Too many complaints, desires, wants n wishes in one's heart are in;

Sorry about this, but it's only You, in whom one can confide in.

Please, O Ahura, throw them away do not, in a dustbin.

Most people  luxuries, cars, homes wish; some for it, even sin

Smokers for smoke, n drunkards request for whiskey, wine, beer or gin.

Worry You, people do, until the end, till they land in a coffin.

Request You  I, only peace of mind for me and all my kin.

નૈસર્ગિક પ્રેમ.

એક નાનકડા ગામે એક કુટુંબ ફરવા ગયું હતું. સ્વર્ગ જેટલું સુંદર એ ગામ હતું. ત્યાં એક સુંદર કોટેજ માં એ લોક રેહવાના હતા, ગરમીઓ ની છૂટીઓમાં.
નાનકડા ભાઈ ફ્રેહાન અને બેન ઝોઈશએ પોતાના નાનકડા બેગ ગોઠવિયા હતા. યાદ કરી એમના રમકડાં, bat ball બધું મૂકી દીધું હતું.
ગામ આવ્યું એટલે છોકરાઓ ખુશી ખુશી રમવા દોડિયા. ત્યાંના પગી ના બાળકો બી હતાં એટલે એમને મઝા પડી.
ત્યાં ના માળી એ એમને બગીચામાં થતાં ફૂલ અને વૃક્ષો બતાવ્યા. આં જોઈ બંને કહે અમને બી ફૂલ અને વૃક્ષ વાવવાં છે. માળીએ ધીરજથી છોકરાંઓ ને આં સિખાડ્યું. ફ્રેહાને મોગરા ના ફૂલો નો છોડ વાવીઓ.
ઝોઇશને મોટું ઝાડ વાવવું હતું. એ કહે, " દાદા મને તો આંબો વાવવો છે,  ફ્રેહાનને કેરીઓ બહુ ભાવે છે".
માળી દાદા હસીને ને બોલિયા, " ઉતાવળે આંબા ન પાકે", કેરી તો વર્ષો પછી આવશે". તો ઝોઇશ કહે, "હું આં વૃક્ષને પાછી કલકત્તા લઈ જઈશ". આં વાતો ચાલતી હતી ત્યાં એમની મમ્મી શેઝરીન બહાર આવી. એ કહે, " ઝૉઈશ, તું બે ત્રણ વૃક્ષો રોપ, આપણે થોડા સમય પછી ફરી અહીં આવીશું ત્યારે તું આં જોઈ શકીશ, અને એક છોડ કલકત્તા લઈ જઈશું" આમ છોકરાઓ એ ઘણાં બધાં છોડ વાવ્યા, માટી વાળા હાથ લઈ ધમાલ મસ્તી કરી.
એક દિવસ છોકરાઓ , કૉટેજ ની બાજુ જે નદી હતી, એના કિનારે પિકનિક કરતા હતા. ત્યાં અચાનક એક અતિ સુંદર પંખી, ફડફડી ને તૂટી પડ્યું. બધાં ત્યાં ભાગિયાં. જોયું તો એક સુંદર kingfisher, બિચારું વીંધાઈ ને તડપ્તું હતું. માળી એ તરત એને ખોળા મા લઇ તીર કાઢી નાખયું, નદી ના જળ થી એનો ઘાવ સાફ કરિયો. આં જોઈ, છોકરાઓ કહે, આપણે એને ઘર લઈ જયિએ, એટલે પિકનિક અધૂરો રાખી એ લોક ઘરે આવી ગયાં.

