On my journey towards the infinity...

I was glad atleast my heart was

That I had a stranger for company!
This poem is about a dream I saw...few months ago. And it was pretty weird. How our mind craves for somebody to understand us that sometimes even strangers seem to be enough!
Anyways, Thank you for reading this! :)❤
My sun has set down
Your sun has risen up
My eyes have lost the dawn
and you're happy to break up!

My sun couldn't shine your moon
Your sun makes everything smile,
Yet my tears have made a lagoon
and it will be an ocean in a while!

Suddenly my sky became dark
Your sky is full of bright stars
My love turned into a lark
and I cannot hide its scars!

Now you are a free bird in the sky
I'm a lonely bird on broken wings
No blame, you can go, you can fly
I'll always find your love in the winds!

The hurt you feel is pride.
If this is what you want
I’ll stay silent,
When drunken pain burns the flame,
I’ll find my tears and keep them pure,
You're the love seeker,
Writing will be my best companion,
Like a wolf howling at the moon,
I’m condemned to poetry,
Love will culminate and live forever
In the light of separation!
