From the time, into my life, suddenly came;

Need do not I, any wealth or fame.

All I wish to do is take your name;

And hence with every heartbeat take I your name.

How I very much wish, you too do the same.

Or any circumstances, try to blame.

You are my only love; my childhood flame.

It is no longer puppy love or a game.

Happy he was, when totally ignorant about this fact he was.

Realized he did not; trusted he blindly people because.

When love n trust we, our near ones, we our eyes easily close.

When truth strikes, frustrating n bitter is the blow;

Things turn topsy turvy; suddenly turbulent is the flow.

Overcome one does; n wobbles back, though in a motion slow.

Life thereafter same does not ever remain.

Changes it drastically; smile does one, hiding his pain.

Feels one he is living a life artificial; in a way, insane.

Well, life tough is n very often complicated too.

Live one has to, with a smile when actually he does rue.

If the Sun hot is very, may some woolly clouds soothe you;

Or a huge luxuriant tree, grant you shade aplenty.

In the absence of the Sun, may the Moon light your path.

When thirsty, may a brook, come forward, to quench your thirst.

If sleepy, may a stary night n breeze cool, lull you to bed.

May your path with roses be strewn, minus the thorns.

May angels help you to cross every difficult path.

Brilliant white woolly clouds, shimmering in the Sun

Layers of them, stretching miles long, plying in Heaven.

Pearly white, some silver, and many shades of greys

From azure blue to shimmering gold with the Sun's rays

Fairies, as if in Heaven, are gracefully  afloat.

That's why, from the aircraft, a letter to You, I wrote;

Electricity has many advantages; count we here cannot.

But it creates heat n pollution, which increase should not.

Summer is here n cannot do without A/Cs and fans we, today.

But to use them judiciously, carefully there is a way.

Switching them off immediately is a way simple n great.

Until we return,  to keep them on we shouldn't wait.

Electronic devices produce extra heat, which we try must to reduce.

So help Nature, let us, and many jobs simultaneously fuse.

with the A/C water; grow n water plants; this cool will our Earth

Waste water from RO plants, drink can animals n birds, or use it at the hearth.

With a plate of this water, ice make n under the fan keep.

It will help cooling the room, recycling done can be; just flip

Reusing water, switching off lights, cars, can help to reduce heat

New little innovative ideas introduce, share; n this heat defeat.

JOIN ME in my endeavour important, with a beginning small.

Of his life, she was never a significant part;

Now doesn't know she, how to him forget;

There's nothing left but loneliness, pain n regret.

To forget him, she tries hard, consciously with all her might.

Between her head and heart there is a constant fight.

Realizes she sadly, how can live one; without a heart.

Knows she well, she has lost it to him, who doesn't hold her heart.

A delimma she faces, what to do with her life rest !!

GIVE SENSIBLY

Generous n benevolent if you are, it's simply great.

But spoil do not a poor man's future at any rate.

Alms please do not randomly to beggars give;

Of their future n that of our society, do try to conceive.

Lazy, people become when grants and alms are given.

Promote them instead to business small do, n their bread earn.

Educate them in technical proffesions to carry on work.

Proffesions
like carpentry, farming, plumbing many shirk.

Understand n  teach we must dignity of labour n hard work

Giving alms indiscriminately, them towards begging lures.

Give sensibly, to the poor. Think of various choices

Inculcate business-sense of small scale into them.

Sell they can initially balloons, flowers, combs, little things.

Slowly this selling will bring in profit, and give them wings.

It's entirely upto you now; what you wish, sow you will that seed.

Grow thereafter will roses, or thorny shrubs n weeds.

Lazy  beggars destroy society; please do think before you give.

To buy them pins, or combs or little useful things, a plan I have conceived.

It's in hands yours, what to do; lies this responsibility on your shoulders.

Bridges and walls for their construction, both need boulders.

O man did the Lord create you, to His planet, this Earth ruin ?

Beautiful places lush green, transferred you have into concrete jungles.

Lakes you destroy, rivers, seas, oceans you pollute.

What have you made a paradise like Kashmir into ?

A living hell for beauty n peace- lovers it has now become.

Man, even your own body you disease with bad food, smoke n drugs.