Kingfisher, ધીરે ધીરે સારું થયું. હવે છોકરાંઓ નું એ દોસ્ત બની ગયું. માછી પાસે રોજ માછલી ખરીદી એને ખવડાવે. થોડા દિવસો માં એ સંપૂર્ણ રીતે સ્વસ્થ થતાં એ ઉડી ગયું. છોકરાઓ તો જોર જોર થી રડવા લાગ્યા. બહુ દુઃખી થઈ ગયા, એ કેમ આપણને છોડી ચાલી ગયું!
હજી તો મમ્મી સમજાવતી હતી તેટલાં kingfisher પાછું આવ્યુ. આં જોઈ છોકરાંઓ તો તાળી પાડી, નાચવા લાગ્યા. રાજી ના રેડ થઈ ગયા. હવે કિંગફિશર પોતે શિકાર કરે ને સાંજ પડે ત્યારે એમની પાસે આવી જાય.
હવે ફરી નદી કિનારે છોકરાઓ પિકનિક કરવા ગયાં તો એમની નવાઈ વચ્ચે, kingfisher એમને માટે,  માછલી પકડી લાવ્યું. એમને તો બહુ મઝા પડી ગઈ. આવી ગમ્મત એમને કલકત્તા માં ક્યારે આવી ન હતી.

એક દિવસ એલોક વોક પરથી ફરતાં હતાં ત્યારે એમને એક doggie જોઈ, તો જે બિસ્કીટ એ ખાતાં હતાં, એ એને આપી, હવે એ ડોગી ના કુરકુરિયાં હતાં એ નાની ફૌજ પાછળ પડી. ઘરનાં મોટા બધાં ઉપર હતા એટલાંમાં છોકરાઓ એ તો જે ખાવાનુ ટેબલ પર જોયું એ બધું ખવડાવી દીધું. એમની ફૌજ તો પુછડી પટપટાવી બહાર બેસી ગઈ. થોડી વારમાં ઘરનાં બધાં જમવા આવ્યા. જોય તો બધું સફાચટ. છોકરાઓ એ ફૌજ બતાવી કહ્યું અમે એમને બધું ખવડાવી દીધું, બિચારા ભૂખ્યાં હતાં. મારે જમવાનું ફરી એક વખત બનાવવું પડશે ! કહી, મમ્મી બિચારી રસોડામાં ગઈ.
હવે આં ફૌજ તો અહીં રહી પડી. માળી દાદા એ બધાને નવડાવી ધોવડવી ચોખ્ખા ચટ કર્યા. ફ્રેહાન ઝોઈશ ને તો મઝા પડી ગઈ.

હવે વેકેશન પત્વા આવ્યું, કલકત્તા જવાનું હતું. છોકરાઓ તો કહે, અમે આં બધાને લઈ ને જ જઈશું. બહુ રડારોળ થઈ. બહુ સમજાવવા પછી એક એક છોડ અને કિંગફિશર લઈ જવાની મંજૂરી મળી. પણ કિંગફિશર ને નદી કિનારે કેમ મોકલીશું ? એ તો ખોવાઈ જશે ભીડમાં. મમ્મી એ સમજાવ્ય
, એમને બી એમનું ઘર વાહલું હોય, છો એ અહીં રેહતું. ઉદાસી વચ્ચે એ લોકો કાર માં ગોઠવાયા.
કાર થોડી આગળ ગઈ તો જોયું બધાં એમની પાછળ દૌદે છે. હવે શું કરવું ??? આખરે મમ્મી ને ઝૂકવું પડ્યું. કિંગફિશર અને આખી ફૌજ કાર માં ગોઠવાઈ ગઈ, બધાં કલકત્તા માટે રવાના થયા. છોકરાંઓ ની ખુશી નો તો પાર નહિ. મમ્મી ને વળગી ઠેંક્યું બોલતા ગયા આખે રસ્તે.
એક વેકેશન માં જ બહુ શીખવાનું મળ્યું એમને બધાને. હવે એમને કુદરત બહુ વાહલી લાગે છે. હવે મૌલ માં નથી જવા માંગતા, એમની ગેંગ ની સાથે નદી કિનારે જાય છે. એ બંને કુદરત ના ચાહકો બની ગયા છે.
તો ચાલો આપણે બી આપણા બાળકો ને મોબાઇલ નો ચસ્કો છોડાવી કુદરત તરફ વાળીએ.

राधा वियोग में तेरे बहा न सकी आंसु, बस जी रही थी जहर पी के ;

सोच रही थी, क्या करेगी वो तुझ बिन यु, विरह में जी के !

