मात पिताका सहारा था वो बेटा; अब उन्हें देगा सहारा कौन ?

छोटी सी वोह गुड़िया, कौन खेलेगा उस के साथ ?

वोह भाई बहन कि शादी थी बाकी; कौन पकड़ेगा उनका हाथ ?

हजारों स्वप्न देखे थे उसने; पर अब तो हो गया वो शहीद !

उस शहीद के अरमान कैसे पूरे करेंगे, उसके अपने ? धीरे धीरे कम हो जाएगी भीड़ ।

देश वासियों कुछ ऐसा करें, की शहीद के साथ, उसका परिवार न मरे ।

एक राष्ट्र फंड का करें निर्माण, की शहीद का परिवार जी तो सके, मेहगाई से न डरे ।

HAPPY BIRTHDAY  SHASHNU

When I was a teenager, just a young girl;

Into my hands one  day, a cute little bundle did curl.

Into our lives this baby came; as if a splendid whirl;

Attracting us tremendously; all of us around her, would furl.

Rocking her in a bedsheet; or from our hand her hurl;

To me  she was like my first-born, this baby girl.

She  was  a darling,  to play with,  sheer joy;

For all five of us, she  was a walkie-talkie doll, our toy.

Started we speaking her baby-language, which we did actually enjoy.

Playing silly games with her,  we thoroughly did enjoy;

But to feed her we had to actually plan and ploy.

putting her off to sleep on our rocking chair, singing to her, was real joy.

Sharon,  darling  we wish you a very happy year,  not just a day.

May  God bless you n may you always happy stay ;

May  troubles,  illness  n worries from  you stay away .

May I be able to take you in my arms,  soon one day;

And for this day of reunion happy, to the  kind  Lord, I  pray.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Oh just eighteen she was, when her heart had, on seeing him for the first time, a beat skipped !

Right from that moment, away from her physical self, it had for ever slipped

This Valentine's she was sure glad she would meet her childhood sweetheart;

After years so many; of their college reunion they would both once again be a part

Would he recognise her, when their eyes would meet; for his world must have drastically changed

Half a century had passed ! He must have been busy with his own family, she thought; have I deranged!

Because after they parted, her world to a standstill had come; she still dwelled in the past

That past which had closed all the gates forever, after met they had n kissed goodbye last

Her heart behaved rather erratically now; she was wondering when exactly did it return, when did it come back?

Peeping into the mirror, shocked she was to see herself! This couldn't be her ! She quickly realised, time does not freeze

She wanted to look good, not just good but her best; or he would once again, get a chance to her tease

At last came Valentine's day, her eyes constantly for him searched; then, once again, her heart skipped a beat!

That twinkle in his eyes, that same smile; she immediately knew, it was down right her defeat !

He held out a beautiful half opened rose n asked, "will you please be my Valentine, not just for today, always n forever"

Graciously she accepted n both of them simultaneously said, "it's been fifty years; but true relationships don't sever"

They soon married were; a radiant glow on her face revealed their love n happiness. Everyone said, it was the best reunion

He added, " it's not just a reunion ! after fifty long years, isn't this an ecstatic lovely fusion? "

THIS SUMMER... JUST NOW...

1)) The summer is now really really hot.
The Sun is burning our Earth.
Can we please please please reuse water from our RO s and AC s to give water to the thirsty birds, animals and water our plants.
All this takes just a few minutes. Let's bring some mirth.

2)) Please have some plants that give out oxygen at night, in your bedrooms.
ACs are on and the oxygen level drops; plants like snake plant, spider plant etc give out oxygen; doing this is really, our efforts worth.