Your tongue sharper than a sword, another's peace destroys.

Your very own mind poison you, with thoughts ugly and harmful.

Hearing all this, I really pity you, sweet little girl;

It is indeed sad to see you alone in a corner, curled.

So many mishaps taken place have, in your small world.

Remember you, I do as a happy go lucky, chirpy young girl;

But unfortunately witness I,  circumstances sad  have unfurled.

Your one sided love, left you emotionally battered.

Then family matters for you, your life tattered n battered.

Faced all this you did bravely, but saw your eyes I, sad, which mattered.

Saw I everyone, to use your goodness; they cunningly catered.

Though yours;  your suffering to them hardly mattered.

Indifferent n callous towards your pain they were, all along.

હરિએ જેમ રક્ષા કરી પ્રહલાદની, તેમ કરજે તું મારી.

ચીર હર બાળા નું સાચવજે તું, મેહરબાની તારી.

લક્ષ્મી બની કૃપા રહે તારી  હર ઘરમાં; વૈભવ રહે ઘર  ઘરમાં.

ક્રૂર શબ્દો છેદી નાખે છે તન મન ને

બાણ કરતાં વધુ દર્દ આપે છે એ દિલ ને

રૂઝાઈ જાય ઘાવ બાણનો, ત્યારે આરામ થાય પછી શરીરને.

પણ વાણીનો ઘા, છેદિ ભેદી નાખે; કોરી નાખે હ્રદય ને.

જીભ છે એક તલવારથી તાકાતવર ઓજાર

એનાથી થઈ શકે ભયંકર ઘા , વારંવાર.

વિચારી ને બોલજો, મીઠાસ ભર્યું બોલજો.

જો તમને સાંભળવા ના ગમે એવા શબ્દ હોય, તો એમને તોળજો.

પછી વાણી ઉચ્ચાર જો, કોમળ હૃદય પર, વાણી ને મરહમ બનાવજો

કરતાં નહિ કોઈ ના કોમળ હૃદય પર ઘા કે વાર

આમાં કૃષ્ણ નો શું વાંક, મીરાં તો પોતે દીવાની હતી.

રાધા બી તો કૃષ્ણ ને જોઈ, ભાન ભૂલી જતી, દીવાની થતી.

બને મસ્તાની થઈ નાચતી ગાતી, રાસ રચતી, એમાં કૃષ્ણ નો શું વાંક ?

હે કાન્હા, પ્રેમી ઓ ના મન હૃદય માં જરા ઝાંક;

પ્રીત ની આં જ રીત છે, પ્રીત એટલે જ દીવાનગી.

આં છે એક જાત ની, મહા- મોટી - માંદગી.

હર દર્દી ચાહે પ્રીતમ નો પ્રેમ અને થોડો રેહમ

એ તો બસ માંગે પ્રીતમ ની ખેર, અને એનો પ્રેમ.

દીવાનગી એવી કે, વરી એમાં બી વસે એક ખુમારી.

FOR OUR CHILDREN

Let's do something important for our children;

This act should give us immense satisfaction.

Bless us will Nature and Mother Earth;

That into our lives will bring a lot of mirth.

Store let us water from the RO plants;

And it use to clean or water plants.

Similarly a lot of water, collect we can from our A/C

To use it for daily cleaning; please this see.

Water from   washing machines too can be used to flush

Builders near seashores should use Sea water to flush.

Remember we don't want our Earth to be without water like the

Annoyed he gets, if our batsman gets out in a zero.

He loves to smash fours or sixes ; I love my little Hero.

Though he is great at speed skating, he loves cricket.

My Lil champ, to go for Nationals is all set.

He is also a chess champ, at level district.

To go further, he needs practise intense n strict.

કાશ ઝાંકી શકતે હું, માનવ ના અંતર મનમાં !!

ઓપરેશન વખતે પોહચી શકાય કોઈના તનમાં;

પણ પહોંચી શકે ન કોઈ માનવ ના મનમાં.

હિપનોસિસ કદાચ આં કરિશ્મો કરી બતાવે

કે માનવ ખુદ પોતે કોઈ એંધાણી જતાવે;

બાકી તો જીભ બોલે કંઈ, આંખો બીજું અને મન ત્રીજું બતાવે.