तेरे चाहने वालों को, यूह न तड़पा ओ कान्हा,

तुझे राधा और मीरा के खातिर, वापिस पड़ेगा आना ।

करेंगे नहीं वो तेरे लिए, मुनिवरो जैसा जप तप ;

ऐ मोहन, क्यू दिखती नहीं तुझे प्रेमिजनो की यह तड़प?

वियोग सहना नहीं है आसान, जाती है वियोगिकी जान

और क्यू देखे जाता है तु ; यू बन के अंजान ???

ऐसे,  प्रेमिजन को तड़पाना अच्छी बात नहीं ;

भगवान हो कर, क्या तु कर रहा है बात सही ???

અરે ઓ માનવ

સાચેજ, માનવનો ખુદગરજી માં કોઈ મેળ નથી

દુનિયામાં ખુદગર્જી થી વધારે ખતરનાક કોઈ ખેળ નથી

આં ખુદગરજી જ માનવનો સર્વ નાશ નોતરે છે ;

ઝાડો કાપી, એ પોતાની જ બરબાદી કંડોરી, કોત્રે છે.

ધરતી ઉપર, પ્રાણવાયુ આં રીતે કમ ના કર, ઓ મૂર્ખ માનવ;

બની બેઠો છે તું આં ધરતી માટે, એક જીવતો જાગતો દાનવ.

છોડ આં ખુદગરજી તારી,  તાત્કાલિક ઝાડો વાવ.

લચલચતા બગીચા, વન, ઉપવનો વાવી, આં ધરાને બચાવ.

આંધળો થઈ, પંપાળ ના અહમ અને તારી ગરજ;

છે એક ઇન્સાન તરીકે, આં તારી મહત્વપૂર્ણ ફરજ.

મળશે આશીર્વાદ ધરતી માતાના; થશે વૃદ્ધિ તારી.

ઝાડ પાન રોપી, ફળ ફુલ વાવી, કરીલે સમૃદ્ધિ સ્વની.

શા માટે આં અવસ્થામાં, આટલો બધો ઓહાપો

શાંતિ થી વિતાવવો હતો મને મારો બુઢાપો

શું તું લેય છે પરિક્ષા, મારી શ્રદ્ધા અને સબૂરી ની ?

કે ફાયદો ઉઠાવી રહ્યું છે કોઈ, મારી મજબૂરી ની ?

અસમંજસ અને ગૂંચવાડો છે હૃદય માં ભારી;

દિલો દિમાગ પર ચાલે છે ધારદાર આરી

સદા રક્ષા કરજે તું ઓ પ્યારા ખુદા, અમારી.

આસ્થા સાથે, આવી છું શરણે તમારી .

ચાહ્યા ન બાગ બગીચા, મેહેલો ના ઐશો આરામ;

નથી કરી તારી પાસેથી કોઈ માંગો બેફામ.

બસ સુખ શાંતિ રાખજે બરકરાર

માંગુ હું તન, મન, હૃદય નો પ્યાર અને કરાર

મનની શાંતિ છે મને અતિ વાહલિ; અને હૃદય નો પ્યાર.

काला साया

एक काला साया प्रवेश कर गया, उसके हसते खेलते घरमे ।

पता नहीं चला किसीको तब, क्यों की था वो एक दुल्हन के बेस् में

उस बेटे के लिए तो यह कहावत सच निकली; "शादी या बरबादी"

बस कुछ दिनों में ही छीन गई उस हसते खेलते घरकी आबादी ।

दूल्हे को पूरे वश में कर लिया; फिर आयी देवरों  की बारी ।

ननंद और सास को पहले अलग कर दिया पती से;
बारी बारी;

फिर देवरों पे लगाया निशान; कोशिश रही लगातार जारी ।

कुछ सालोमें, पती को बना दिया गुलाम; हार बिचारे ने मानी

सब हार गए, बिल्कुल अकेला बिचारा हो गया, नगरी थी अनजानी

दूर कहीं जा के खो गया;  मां ने प्राण त्यागे, बहन राखी न बांध पाई ।

काले साये ने उनकी हसी खुशी सब छीन ली; संग उसके वो कालिख लाई ।

दुल्हन के रुप में, खुशी खुशी आया; और फिर, सिर्फ दर्द लाया ।

दुआ कीजिए, कभी कोई घर में आए न ऐसा काला साया ।

Deep down somewhere, I certainly know you exist ;

But asking You question this, I cannot today resist.