हर कोई, इंसान हो या पंखी-प्राणी, सब है वक्त की चलती सुइयोंके आधीन

पर वक्त होता है बहुत शक्तिशाली, पल भर में कर जाता है सब छीन भिन्

छीन गया मेरा जीवन साथी, "अब सीख रही हु जीना अकेला मैं, तुझ बिन"

वक्त तो ज़रूर बदलेगा, पर लाएगा नही वो मेरे लिए, मेरा वो बिछड़ा हुआ मीत;

वो वर्ष, वो घड़ी अब गयी है बदल, सुने है साज़, सुने पड गए मेरे गीत

सुना था, वक्त बिछड़ोको मिलाता है, लेकिन वो ला न सकेगा मेरा बिछड़ा हुआ मीत

जो गुज़र जाता है, वो आता नही; स्वीकारनी पड़ेगी मुझे भी संसारकी यह रीत

मौत एक ऐसी स्थिति है, जिसके सामने, वक्त भी जाता है बुरी तरह से हार

रात के बाद यहाँ दिन नहीं आता, बदल जाते हैं लोक, बदल जाते है हालात, पूरा संसार।

यूह तो सूरज रोज़ निकलेगा, सवेरा भी रोज़ होगा, पर नज़र मेरी, ढूंढती रहेगी उसे, आर पार

क्यों कि जो चला गया, वो लौटेगा कभी नहीं, लाख कर लूँ मैं उसका इंतजार

Love you I most dearly, my flowers wild.

But unlike my Shez, you two are not mild.

She was extremely good n well behaved as a child.

Every thing was properly placed n filed.

Just the opposite these two are; my flowers wild.

Everything is messy; books never piled.

When will I start accepting this bitter fact,  is something wrong with my thinking ?

People  move out, start a normal life, their previously set routine, then why can't I ?

Help me out, teach me how to live without you, and that too a normal life.

People have taken it so casually , little does your absence or presence matter

But for me it's a standstill,  this vacuum,  this gap cannot be filled

Give me please, a lessons few, to reach normalcy, so that I too can live, as people expect of me

O Ahura kind, I know it's rather late,  but change You can our fate.

A BLANK CANVAS

Totally blank is the canvas, when born one is

You paint it, with colours of your choice, the way you please.

Incomplete remain it will if paint it you don't before life does cease.

Some paint it with Earthy colours; some love things bright;

Yet others pastel shades love; those of the sky, or fading Sunlight.

I love colours various, those which Nature depicts, on white.

Paint each one of us must a picture, of our own choice.

Some so beautifully do it; as if speak up it would in it's own voice.

Life is a canvas blank to be painted with strokes n colours of our choice.

Towards mother Nature, we must show our care.

Our contribution in our own small way, with Her share.

It can be huge big or insignificantly small, but it's got to be there.

Let's just do our bit, need there is none, to compare.

Her flora and fauna should be under a human's duty n care.

Rear  Her endangered species, which become have rare.

Each one can at least grow house plants; for this, develop a flare

Save seeds and sow them, wherever you can; a tree a year, is fair.

Save it with your ideas innovative; water is becoming rare.

Work we must, to our debt fulfill and prove that for Her we deeply care.

A healthy concoction to live; is a balance between our body and mind.

Of course physical, emotional, mental all together, combined.

A dash of prayer with Humata, Hukt, Huvareshta will us beautifully bind.

But today, let us a healthy concoction of our very own tea make

With ginger, clove, lemongrass, mint, light black tea make; then some lemon take;

With a spoonful of juice, add honey Beelicious, not the ones artificial or fake.

આમ તો, શક્તિ કહી, પૂજે એને એક તરફ;


પણ આવકાર આપે બિચારીને ઠંડો બરફ.


પાર્વતી, કાળી, લક્ષ્મી, સરસ્વતી, અનેક તારા નામ.


પણ ઘરની નારી નો, નિમ્ન સ્તર નો હોય છે અંજામ.


પુરુષ સમજે પોતાને સર્વપરી; નીચી તોલે નારી ને


શબ્દ બાણો થી વીંધે ક્યાં ઘાયલ કરે એને મારી ને.


એ જ નારી જેની કૂખમાં બિરાજે એ નવ માસ ;


મોટો થઈ, એજ દીકરો, માને આપે અસહ્ય ત્રાસ.


બેન જે એને પ્રેમ થી બાંધે રાખી, ઈચ્છે એનું સુખ ;


ભાભી આવતા મળે જાકારો, અપમાન અને દુઃખ.


બેટીને જનમથી સમજે પરાઈ;  દીકરા કરતાં નિમ્ન સ્તરે ગણે.


દીકરાને ભણાવે ગણાવે તો દિકરી કેમ ના ભણે ?