દાતા, આવી કેવી તારી રચના, કંઈ તો તું કહે !!

મન બિચારું, આમ પીડા ક્યાં તક સહે

ક્યાં તક એ ચુપ રહે; કંઈ ના કહે.

એક સત્ય એ, કે  મન કોઈનું, વાંચી ન શકાય

મન માં ચાલતું હોય એ હોઠો પર લાવી ન શકાય

મન નથી એક પુસ્તક કે ચિત્રપટ જે જોઈ શકાય.

કાશ મન ની અંદર ઝાંકી શકાય

Cherish I those things that prevailed,  an Era ago.

Them I hold close to my heart n wouldn't let them go.

Those values I hold will dearly stay, until my dying day.

Wish, things so drastically wouldn't change from yesterday.

Those games both indoor n outdoor with friends we did play.

With our parents joining us, really made us happy and gay.

Those picnics, long walks, trekking we tremendously enjoyed.

Seeing our Aunts, Uncles, cousins, we actually did rejoice.

Building a stage, performing skits, singing, dancing;

Were so much an integral part of our life; gave us new wings.

Today children almost addicted are to TV, computers n mobiles

No libraries, no story sessions; books now just lie in piles.

Sorry I feel for these modern kids; what will they do ?

Rented we bicycles n on picnics we went. Ask them I, what will you do?

Nature beckons you, climb trees, eat fresh fruits, them pluck.

Run with a doggy or after a hen and hear her cluck-cluck.

Plant some seeds, then them water; joy you will experience immense.

Build some nests for birds, offer them grains, in a bush dense.

THE STRONGEST MUSCLE

Of our bodies, it is the strongest muscle;

If used thoughtlessly, it can create a huge tussle.

Biceps nor triceps;  it's our tongues.

Words can cut through hearts and lungs.

Remember, you may be great at eloquence;

But pause, think, speak, should be the sequence.

Hurt do not another, even if there is a grave cause.

Before you open your ******* mouth, just pause.

Let not anger, pride or ego take over your senses;

Or very bad n dangerous will be the consequences.

It's of utmost importance to use this muscle, with great care.

Once your words are said, to a bullet you can them compare.

So softly, gently, sweetly, we must speak.

Remember we must, never to shout, bark or squeak.

Zoish નો ગોલાવાલો

તારો ગોલવાલો, રાહ નિહાળે છે તારી

પૂછે છે, " આવશે ક્યારે Zoish મારી ?

સાવ સુની પડી ગઈ છે, દુકાન અમારી".

"ગોલા અમારા ચાટી ચાટી Zoish ખાય

ચૂસી ચૂસી ગોલાને, મોઢું એનું લાલ લાલ થાય;"

કહે Zoish બધાંને, "ગોલો તો આમજ ખવાય".

લીલો, પીળો, કાળો, ઓરેન્જ, બ્લુ એને નહિ ફાવે.

બસ ગુલાબ ઍસેન્સ વાળો લાલ, એ લઈ આવે

એને આં એકજ લાલ રંગ નો ગોળો ભાવે.

Zoish કહે, "ગોલા સામે આઈસ્ ક્રીમ નો કોઈ ક્લાસ નહીં;"

કેહતી જાય અને ખાતી જાય; દૂધ અણે દહી.

બહુ ભાવે એને પીવા કોલ્ડ કોકો ને લસી અહીં.

મૂર્ખ થી સંભાળ

ગધેડાને અપાય નહિ જ્ઞાન

પાડાને શીખવાય નહિ વિજ્ઞાન.

પળભરમાં, મૂર્ખ સાથે, પડી શકે સંકટમાં જાન.

કરી નાખે એ તમારી હસતી રમતી જિંદગી વિરાન.

કહે ચાણક્ય, મૂર્ખ ને તું દૂર થી પહેચાન.

મૂર્ખ થી સંભાળ તું, નહીં પણ થશે તારું કચ્ચર ઘાન.

REALISATION

When truth strikes, it often shatters n deeply hurts us.

Our eyes moist become; n people may think it's fuss.

Or from a shock some may suffer, unable to reconcile

Before they can digest n accept, it takes a while.