That's why Your answer I want; n to get Your reply, I insist.

When You made this world, did You wish happiness n peace ?

Or did You wish Your children to be in pain, anxiety n live in pieces ?

When will peace envelope the world n evil be destroyed or cease ?

How long and why should these difficulties n tensions last ?

CIRCUMSTANCES

CIRCUMSTANCES, OFTEN CHANGE ONE'S FATE.

LIFE, THAT'S WHY,  IS A TEACHER GREAT;

Circumstances ours, us a lot of lessons teach.

Understand only then we, in difficulties, whom to reach.

Distinguish we can from this change; between iron and gold.

During difficulties, fall off the stones n iron; pressure they can't hold.

Or flow away quietly, stealthily, as  do from a body,  some harmful germs.

Whereas the gold n platinum, it's diamonds n precious stones holds firm.

Few, very few people, in need, actually stand by you, as firm as rocks.

In today's commercial world, sweet-talk, in plenty, does sell;

But circumstances, truth reveal; they, lessons of truth, in a way, tell.

Once we know n differentiate between gold n iron; diamonds n stones;

Carefully sieve them out with care great; about this, making no bones.

IF I WERE A MINISTER

If I were a minister, all grants I would immediately discontinue; as this increases laziness.
Instead there would be schemes introduced to build lakes, canals, bridges, and revive, regenerate n grow gardens n FORESTS.

Instead of increasing caste n creed difference, I would promote poor students, who are clever to study by giving free special coaching; but they would have to sign a bond n serve our country. No Quota System should exist as it brings down the standard of our Country, n makes people feel low or high ( discrimination increases)

I would abolish private schools who take donations n tution system I would most certainly, definitely abolish. Deserving students would be given extra coaching with utmost care.

Doctors, Nurses, Engineers should be inculcated to be dedicated, this can happen only when the donation menace ( vice) stops totally.

Every healthy citizen would have to serve the Armed forces compulsorily for 2 years... Every Minister's child included.

I would see that our soldiers would get due respect; after all, they protect us.

The list is rather long, but I would  do all the above on priority basis.

OUR  NAME

We humans love to have, for ourselves, a good name.

Within us there is a burning desire, an everlasting flame.

Everyone wants a good name n some fame.

That's man's nature; but to attain it, we shouldn't play games;

Neither should we, someone else harass or blame.

At times, to protect our ego n image, find we excuses lame;

But think; can we not our qualities good search n enhance the same ???

Work earnestly and honestly to earn that required fame !

Firstly our ego n temper we must properly tame;

An outlook positive create, then endeavour, to earn a name.

With honesty n integrity,  keep burning that everlasting flame.

नदी किनारे, ठंडी हवा में बालकनी में बैठना,

स्टीरियो से, पुराने संगीत के मझे लूटना

लताजी की मीठी तान पे हो जाना दिल का कुर्बान;

जुथिका रॉय, जगनमोहन के गीत छु लेते हैं दिलो जान !!!

तलत, मुकेश, मन्ना दा, हेमंत के नगमे है सुरीले और दिलजीत

और क्या कहने जलोताजी के; प्यारे लगते हैं मोहमद, चित्रा और जगजीत ।

कुछ अंग्रेजी नगर्मे भी छु लेते हैं दिल को, वो भी है मुझे प्यारे ।

कितना सुंदर मेरा कुपर मेनशन था, बिल्कुल नदी के किनारे;

खुला आसमान, डूबता सूरज, खिला हुआ चन्द्र, बड़े दिलकश थे नज़ारे

काश आ जाते फिर से एक बार, वो गुजरे हुए जमाने !!!

બચપણ ની મીઠી યાદો

આજે, એક નાનકડી રોટલી જોઈને આવી બચપણની યાદ

માં બનાવડાવતી હતી પૂરીથીબી નાની રોટલીઓ, ખાધી આજે જે, વર્ષો બાદ.

