the arrow found its mark
pierced chamber'd heart
then another spear
was ****** from ear to ear

in agony he fell
no tongue to talk to tell
hovering o'er hell
he hears the soundless knell

staring at death
lying in gutter
with final breath
he gives final utter

spirit aflutter
blood a-splutter
a whisper, intimate,
to all-loving Infinite

forgive them for they know not
they know not what they do
they're held in clasp of despot
who tells them what to do

they're like a newborn baby
with bairn's transient innocence
afflicted with the rabies
as the madman's ignorance

then as blood drained away
he took the higher road
he took his leave from form of clay
and entered new abode

WILLIAM WORTHLESS
when your temper begins to flare
a sure sign the devils there.

trying to get you in his trap
tormenting you so you will snap.

so he can have his wicked way
and with your mind he will play.

he will use his evil spell
and drag you to his burning hell.

so when your temper begins to flare
just beware the devils there

dissect the flower, analyse its beauty
listen for heartbeat of soul,
they quash the essence through academic duty
and say they've reached their goal

spirit's illusion, it cannot be,
it shows not up on graph or tree
beauty, a fantasy, ape-evolution,
guilt and merit, states of confusion

and so they educate their world-leaders
their politicians and news-readers
their children and their teachers
church-goers and their preachers

the world's an accident, matter of opinion,
as is the lollygagging of cryptic religion,
then they're surprised, feign outrage
as world fills with killing, **** 'n rampage

janus looks not at future or past
he looks at present and is aghast
astonished he looks to right and left
shivering in fright at world bereft

where he looks he sees desolation
the human condition in shreds 'nĀ tatters
the stink of putrid stagnation
as man has forgotten what really matters

future appears worse than the past
past is drenched in blood chloroplast
so forever he looks this 'n that way
unable to in present stay

raucous music fills the air
loud images shout
jarring sounds of "i don't care"
fill the streets about

bromide for the masses
dulls enfeebled senses
as the Jews in gases
abandoning defences

breathing **** and lewd for food
***** for the multitude
constant noise blocks out dispute
till you're lying destitute

he watched the tea in rapture
as the milk in swirling spiral
as the curling column'd vapour
fought in vain for its survival

wraiths numinous dissipate
could not would not participate
in wretched game o' nature's abuse
placing world in hanging-noose

so he downed the tea
spirit long gone
as Zyklon-B
couldn't hang on

now nothing's left
of brown micturition
passed through gill-cleft
in natural tradition

gigantic he stood, preening in mirror,
his head in the sky, his feet in the river,
a form to behold, inspiring awe
as he looked up and down and liked what he saw

his shadow he spread over lesser folks lore
and pounded the earth with nails and claw,
crushed in his fists the misfit and freak
as he beat his chest in pride and pique

excretion abounded as he soaked in the treasures
of earth and sky his newfound pleasures
secreting his waste over all and sundry
for he owned the earth, the hills and country

but made of clay, the water seeped upward,
as he unawares, with self enraptured,
allowed slow invasion of self-centred structure
till he crumbled and fell, his inners ruptured

and as he fell, he continued to spout
sound-bite bromides of what life's about
till at last his tongue fell out
and nothing was left of his prestige 'n clout
