Salutes aplenty from me, to these souls, brave, daring and bold.

Know I, have these Fauji- families, minds of steel but hearts of pure gold;

But in steel, in iron, these, hearts they somehow, painstakingly mould.

Sadly, very shamefully, some politicians have, to an extent, this Nation sold.

God, please help our  Armed Forces, these brave men and their families. With respect great, I them hold.

Just when I left you for minutes two, after an entire night's stay.

Consoled me, many people, that's usually the way.

One leaves this world, whilst the dearest one is away.

Life goes on, but there's a vacuum somewhere; though I don't say.

In  life,  there is a lot of strife and scars left are plenty;

Some  people have hundreds, lucky ones perhaps suffer few.

Scars emotional, easily affect people, who are very senti.

Scars rarely clean are, like the surgical ones; with  a  scalpel sharp.

Often life gives us shocks rude; n leaves scars  lacerated.

Our jealousy, ego, anger etc give n create mental scars, amongst n within.

Some wounds hidden are,  those we suffer in silence, d conteused ones.  

When dear ones part,  lesions those most painful are, compared to others.

Dawns n dusks are best to see scintillating shades one can absorb if one tries

Nights have shades dark along with the silvery moon shimmering; and those twinkling stars

Sit on the terrace or on a balcony; absorb n assimilate this magic, as if sipping at a bar

Flowers, leaves, trees n branches, watch d shades varied with every breath; nature's beauty enjoy

Wonder I , why people  enjoy curtailing another's growth ;

Or clipping off his wings, because of ego, jealousy or wrath !

Excuses they cook up easily,  making a delicious broth.

Or to drop him; in crystal clear waters,  add dangerously slippery,  soapy froth.

By doing this, harm they someone's career,
his efforts or his  goals;

Their ruthless unconcerned behaviour is saddening, in trying to portray  diamonds as coals.

Ahura,  may I always encourage young or old; any newcomers, to reach their goals;

never ill treating them, or pulling them down, or at  them, poking holes.

Instead,  may I treat them like seedlings that potentially will grow to luxuriant trees

Those trees, that will someday shade provide n give fruits,  flowers n cool breeze.

Try I will to them encourage; to bring out their potential n energy release.

મુરખ માનવીઓ, સ્વાર્થી માનવીઓ  કરી રહ્યા છે આં ધરાનું સત્યાનાશ

એમના તરફથી ફરજની, માલિક મારા, મે તો છોડી દીધી છે બધીજ આશ

ઝાડો રોપવાને બદલે, વાવવાને બદલે કાપી નાખી, કરે છે આં  મુરખ ઓ, આં  ધરાનું સત્યાનાશ

"એક કાપે તો દસ વાવજે", એવું કહેવાય છે, પણઆં માનવ તો કાપતો રહે છે, બની બેફામ

કાશ એ સમજી શકતો હતે એનાં દુષ્કૃત્યો નો, આં ખતરનાક કૃત્યોનો અંજામ

આવતી પેઢીને પ્રાણવાયુના પડશે સાંસા, જેમ કોવિડમાં પડ્યાં હતા હર શેરી માં, ગામે ગામ

વિચારો કૃપયા કરી, માઈલો લાંબી છે આપણી સડકો અને રેલવેની પટરિયો; વાવી શકાય છે ત્યાં ઝાડ

આપણા ખેતરો આજુ બાજુમાંબિ વાવી શકાય અનેક જાતિ પ્રજાતિના ઝાડ; વપરાય થોડોક પહાડ (બિ)

પવનમાં લહેરાતાં, લીલાં છમ ઝાડો, ફળ ફુલ આપશે એનાં માલિકને, એમના કુટુંબને, બની હર
ખેતરની વાડ.

જાગ માનવ, તારાં માટે નહીં, તો તારાં પ્યારા બલુડાઓ માટે તો જાગ; છોડી દે, થોડોક તો સ્વાર્થ

ચાલો આપણે બિ થોડી ભલાઇ કરી લઈએ, ભલે આપણે નથી કોઈક પરમ ભક્ત, કોઇ કૃષ્ણ ના પાર્થ;

પણ આપણે આપણાં વહાલાંઓ માટે કરવાનું છે આં અગત્યનું કૃત્ય, નથી આં કોઇ પરમાર્થ.

On retirement, less becomes your importance ;
Because gone is that chair n those assistants .

