things,

messenger
of skeleton
words.

a thrower
of bricks
through
the  looking
glass window.

and for
a moment
I lost
all-purpose.

I was
there
you were
there,

and we
were a
great gift
to one
another
that no one
else could
see.

and I
was looking
at you,

and suddenly
you knew
and I knew,

and God
touched
us with
a great truth,

and suddenly
my whole
universe was
right with
you there.

this day.



nothing

left in

my old

jean pockets,



only a

point

of view

you,



and it is

as soothing

as a

summer

california

sun upon

my body,



and as

holy

as a

sermon

from my

sunday

church.



I kick

off my

shoes

and run

my feet

through

this park's

uncut grass,



I am

certain

some where

in Carolina

that you

must be

doing the

same,



then I

pause

look up

at the

clouds,



and I

wish upon

them to

myself.



please one

of you

take me

to where

you are.,



but only

silence

greets me

as they

pass from

view.



and I am

left behind

once again.

day

and this

point of

view of

rainbows

of life

never to

pretend.


and we

swim in

the seas

chasing are

dreams to

effortlessly,


much like

a mother

breast

feeding

born babe.

dreams for

deep and

quench my

thirst,


as the

rainbows

bend and

leap into

for only

and pray
