I can
remember
everything
about the
last time
I witnessed
your smile.

and if
you could
see how
beautiful
the memory
is,

you would
realize
like me
that there
is never
a "was"
to a
moment
spent
with you.

it lingers
and sings
to me,

to reveal
all of
it's secrets,

and though
I might
meet it
now with
empty
pockets
of fate.

your face
is something
I always
carry with
me,

in deep
breaths
and tender
offerings,

in  true
definition
of what

a woman
can do
to your

soul.

Moments passing

the capture

of God's light

the sensual
touch
of your
lips exploring
my neck

the deep
kisses
and tender
embraces

to one

begin our
day.

such
are my
daily
moments
passing
with you.

perfect in
every
form,

the tidings
and giving
of pieces
of one another

to only
each other's
keeping.

the whispering
of secrets
the yearnings
of physical
touch.

where  nothing
goes
unanswered

in our
promises
of love
and intimacy
throughout
our days
and nights.

where your
soul
is my
hearts
pillow

for
which I
lay my
dreams
upon,

and your
spirit
is my
river for
which
I flow
through

We find
each other
not in
the calendar
of days
or a tiding
of waves.

you and I.

instead
we are
glimpses
to one
another,

echoes of
smiles
given
long
ago.

a childhood
memory
perhaps.

a cookie
shared
over giggles
at a
third
grade
lunch table.

the scribbling
of phone
numbers
on a
warn junior high
notebook.

that is
why
I know
you here.

we are
not
new.

we are
similar
places
to one
another.

like the
humming
bird,

that hovers
over a
summer flower
for a
moment,

lands
and then
is gone.

to never
forget
that one
flower

again.

but to
always
dream

of that

brief moment

when the

two were

one in life.

To look
at you

is catching
a glimpse
of paradise
in a
bottle.

the sharp
angles
of your
face,

defining
me with
a turn
of your
head.

and I
always
trust
your smile,

like falling
from
the sky
without
wings.

I know
you will
always
be there.

to rise
me up
to see
your face
again.

in this
paradise
of a
moment
with you.

that now
my life is
built
upon.

and  between
a blink
of your
eyes,

I fall
again.

Basking in
love's

sheltered
bliss,

you and I
open vessels,

of time"s
seeping
sand

dropping
south.

sunset colors

on the

horizon line,

smeared by

a careless
child's hand
at play.

we begin.

to count
down the
minutes.

to exhale
the breaths
that nurture
us,

and
give us
life.

love becomes
our devotion

our loss
of it,

the bleeding

of our
opened
hearts..

time
almost
done.

there is a
bounty
to be
paid.

by all
who have
not
welcomed
it.

by those
who did
not dance,

in awe..

Tangled
conversations
between us,

cage the
indigo tiger
in your eyes,

send it
back
to hell.

wash our
souls
with honey

from ripe blossoms
from under this
black salt and
pepper sky.

my rights
over your
wrongs.

immovable
objects
crashing

trying to

draw new first

blood with

every word said

tearing old

wounds.

and all of
the while
we have
been alone.

we have
been together.

I will
never lose
sight of
you.

candy shop
eyes,

your full breast
pillow chest
between
my face.

even in
our open
wound
differences,

I will
never
get
enough
of you.

and I

know I am

destined

to starve

and I will

starve.......

in whatever

love might

come.

The sigh
of your angel
breath.

the deep
reflection
of your
universal
eyes.

and then
the quiet
gentle
surrender,

of my
open
soul
to you.

to that
place
that is
calm
and safe
and warm.

timeless
in
it's
presence.

rolling
and full
like
a Pacific
ocean
wave.

and all
that
is in
this moment
is the
promise
of your
smile.

and the
beating
of your
heart.

and the
treasure
that is
rich
and pure.

your friendship
and sky.

naked to
my eyes.

morning thought

and our
quiet whispers
shared have
no meaning
but to
the two
of us.,

like the
celestial
beating of
the tide
to the shore.
when
no one else
is noticing,

you rest
in my
thoughts
giving me
peace of
mind.lying
across me
like sunlight
on flowers,

or stars on
a sleepy
night. and
my dreams
move through
you in
depth and
intimacy like
seeds yearning
to break
spring ground,

I to you
the eternal sun.

you a blossom
of love for
the offering.

It is

sharing your

whispers

late at

night ,

and then you

turning softly

to kiss and

lick my

neck,

that in my

day  I day dream

the best.

the taste  of

you on

my lips,

as I journey

through my

day,

it is what

I can't let

go of,

even for

a moments

breath.

and when

I look up

at the

sky,

I always set

my bearing

to where

you are.

I am never

truly lost.

I am

but a

moment

from your

kiss again.

and I

am home.

your breath
your

of the universe
inside

questions lie
unanswered,

thoughts
fall to
you.

and my
open
hand
reaches
for you.

and the
crimson
color of
dusk
turns
to ash,

and star
gates
hide
in the
deepest
parts
of space.

where
your dreams
lie

and my
thoughts
and dreams
lie
with you.

unashamed
only
pure
in touch.

sun only
rises

it knows
to where
you
are.