Remember we must our limitations now.
Or reminded they will be to you somehow.
Even those close to you are now of you wary.
Soon as possible , they will say a formal sorry.

These are the ways of the world; take them in our stride.
Happens this to most retirees,  world wide.
Keep ourselves busy; earn a little if we can.
Above all, remember to help as many as we possibly can.

seeing that our mind n heart, to our conscience heeds.

In a flower *** small, please do grow small plants on your balcony or room...

It will be wonderful watching it grow, try it, it will give you immense pleasure and satisfaction.

It will help oxygen levels increase in the atmosphere.

If planted in the ground, it will help the water conservation in the land.

Pleeeeeease use water from your RO and AC plants, to water them.

Place small pots of water for birds, wherever you can.

आ गया है याद अनारकली वाला संवाद,  ".... सलीम तुझे मरने नहीं देगा, और हम अनारकली तुझे जीने नहीं देंगे..."
यही कर रही है, हम बुढो के (वरिष्ट कहते है) साथ अपनी सरकार ।
मंहगाई चरणसीमा को छू रही है, खाद्य पदार्थों, दवाइया, मेडिकल इन्शुरन्स, हॉस्पिटल सब कुछ महँगा, उसके ऊपर सारे टैक्स (gst); बढ़ती हुई आयु तो एक श्राप हो गई है।

आयुष्य की डोर हमारे हाथों में नहीं है; पर इज्ज़त की रोटी, इज्ज़त भरा जीवन, यह भी हमसे सरकारने छीन लिया है ।

करे तो कोई क्या करे????????
अगर इज्ज़त से जीना चाहते हैं, तो कैसे जिये????

If I had a temper nasty, people at me, badwords could have hurled;

For OUR SELVES N OUR CHILDREN......

Closer to Nature we must try and live, in a concrete jungle, a corner green build

As huge trees chopped off are, my heart in pain reels

There is so much plastic all around us, can we make OUR BOMBAY N COUNTRY MORE BEAUTIFUL N GREENER

Making holes at the base of plastic containers n bottles, let us grow small plants, put them on our balconies, on staircases n request our young ones to them water.

Bamboo, Money plants grow in water, just change the water every week.

Waste water from Aqua guard R/O can be used this way.

Please involve our children n grandchildren, so that they  come close to Nature and enjoy a sense of pride when they see a life taking shape

Please try and help God, by helping Nature.

કોણે કહું મારા દિલની લાગણી, સાંભળવા માટે કોઇ સંવેદનશીલ જિગર રહયું નથી.

રાધા બિચારી, વિરહમાં તારા, રડી પણ ન શકી, વ્યથા એની, એ જ જાને

મીરાં પોતાના દિલનુ દર્દ કહિ ન શકી, ગિરિધર શિદ થઈ ગયો હતો એકદમ  ચુપ ?

મૌન ક્યાં સુધી જાળવી શકીશ, પીડા ક્યાં સુધી સહી શકીશ; વ્યથાના પણ છે અનેક રંગ રુપ,

હું મારી વ્યથા કોણે કહું, જગ પાષાણ હૃદય નુ છે, પત્થર પર  આંસુ કેમ વહાવું

આં પત્થર દિલ દુનિયામાં મને   સાંભળવા, એક  કોમળ હૃદય ક્યાંથી લાવું?

તું સાંભળ મારી વ્યથા કાન દઈ, ઓ કાન્હા, તને સંભળાવવા હું છું બેતાબ, બોલ ક્યારે  આવું?

સ્વાર્થ ની સગાઈ

સ્વાર્થ ની સગાઈ છે જગમાં, બધી સ્વાર્થ ની છે સગાઈ.

આં દુનિયાં સ્વાર્થમાં છે રંગાઈ, ભઈ સ્વાર્થમાં છે રંગાઈ.

આજકાલ સ્વાર્થ ની સગાઈ સાંધે લોકો;
આપે એ કોઈ નિર્દોષ ને ધોકો.

મતલબ નીકળતા, તું કોણ ને હું કોણ, એવું કહે એ લોકો.

આં મતલબ પરસ્ત દુનિયાંમાં, આવા કિસ્સાઓ, રોજ થાય અનેક.

સરળ શિકાર બને છે બિચારા લોક, જે હોય ભોળા, માયાળુ અને નેક.