રંગ બે રંગી આઈસ્ક્રીમ, બરફ ગોળા ખાવાની હતી એક અજબ મઝા;

આમલી, કાચી કેરી ઝાડપર્ થી તોડી, ખાવાની મળતી અમને સજા.

વરસાદમાં ચલાવતાં અમે કાગળ ની હોડીઓ નાની નાની ;

ભરાયેલાં પાણીના ખાબોચિયા માં કૂદવાની મઝા હતી નીરાળી.

ચાર આણા માં મળતા સમોસા, આઈસ્ક્રીમ-સ્ટિક અથવા લેમન ના પીણાં

એક રૂપિયામાં ખાતા રાસબેરીની ૧૦૦ પીપરમિત; વાહ ક્યાં મજેદાર થા વો જીના !

હવે તો બસ આં યાદો ને વાગોળતાં રેહવુ પડે છે; સોહામણી મીઠી યાદ !!

અતિશય મોંઘવારી એ કરી દીધી આં બધી મઝા બરબાદ !

વાહ રે નેતાઓ , વાળ્યું દેશનું નક્ખોડ, નોતર્યું અમારા અરમાનો નું સત્યાનાશ

થાય આં મોંઘવારી નું સત્યાનાશ ; એવી કરું છુ હું સાચા દિલથી આશ .

बोली

बोली ऐसी बोलिए के सुनने वाले को मिले शांति

चलो शुरू करें आजसे क्यों, अभिसे ही यह क्रांति

सोचिए , जरा मनमंथन कीजिए, क्या पसंद करते हैं आप ?

कोयल की कूक मन को लुभाती है ; और कौएकी बोली लगे श्राप।

बोली हो इतनी प्यारी और मधुर, जैसे हो कोई सुरीला गीत

श्रोता के कर्णपट को लगे यह मधुर भक्तिस्वरूप संगीत ।

मीठी बोली देती है मनको शांति और दिल को सुकून

"बस मीठा ही बोलिए"; काश मैं बना पाती ऐसा एक कानून ।

भले नहीं है ऐसा कोई कानून, कोशिश जरूर कीजिए;

फिर आपभी श्रोता बनके लुफ्त इस मधुर बोलीका लीजिए ।

નિશબ્દ  પ્રીત

બહુ માવજત થી, મેં સીંચી પ્રીત ને ;

કોઈ એક અનમોલ ઝાડ ને સીંચે એવી રીતે.

શ્રદ્ધા નું ખાતર, ધીરજ ના જળ થી સીંચી એને;

આંસુ વહાવિયા બેશુમાર એનાપર; પરવાહ ન હતી જેણે.

પણ આવ્યું ન એક બી ફૂલ; સુણી હતી હર ડાળ

બસ પંખેરું બની ફસી એમાં, વીણા કોઈ જાળ .

વેદના સહી અપરંપાર , તો પણ, રહી નિશબ્દ, ચૂપચાપ

હ્રદયના ખૂણે આશા હતી, સમજશે એ આપોઆપ.

મીરાંએ એની આહો ન અને સિસ્કિયો ઢાળી ગીતોમાં.

રાધાએ છુપાવી એને, ગોકુળની સુણી ગલિયોમાં.

નિશબ્દ પ્રીત કર્યા પછી, આમને આમ વર્ષો વીત્યાં

આં પ્રીત માં બધાં પ્રેમીઓ હાર્યા; કોઈ ન જીત્યા.

અનોખો

લાખો તારાઓ મધ્યે ચમકે ચંદરવો એકલો

વિશાળ ગગનમાં રહે સુર્ય એકલો અટૂલો

કરોડો માનવો આં ધરતી ઉપર વસે;

અનેક માં, તું એકલો અનેરો વસે.

યાદ રહે, તું એક માત્ર જ તારા જેવો છે;

બીજો કોઈ નથી તારા જેવો અનોખો.

માટે, બીજા જેવો થવાની કોશિશ કરતો નહિ

એ હરકત કે કોશિશ, નથી તારા માટે સહી.

તુને માલિકે બનાવ્યો છે એક માત્ર અનોખો.