પત્ની કે વહુ ના તો, બિચારી  ના, થાય બુરા હાલ; 


કામ કરે  દમ બાંધી; પણ મળે ન  એને સાસરિયાં નો વ્હાલ.


નારી દિવસે માંગે નારી ન્યાય અને સન્માન.


એની પોતાની હોવી જોઇએ એક અનોખી ઓળખ; એક નામ.

COMMERCE

Sadly money n influence have taken over the beauty of closeness in relationships.

Commerce today is important very, really proactive; not actual relationships

Modern youth/ children, money respect, more than their parents;

Siblings their spouses love more than their own blood; sad moments !

Daughters-in- law, even call elderly parents- in-law, dustbins;

Most pathetic to watch are such actual daily life scenes

Education should, our humility increase, instead fans it, our ego's fire

Watching all this decline in Your creation; Lord, doesn't it, You ire?

Commerce n science, instead of improving the situation, corrupts our mind

Religion today, commerce promotes n sadly divides mankind.

GRANDPARENTS

(Dedicated to my dearest  Grandparents n Grand- Aunts n uncles.)

Bind Grandparents, their family together, most lovingly,  caringly n painstakingly.

Such a pleasure it was to them visit, during every vacation; which, awaited we, eagerly.

Joy sheer it was,  to run into their arms and get their hugs n kisses; so tenderly

Spoilt us they,  showering their love, with gifts, toys,  sweets; n food cooked deliciously.

Oh those special dishes, mouth watering, tempting, made for us, endearingly.

Riding little bikes, fun games, running around our huge mansion n compound care freely

Spell binding were those fascinating story sessions from Shahnameh, narrated interestingly.

Nanaji's funny story- narration, awaited our family entire, most enthusiastically.

Wonderful memories I hold will,  as long as I live,  n pray for all  of you dears, very lovingly.

फ़ायदा लेना क्या है; कोई इन लोगों से सीखे;

पहले रिश्तेदारी बनाते है; उसे बड़े प्रेमसे निभाते है;

पर जब खत्म हो जाए उनकी मतलब,  पूरा हो जाए काम;

तब दुधमें से मक्खी निकाल कर, उस बिचारी मक्खी को निचोड़ कर, दूध पी जाते है।

हाय रे यह मतलबी जमाना !!!!!

GOOD FRIDAY

Misunderstandings n anger, a great saint killed.

With accusations useless, people Him, ruthlessly grilled

Into his soft flesh, big iron nails they drilled.

But His spirit strong to such attrocities did not yield.

Miscreants happy were that Him they gruesomely killed

Seeing  this, with sorrow n remorse, many hearts were filled.

Died He who taught love n Peace; but fate wasn't sealed.

Seeing Him rise on Easter, his followers were thrilled.

Live they who live for others in our heart; they can never be killed.

આપ્રે બાવાજીઓ ને, બહુ હોય છે, જીભ ના ચટાકા.

નાસતા, ફરસાણ, વડા, સમોસા, કે સુરત ના ફટા કા.

ભેજા, કલેજી, ધાનશાક કવાબ, ધાન દાર ને પાટિઓ;

બધી ચીજો સાથે, ચટણી, સોસ, જામ, મુરબ્બો બી ચાટિઓ.

માટલાનું ઉમ્બર્યું ખાવાની, પીકનીક પર અાવે મઝા
ખાય પી ને બિચારા પેટ ને આપીએ સજા.

થાય ઉમર તેમ ઓછા કરવા જોઈએ જીભ ના ચટાકા

નહિ તો શરીર કરશે બળવો, ખાવા પડશે સપાટા

Sell your soul,  do not to the wicked satan please.

Be ware, dishonesty is actually a  dangerous disease

Remember, very painful and horrid are his payback fees

This money that you now usurp, tomorrow he will,  from you, cease.

You cannot with your dishonest money,  his palms grease;

With fright, with the seething pain, each day,  your agony will increase;

And your short lived so called joy will soon drastically decrease.

May awaken your temptation filled souls, that are given to him, on lease.

Dear ancestors,  Zarathushtra, Ahura n Yazads, help them to rise, please .

In Your loving and caring hands, we rest our case.

Lord kind, seek we Your support, Your helping hand.

Our ego You crushed, the world is again at Your feet.

Today we see humans crying in pain; their chest they beat.