પછી આંસુભરી આંખોએ ફરે એ બિચારા, દિલ પર ઉઠાવી ગમ નો બોજ.

આં કહાણીઓ અને કિસ્સાઓ તો હવે થાય છે રોજ રોજ.

આં બધું જોઈ ચૂપકિદી કેમ સાંધી છે તેં; કરતો કેમ નથી કંઈ, ઓ વિધાતા.

તારી ગેહરી ચૂપકીદી નું કારણ શું છે; તને આં પૂછવાનું મન થાય છે, ઓ દાતા.

प्रीत की रीत निराली ओ मनवा प्रीत की रीत निराली;

इस प्रीत के खातिर पी गई मीरा, हस्ते हुए, जहर की प्याली।

इस प्रीत के खातिर प्रेम से सींचे बाग को, थका हुआ माली।

इसी प्रीत ने बनाई कृष्ण राधा की जोड़ी भी गोरी और काली।

उमर प्रीत में प्रीतम की  बड़ी, और प्रियतमा की उम्र बाली।

इसी लिए प्रीत में झुक जाए, फूलों से लदी हुई  नाजुक डाली ।

खुदा की प्रीत में, बेफिक्र हो के सूफी गाये, प्रेम से भरी कव्वाली ।

एक पत्ता बेचारा

ऐसी चली ज़ोरोसे हवा, के पत्ता बिचारा, डालीसे गया टूट

उसका प्रेमभरा, घना रिश्ता, उस पेड़ से सदा के लिए गया छूट

पागल पवन ने, बड़ी बेरहमिसे, उसका सब कुछ लिया लूट

तूफान यह कैसा आया जीवनमें; सब कुछ बिखर गया, सब कुछ गया टूट

बिछड़ कर, टूट कर, अकेला हो कर, तेहनीसे अपनी, वो  गया रूठ

लगा उसे यह सारा संसार है एक मायाजाल, यहाँ सब चीज़े है झूठ

नकाब

बच्चपनमे,सरकस में हमने देखा ही है, जोकरों को; लगाते है वो ढ़ेर सारे नकाब ।

और बच्चों को उनकी करामात प्रदशित कर के, उत्पन करते हैं उनमें अनगिनत ख्वाब ।

पर हमारे निजी जीवन में भी, हमारे असली चेहरे पर होते है, दो या तीन नकाब ।

असली चेहरा हमारा, हम छुपा के रखते है, पर दिख जाती है कभी कभार, हमारी असली झलक !

बाहरवाले देखते है हमारा नकाब, जो पहनके, उन्हे हम दिखाना चाहते है, एक जूठी झलक।

इंसान कितने भी चेहरे  मोहरे बदले; सच्चाई देख सकता है हमारा रब, क्योंकि विशाल है फलक।

लाख छुपाएं हम अपनी असलियत, वो तो देख ही लेता है, भांप ही लेता है हमारी असलियत।

पर्दा कितना भी कीमती और हसीन क्यों न हो, पर रबकी आंखे है तीक्ष्ण, देख लेती है हर किसी की असलियत ।

तो फिर हम इंसान, क्यों पहनते है यह नकाब? शायद दूसरों को पता नहीं चल सके हमारी असलियत ।

(A real story that still continues n is heart breaking. I have tried to portray it in just a few words).

Dread I, getting up every day;

A firing squad I face everyday.

How very scary n  strange it is;

But the firing never does cease.

Reason can be any, real, imaginary or weird;
It's consequences, I have always feared.

Strange it is; in childhood, with maturity I was treated.

In my years of maturity, like a punch bag, I am treated.

Lord how long will this last, I am absolutely tired.

Why is he always in an attack mode,  ired.

Destiny we write, so I have to myself blame.

Levels of oxygen in the atmosphere are decreasing;

Carbon dioxide, and other pollutants obviously increasing.

Trees being chopped off, its numbers are decreasing

Heat and pollution as a result, naturally is increasing.

Sweet water levels, ground water is drastically decreasing

Sea and ocean levels because of melting glaciers is increasing.

Our awareness, the will to grow trees is sadly decreasing;

Lord kind, why is man's indifference to these important life threatening situations increasing ???

