Flatfielder Dec 2020
Come lay beside me
Touch my quivering skin
Let's be one in a moment
Remembering our next of kin
They are safe
We have peace
Meeting again
We will survive
In our enclosure
We dance the freedoms' chive

Understanding freedom
Flatfielder Dec 2020
Yes thats what we will do
Daylights embrace us
The morning sun
Shall warm our foreheads
We stretch
We need a moan
A release of our tensions
We love
It's us
We are home

Longer days, shorter nights

In the picture
This old black and white
Had missed the lecture
Of being pointy no fright
Outraged in a moment
Wrong words the offensive
People move sideways
Their eyes evasive
Remaining ..
Their sillhouette
I retract
My heart seems to blush
All i am looking for now
The comfort of my shed
December blues
Flatfielder Dec 2020
Down in the cellar?
Look up
towards the stairwells' light

Inspired
By a fellow poet just now
Flatfielder Dec 2020
Felt as if I was in the barrens
No Horizons with a setting sun
No trees giving shade
No mindless fun
Tried to reach out
No responses everywhere
Where was I all this time
Didn't catch realities diverse
Now I woke
The barrens have left my soul
I feel free
There are no doubts
Welcoming challenges are on their way

Have you been there?
Flatfielder Dec 2020
Felt as if I was in the barrens
No Horizons with a setting sun
No trees giving shade
No mindless fun
Tried to reach out
No responses everywhere
Where was I all this time
Didn't catch realities' diverse
Now I woke
The barrens have left my soul
I feel free
There are no doubts
Welcoming challenges are on their way
Dark and light

Romance fizzles
Acts still alive
Alive as well as always
Giving high fives