તારી ખૂબીઓ ખોજ, એમને ચમકાવ રોજ રોજ

આં પામવા મેહનત કરવી પડશે તને ઘણી

પછી પોતેજ જોજે ચમકશે તું હીરો, ચંદ્ર, કે સુર્ય બની.

Work hard, with all your might, my dears.

FOCUS

Our concentration n focus often lose we easily

Or lose interest after the initiative movement n do things lazily.

Then move we aimlessly or away from the original, we drift.

Retractors for us, often make this downward movement swift.

So focus ours, lose we mustn't. Remember, never ever.

Concentrate on the movement n to it carry out should be our endeavour.

SO FOLKS FOCUS ON THE FUNDAMENTAL FUNCTION.

When low and depressed I feel, about another person's  behaviour ;

Think I , can a Rose bloom without thorns ? wouldn't that be nature's mistake severe?

If ponder over this I and accept with grace, this grave and bitter fact ;

This immediately helps me to accept that person as a whole, not a version perfect.

Of course the hurt, the emotional trauma persist will; it won't go away;

But the acceptance easier becomes. Believe me, that's a good way.

Besides, there are always people who are uncouth, mean and unkind.

If get along with them you simply cannot or with them you cannot gel or bind;

Because these are matters emotional, not of mind but of heart;

Slowly let go of those relationships; but please amicably part.

Nature perhaps helps me heal, if my outlook I change and improve will.

પૈસાવાળા  પોતાના પૈસાથી, ખરીદી શકે છે સુવિધા

પણ ગરીબ  બિચારા બાપડા ને તો નડે અનેક દુવિધા

સૂતો હોય જ્યારે ગરમી અને મચ્છર માં, ત્યારે વાયરો વાય ઠંડો;

કરજે કાઈક એવું, કે ખુશ રહે એ સીધો સાદો બંદો.

થરથર તી ઠંડીમાં તાપણું સલગાવજે, ને કામળો ઓઢાધજે;

હાડ ગળી ન જાય એના; એને બિચારાને, ઠંડીથી બચાવજે.

પાણી ની અછત લીધે જાન જાય છે ખેડૂતોનાં, વર્ષાનું કરાવજે આગમન.

વણ વિચાર્યે માનવ કાપે છે ઝાડ. હે શક્તિમાન, વધારજે વન- વિસ્તાર.

ગરીબો નો બેલી તું, દાતા તું, એમને તું, પ્રેમપૂર્વક સંભાળજે.

તાકત અને લગન બક્ષી એમને મેહેન્તું અને ઈમાનદાર બનાવજે.

ભલે દૌલતમંદો ભોગવે સુખ સુવિધાઓ અનેક;

કરજે કાઈક એવું કે સુવે ન કોઈ ભૂખ્યું, તરસ્યું.

A KITE
High in the sky, I fly; soaring really really  high.

To stay there,  with all my heart, I sincerely did try.

From up there,  into matters of importance, I tried to pry.

With pride and ego, afloat stayed I, in the vast sky.

Felt I, to Earth stay connected ; after all, why should I ?

To float around, to bloat around, definitely , decided I.

But God, a plan had otherwise.

now my "Karma", made me cry.

Broke the thread that me connected ,so very high.

Pride, disconnected me, leaving me all alone, high n dry.

ROSE BUD

Happy Roj nu Birthday....

A beautiful, fragrant Rose bud gifted I was, from Ahura

Plump, fair, with eyes grey, came this gift, from Mazda.

Nurgesh Aunty gave me this adorable little angel, my bundle of joy !!!

Who is very loving, cute n cuddlesome; my own toy.

She was the first baby in our entire family; truly precious most.

Her eyes grey, volumes spoke; holding her, I would almost boast

Thank You Rose bud, for now gifting me two more lil flowers !!!

When we meet, hold them now tightly in my loving arms I do for hours.

My Rose bud, here's wishing you happinessssss alwaysssss

May all that is best in this world ; for ever, with you,  stays.

Ahura, please grant her a long, healthy,  happy n peaceful life.

May my Rose bud serve our community n Country; helping to reduce its strife.