Stabbed is our heart brutally  n deeply pains our mind;

When discover we, it's our own, whom later, guilty we find.

The mind almost accepts this fact; but the heart reluctant is.

Why is that your own try to hurt you;   why is this on an increase?

Answers the mind, " money, power and social status".

To relationships sever or reduce; different are the apparatus.

Think I, people today suffer from  diseases like indifference n hatered

Often it's our very own, who are shunned, disrespected or betrayed.

Earlier warmth there was in a family, along with togetherness.

Today this is taken over by indifference, ego n utter selfishness.

The earlier we realize this, the better it is for us all;

Into the trap of wicked Ahreman-devil, let's not as a prey fall.

SECOND INNINGS

For a son, life long, I was always pinning

Dark clouds almost always have a silver lining

Thus began my precious second innings.

As a senior batsman, in my second innings I am shining.

A cute grandson into my life has now come.

Along with my granddaughter, they are an awesome twosome.

Of my life the most important part they have become;

Enjoy we whenever for their holidays they come.

Quench they the thirst of being loved

It's simply divine when in my arms they curl curved.

Me, with their unconditional love they have served.

With contentment I thank You Lord, in gratitude, for being dearly deeply loved.

1st April

Luckily today is a holiday at the school;

Or everyone would make you an April fool.

" Ahhh !! Look,  there's a pretty gal in the pool".

Don't look at girls pretty; or at them, whistle n drool.

"But on this day, to fool is almost a rule .

Today to pull another's leg is considered cool ".

હુશિયાર રતી

એક બહુ લુચ્ચી, લાલ લોમડી હતી

એની હતી બસ એક જ ગતી;

એ રોજ મરઘી ચોરી ને ખાઈ જતી.

બિચારી મરઘીઓ એને જોઈ ને ફફરતી.

હતી એક હુશિયાર છોકરી, નામ હતું રતી.

એ રોજ સ્કુલ આવતાં  જતાં, આં સાંભળતી.

રતીની એક નાનકડી રમકડાં ની મરઘી હતી;

એક રાત્રે રતીએ એને રઝળતી મૂકી દીધી હતી.

લુચ્ચી લોમડી ની મરી ગઈ હતી મતી;

એટલે મારી છલાંગ, એને ગળી લીધી, બની એક કસાઈ.

રમકડાં ની મરઘી, હવે ગઈ બરાબર મોહમાં ફસાઈ,

છટ પટાવા લાગી લોમડી, ગળામાં એના, મરઘી ઘસાઈ.

તાડપવા લાગી એ, મરઘી ગળામાં એના જ્યારે ફસાઈ.

મરઘી નો શિકાર કરવા, લોમડી હવે ગભરાઈ.

લુચ્ચી લોમડી હમેશા માટે ભાગી ગઇ; પાછી ન એ કદી દેખાઈ.

May our lives be full of beautiful roses

Scattered in between with colourful poses;

May this sweet scent fill out noses.

Filled with joy; and laughter filled doses.

Most importantly may God grant us the wisdom of Moses.

RIGHT AWAY, LET'S SAY, " I WILL...."

Before filling my plate with food, I will first, it taste.

Make it a point I will, not to heap food, and it waste.

I will respect my food and won't gobble it in haste.

To improve my health, I will chew it to form a fine  paste.

Remember I will, that my stomach is not a bag to dump waste.

TO SAVE WATER, I WILL....

Only take a little drinking water at a time, so that  waste it, I won't.

If there is extra water in my glass, plants I will water. Waste it I won't.

Whilst brushing, bathing or Washing, keep the tap running, I won't.

Reuse waste water from RO and AC plants; waste it I won't.

Tons of water from washing machines can be reused to flush toilets, waste water I won't.

MIRROR IMAGE

Faces we have three; external, internal n for people close.

The one for outsiders, is the one, with a mask you compose.

The other one is where shed off some of the mask; making foes.

The original is your true self; what you actually are.

Your character  is what you are, look within; need there isn't to go far.

If you painstakingly build it; with a seer, my dear, one can be at par.

But slip if you, become you will, your own biggest foe.

Look within or into a mirror, and your true self you will get to know.

Slowly but steadily build your character n be you will, a musk-doe.
