A morning orchard walk,
myself, two dogs and
two following barn cats.
Repeated often, a shared
companionable reverie
of mutual tranquility.
An odd family of sorts,
devotion comes is many forms.
Remembering four beloved
animal friends, all departed
now. But never forgotten.
And lovely sunny days spent
with them.

Become a (wo)man of peace
help the world, be content,
it isn’t up to governments.

Celebrate your free heart
in grateful virtue and
with modest speech.

Soothe the ever angry,
invite them in and dare trust;
be proud equals not at odds.

With new friends welcome,
double joys by sharing,
save the planet by being happy
i like to watch the moon in the midnight sky
clouds like sheets of silk as they go floating bye
stars they spread around twinkling so bright
shining all together lighting up the night

everything so peaceful as calm as calm can be
with the midnight breeze blowing wild and free
a lovely peace of nature that makes the world feel right
with the moon  above lighting up the night
