grocery
store.

honored
witnesses
of our
children
growing
old
before
our eyes.

lying naked
exhausted
to all
hours on
a Sunday
afternoon.

taste
of you
always
on my
lips.

a prayer
for
you
always
upon
my heart.

and the
rhythm
of my days
is the
movement
of your
breath,

and ordinary
is not
a place
for us.

and forever
is always
our Heavenly
Father's
gift of

this one
moment

that I
share
with you.

witness

entwined