डरती हूं, पत्थर न बन जाए यह मेरा मोम जैसा दिल

तनहाई और दुख सेह कर हालात बन गए हैं जटिल

प्यार बिना, यह तनहाई बना न दे मुझे बेदिल

सुना है, बिना माया और प्यार के, बनते हैं कातिल

जिंदगी में आगे क्या लिखा है, जानता नहीं कोई

पर हर किसीने है, आशाएं और तम्मनाए संजोई

सुरीले सपनों की एक हसीन दुनिया है बोई

जो मिटने को है, यह देख कर, मैं मोती जैसे आंसु रोई !!!

जब अमावसया का अंधेरा छा रहा है चहू ओर ;

चांद को छुपा दे ऐसे काले बादल, छाए है घनघोर

जब आंधी तूफ़ान मचा रहे हैं जोर जोर से शोर

तब क्या करे यह दिया; उसमे कहां इतना जोर ?

उसे न घमंड है न किसी भी बात का है गुरूर ।

क्या तु मदद करेगा; या देखेगा तमाशा बैठ के दूर

क्या अभी भी चुप रहेगा तु; या भेजेगा कोई हुर

पुकारती हूं आपको तहे दिलसे, ऐ मेरे हुजूर

EMPTY CUPS

A sacrificial goat is the man belonging to middle class.

He is born to suffer the Govt's taxation torture, their "trass".

Squeeze they, every drop of his already pale blood n all his money

Whilst they enjoy with his tax money, all the delicious honey !!!

Pampered are the poor; instead of training them to become worthy;

Because, these masses in return, votes give to the govt. aplenty.

Then its the rich, who increase the prices of their products, to cover up their loss.

Bothered about the world they are not; principles they toss.

The working man's life most miserable is; after tax, receives he only two thirds.

Thereafter he pays taxes on everything except air n his words.

Crushed his life the Govt has, to parasites clothe, house n feed

Helplessly he gets ****** n *******; n is treated like a ****.

Empty will be his cup; after the tax- burden on his broken back !!!

Dreams his, fulfilled never will be, money to spend he will always lack.

Dear Lord,  honesty we know has value little, in today's world;

The dishonest, cushily sit in their comfy A/C homes all curled;

As the salaried middle-class man slogs like a beast of burden

The leaches **** his resources to build assets golden.

WHAT'S LESS PAINFUL

Innocently, earnestly she asked me this, a despaired teenager;

What's more painful, a damaged heart or a broken one ???

I had an answer not. We only treated physical problems.

But her question  disturb me did; n sent me thinking...

Indeed, I thought, a broken heart would trouble someone more !!!

Physical heart problems in most cases have some cure;

Medical, surgical or plasties could help them, to an extent.

A broken heart, had no cure, that I could ever think of !!!

So agreed I with her, n said, "our medical team has remedy none."

She rightly said, "patients wish to live, whereas a broken heart wishes to life shun."

This argument, she downright won.

THAT SHOULDER

Oh I very much miss that shoulder of yours, my darling Mum.

On which I comfort myself could, to an extent some.

Mum, I really miss that ever loving delicate shoulder;

Though so fragile, delicate n weak; it was a strong boulder.

In happiness n sorrow, it was my loving support;

Fragile though, it held my head like a strong fort.

Ma, I miss that shoulder every time I want to cry my heart out.

Today, is one such day Ma; I often suffer from many a bout.

WISHING All KRISHNA BHAKTS A VERY HAPPY JANMASHTMI

મહેકતા ફૂલોની તોરણ ઝૂલે યશોદાના બારણે

નાનાં નંદલાલા, નીંદરમાં મસ્ત થઈ, ઝૂલે પારણે .

ગોપ ગોપીઓ જોવા આવે આં દૃશ્ય વિના કોઈ કારણે.

આજે ફેલાયો છે યશોદા અને નંદના ઘરે આનંદ મંગળ.

ગોપ ગોપીઓ પ્રસન્નતાથી રચે છે ગામમાં રમતગમત ને દંગલ

આજે તો પ્રાણી પક્ષીઓના નાદથી ગૂંજી ઉઠ્યું છે જંગલ.

