and I am
but a whisper

to listen
to your prayers
and calm

and walk
with you

with great
pride on
this day.

be the love

and I will
find you
and rejoice
at your

till time

die alone  in
their celestial
light...

I will

I finally

called her,

the moment

stopped

me dead

in my tracks..

I thought

how did

we ever

get to here.

in a million years

I could not

retrace

my steps.

but then in

a moment

of truth.

I abandoned

my foolish

pride.

and she

let me

walk back

into her

life,

and inside

a piece of me

felt whole

again.

adolescent

father,

to finally

find  his

way home.

Runaway and
bury your body
under me
in the rain,

and lick
and quench
your thirst off
heaven's  water
running
off of
my neck

and memorize our
kisses deep
and wet,

until you
are unable
to feel
the rain
anymore

and our tongues
become weak
from full
pleasure,

then tell
me your
secrets and
show me
all of
your secret
places in
the dark,

and sing
to me
your cardinal
sighs and
moans of
love.

show me
everything,
hold nothing
back,

this is
the moment
that the
universe
has made us
perfect for.

like the sun
raising over
the horizon.

My dreams
see all
of the
spaces inside
you,

and my
thoughts rejoice
in every
thought of
you that
they find.

your eyes
full of
stars.

and your
whispers of
moments
that seem
to last
forever
in your
smile.

and each
morning
I am
the greater

of you.

evening
when you
leave I

that the

something
less.

My eyes fall
willing to you,

like a small child
finding grace.

you touch
me in the places
that long
ago have
been broken,

Places inside me
grown weary
and vacant
from hope
or salvation.

and then the sun
comes each day
within your smile,

and joy comes
with the
sound of
your angelic
voice.

and as I hear it
echo throughout
my day,

it moves me

lies

unanswered.

I know
there is a
sadness in
your loveliness,

and that
sometimes
you reach out
into the night
hoping your
dreams
might last
forever
but you know
that they
never will.

and some
nights
my body rests
back to
back with
yours and we
talk
long
deep
into the night.

we have become
best of  friends
through
the blessing
and falls
of time.

and in
your eyes
I have
found the
greatest peace
that I have
ever known.

and sitting
under exploding stars
tonight ,
I can
feel everything
inside me
so much
more.

perhaps it
was our
first kiss
so simple and
perfect.

that we
knew

and we
never said
a word,

and everything
in our
hearts got
rearranged,

and from
that one moment
that we met
under  the
universe.

the night

it set us free.

Everything in
this moment
begins to
form around
your eyes,

like a child
before Christmas
or a
birds trembling
at first flight.

you bring
anticipation
to this moment
and the next.

and the
sunlight
jumps in
sparks from
your tangled
angel hair,

and if
not for
the eternity
of you,

this life
would hardly
be worth
living,

and your
smile is
without
explanation
and everything
that you
are is
a miracle to
everyone who
is around
you.

for now
I have been
caught in the
glimpse of
you and now I
understand.

you are
a gypsy on
the wind,

whose soul
runs restlessly
wild

and though
your stay
may be short.

to not live
these moments
with you
at all,

would certainly
of been the
definition
of a poet's heart
broken in
two.

and I
don't know
if I ever
could of
handled
that.
