Walking by the seashore
in the beautiful sunshine
wind blowing & more
making everything fine.

reflecting off the sky

like looking at the sun
seeing the sweat pour.
The sun shone brightly
making this love hot
holding you tightly
knowing each other we've got.
See the water flowing
flowing down the stream
our love is growing

Hearing the rain
hit on the window
and on the windowpane
making an echo.
It's a lovely sound
like a beating of a drum
knowing it can be loud
Heaven is where it's coming from.
When  you hear it hit
you know it's here
soon it will quit
the sun or moon will appear.
Rain is making the flowers grow
and cooler weather too
yes you'll see it go
because it's done & through.
So you'll be able to lie down
once it's done & gone
then you won't hear a sound
means it has moved on.

The day of Independence Day
With the rockets in the sky
Celebrate it in every way
Watching the fireworks fly.
Honoring our number one flag
been with us since day one
We've got the right to brag
served its purpose when we won
Always pledge allegiance
to the flag that's ours
because of its elegance
it waved for so many hours.
Fought the war
land and sea
We conquered more
so freedom can be.
Though many had died
to save our country
Many did survive
their bravery for you & me.
Bombs bursting in the air
exploding in the skies
Our flag was still there
waves but never dies.
Except with pride
all the stripes & stars
Yes, we're satisfied
for we won all wars.

ever since the last time
I heard your name
even gave you my last dime.
Then you left me on my own
didn't tell me where you were
knew that I'd be alone
showed that you didn't care.
You didn't look my way
walked right on by
had nothing to say
not even say hi.
Then I saw you again
approached you & said
what happened to you then
gave me a kiss on the forehead.
Yet I saw a smile
as you took my hand quote
