TALE OF A TREE

Bare I was, because shed I had to, n that's what I sadly did; I shed off most of my leaves

But worry one must not, when in God, Nature, and humanity one firmly believes.

A kind little boy,  his water bottle emptied daily on me, as home he went from school

For him, watering me and another nearby plant was a passion; it almost became a rule

It worried him,  soon, his exams would start, followed by a summer vacation; n I was still bare.

He prayed to  Ahura; "it will soon be Navrooz, may I request You,  to both trees revive; I really about them care"

Look up he would daily, eagerly awaiting to see new, fresh little leaves, with a prayer on his lips

Just days 5 away from Navrooz we are, he thought, as he, his school left; filling his bottle, n taking a few sips.

Wow, lo behold !  what did he just see ! I had tiny little leaves bursting on my branches; all over me !

He looked Heavenward n was thrilled to this see; me, wearing a new garb; this glint of happiness in his little eyes; I loved to see !

ઐ દિલ,
પહેલાં ધકતું હતું તું, પ્રીતમના દર્શન થતાં;
હવે જોર જોર થી ધડકે છે, જ્યારે કષ્ટ થાય ત્યારે,
તું એટલું બધું કેમ્ બદલાઈ ગયું ???

JUST IMAGINE

There is no
need to be under the effect of any drink; Whiskey or gin;

Can you just close your two beautiful eyes and this situation imagine;

Surrounded you are by greenery; an orchard where grow fruits, flowers and vegetables

Filled with this fresh, hand picked fruits and veggies, is your kitchen table.

In every corner, or on centre  tables of the house, your home , there are fresh, sweet smelling flowers!

Sincerely, if this, in reality can happen; I wouldn't mind imagining this; daydreaming of this, for hours!!!

फ़ायदा लेना क्या है; कोई इन लोगों से सीखे;

पहले रिश्तेदारी बनाते है; उसे बड़े प्रेमसे निभाते है;

पर जब खत्म हो जाए उनकी मतलब,  पूरा हो जाए काम;

तब दुधमें से मक्खी निकाल कर, उस बिचारी मक्खी को निचोड़ कर, दूध पी जाते है।

हाय रे यह मतलबी जमाना !!!!!

ऐसे तो कहते है औरत को शक्ति, पर सच में मानते नहीं, देते नहीं उसे सम्मान ।

बहुत से मर्द, उसी शक्ति के उपर, शक्ति जताना, समझते है अपनी शान ।

औरत की सुंदरता पर, वही, शक्ति की युवानी पर, खो देते हैं अपना आपा और ईमान ।

कभी कभी तो बन के दानव, उसे छिनभीन करने के बाद, ले लेते है उसकी जान।

औरत कहो, या नाम दो उसे शक्ति, उसकी मासूमतामें ही, बसती है उसकी इज्जत और आन।

हर लड़की को आदर से देखने का, उसे सम्मान देने का, हर मर्द को भगवान से मिला है फरमान ।

हे शिव पार्वती, आज विमेन्स डे और शिवरात्रि पर, हर शक्श को, हर स्त्री की सुरक्षा करनेका देना वरदान ।

A THOUGHT ON A WOMEN'S DAY

When you are about to use water lavishly, when you are on the brink of wasting it; please do give a thought about those women who walk for miles to get water.

WOMEN'S DAY

Everyone,  including me, is about this talking n discussing, it's all over in media n print

Discussing n women praising; how liberated ! n how much money, she does mint

But sadly,  even today,  many of them live a life, in utter poverty, a fact bitter it is

My maids n their kids, I try to teach; teach them to read n write; but they are really not at ease

Savings, I compel them to make; in a piggy bank; a small amount they have to mandatorily keep

Into details, many other, like anaemia,  sanitation, etc. I would like you to take a peep

A lot more needs to be done; celebrations we educated, perhaps afford, can;

But in reality,  in life actual, should we celebrate this day? Please put yourself there; just be that woman !