આવી પાનખર

પત્તા ઝળવા લાગિયા, આવી જીવન ની પાનખર

કૂણાં પાન, હતાં લીલાં છમ, નાના બાળકો હોય જેવા;

વૃક્ષ થયું ઘટાદાર, જાણે આવ્યું હોય એને યોવન, ફળદ્રુપ એવા.

પક્ષીઓ આવ્યા હવે રેહવા, કોયલ કરે અહીં મીઠા ટહુકા

કળીઓ ખીલી, ફૂલો થયા, માનો પુષ્પ ની ઓઢણી ઓઢેલી નવોઢા !

વસંત ગઈ, સાવન ગયો; હવે આવી પાનખર, એના જીવન માં.

અંગ અંગ દુખવા લાગ્યું, આંખો થઈ ધુંદલી, કમી આવી યોવન માં.

પક્ષીઓ પોતાનો માળો છોડી, ઉડી ગયા દૂર દૂર, પરદેશ.

વૃક્ષ નું બદલાઈ ગયું સ્વરૂપ, કોઈ ને ગમતો નથી આં પહેરવેશ.

એકલું અટૂલું પડી ગયું હવે એ, ન પક્ષી, ન ફૂલ ન પાન

હવે તો જોખમ માં છે એનું અસ્તિત્વ, એનો જાન.

કહે બાપડું મન માં, આવી લાગી મુજ જીવન માં, પાનખર.

હવે ન સાથી ન સંગી, ન બાલુડા, ન ભાઈ બહેન કે વર.

એકલે હાથે તય કરવી પડશે મને હવે, જીવન ની આં ડગર.

WHY


After useless we become, for others, why do we still have to hang on?

Seemingly over is the reason we were here; from the day we were born.

Explain can You O kind Lord please, why are we left lonely and lorn ?

A burden one becomes to children or to kith and kin; when we are all worn (out)

Tell me O Kind  Lord  why are we still here; why do we have to hang on?

Challenge You I do not, but feel sad I do; to patients see in coma for years,

People who were so very useful and in command; now drag on;

Heart breaking it is to see people you adore,  in a sad condition, living on.

Help us all, to our problems understand and conditions bad, please improve.

Enlighten me my  kind Lord,  when tomorrow I wake up in the morn.

A Good Deed Daily

Thousands of containers are used daily to deliver food.

All one needs to do is to make a hole at the bottom, a handful of soil n a seed or a twig to grow small plants and help the Earth to rejuvenate.

Money plants can very easily be grown this way. Why not satisfy our soul this way.

OVERLOOK

Noticed often it has been,  that people some are inconsiderate, very mean.

They understand do not,  feelings tender, of others; sadly this is often seen.

Alas !  to  see another's view, or to overlook a bit,  learnt they have never;

Because consider they,  that there are none like them;   so very clever.

This world of ours,  would be happier, more peaceful, so much better;

Had we, people kind and considerate, instead of these go getters.

A little  tolerance,   and understanding would help maintain calm  n peace.

Their intolerance n remarks unkind , tear a tender heart to bits,  into many a piece.

Let's all learn to understand, be  patient n considerate or at least overlook

Rigid, pompous or hard hearted be not; for find we such people at every  nook.

Time flies, years pass, it's our 41st Roj anniversary today.

We have now turned fat, roly-poly, ugly and grey.

Now the spark in our eyes, dim Is becoming, day by day.

Happen what may, but our friendship n love is here to stay.

Thank you I do, for being a wonderful husband, what else do I say !

May we through thick and thin, good n bad, always together stay.

From its cocoon, soon shall come out this butterfly, n away it will fly

Live we in a rented home, our body, it we call.

Our soul, into our body, God does stall.

Released our soul is, when our body does fall.

This departure or transition, death, we call.

When our body, our home, so lovingly we nurture;

Why can't look after our soul we; n it's future?

Our soul, a diamond is; our most important n real future.

Decorating body parts is like buying expensive
furniture.

Tenancy rights, try to hold we should never.

Think of ourselves we must as souls divine, not bodies clever.

Know we must that our soul from our body, can anytime sever.

Merge it must with the Almighty, for ever and ever.

A black day in the history of our commercial capital Bombay, this was;

Enemity, hatred, jealously, a weird mentality was perhaps the cause

only if we could act after we thought, after we could, for a while pause;

Only if human beings, a little worried would be, about their dreadful consequences;

Their facing God, difficulties they would face in crossing to the other end, those after-death fences.