ખુશી મનાવે છે આખું ગોકુળ ગામ; પધાર્યા છે આજે અહીં તારણહાર

જમનાજી લેહરાય છે; ખુશીઓ ની તરંગ ફેલાઈ છે હવામાં આરપાર.

ચાલોરે સખીઓ વધાવવા કાનહાને; માનવીએ ખુશીઓથી આં તેહવાર.

પૈસા

ભાઈ મારા, પૈસા ની છે ચારે તરફ બોલબાલા

પૈસા હોય તો લાગો તમે, જગને બહુ વાહલા

ઓદ્ધા ખુરસી ને નમે લોક, દૌડે તમારી આગળ પાછળ

પૈસાવાળાઓ ની લંગોટી લાગે એમને વહાલી, હોય જાણે એ માં નું આચળ.

શું થઈ ગયું છે આં જગને ? પૂછે છે તમને "અનાર"

પ્રેમ, સગાઈ, પોતાના વહાલાઓ ને ભૂલી, પૈસાની ગાથા ગાય છે, સંસાર

માન્યું કે આપણાથી પૈસા વગર ડગલું પણ ભરાય નહિ એક ;

પણ શું પૈસા પાછળ ગાંડાની જેમ નાશી, ખોવી દેવાય વિવેક ???

આપજે એટલું ધન મને, કે હાથ ધરવો ન પડે કોઈ આગળ, હે ભગવાન

છે તારા હાથમાં બધું;  જાળવી રાખજે મારું માન સન્માન.

Geush Urvan, to Ahura, Her heart cried out loud.

Demons troubling Her were, together in a crowd.

When Ahura Her pain couldn't see any more;

A beautiful spring day it was, on the sixth day of the year new.

Born was the wise Lord with a smile; as if everything He knew.

Mader Dughduva n Pedar Paurushasp  lucky were indeed;

Born unto them was Vakshr-e-Vakshuran, to evil ****.

Once again we desperately need Your blessings O Zarathushtra.

VERBAL DIARRHOEA

Oh the poor soul, he always tried, to her hurt ;

With his verbal diarrhoea, as he often did blurt !

Honestly I wonder, how can one be so rude n  curt !

How can someone treat another so shabbily, like dirt !

Seems he had a collection huge under his girth;

Or off his pocket pulled out words rude, from his shirt.

A maiden sweet she was, kind, loving n affectionate.

Friendly and cute, the one anyone would love to date.

But today, see her if you do, she is in a pathetic state.

Happiness one cannot anymore see on her face, albeit !

Rude people crush can, a tender loving person's heart n fate.

Please help her to bring back her happiness n change her fate.

વિચાર, ઈશ્વર તરફ કરી તારું મુખ,

ક્યારે મટ સે તારી આં લાલચની ભૂખ ???

લાલચ માનવ ને આપે છે સદા દુઃખ,

હવાઓ તો પળ ભરમાં બદલે છે એમનું રૂખ;

જીવનમાં સદા રહે છે બંને સુખ અને દુઃખ.

એટલું યાદ રાખ, સંતોષ થી જ આવે સુખ.

Can someone think of ideas on how to harvest tons of water that overflow during Monsoons

I practice n preach everyone on how to save water, even the half glass that remains unused....

Then during Monsoons, gates open and tons are wasted....

Can we not build huge big artificial lakes where the water can be siphoned to ???

Please think if it can be diverted to deserts, or empty lakes where the rainfall is scanty.

Please do pour in suggestions.

Difficult times, a lot of important lessons teach us

The true character of people, we come to know thus.

These difficult times are terrifying, almost like a curse

Most difficult n taxing they are, on our wallet or purse

The hospitals n doctors openly man-handle us ;

Emotionally too we are crushed; its indeed a curse.

Lucky we were to have a few, kind n considerate docs n nurse.

Relatives n friends true who are, life then teaches us.

Sweet talks and advise give many, free of cost to us;

But few ready are to actually pitch in n alongside work with us.

Very many things, during these difficulties, life teaches us.

Most importantly, help us these difficulties, whom to trust

Power and money truly corrupt ; they destroy values moral;

These people slowly but steadily eat into the precious coral.
