She said she was an untamed storm,
—a lost soul in an unending whirlwind.
Or maybe a mess.
Broken. Shattered. Falling.

She said she was a curse,
—a throb that would never let go.
Or maybe a sting.
A bite. A wound. A burn.

You tremble, you fear that
I’ll give up because
you are a chaos, and eventually
I can see that in you.

But then in a flick of my lips, I always knew.

Though my bones will crumble in pain,
I’ll embrace that storm in you.

Though my soul will bleed and cry,
I’ll kiss that curse goodbye.

Warm. Sweet. Gentle.
I always see you beautiful after the storm;
Tranquil after the pain.
And more than perfect
in my arms.
you tried to feed
me stardust
sway and hold me
as we danced

you tried to make a home
out of me
open my shutters
let the light
flood inside
push sheer magenta
curtains aside

you tried to run
your fingers reverently
over my rosewood

you tried to ***** my home
raise it from the island
kiss my lips after broken
storms hold my hands in your own convince me that you  replaced my old
broken doors
peeling paint and vinyl siding

you tried to
feed me stardust
sway and hold me
as we danced

you tried to make
a home out of me
but I was really an island
ready to be claimed
by the fire and the sea

It's a morning for pages
pages and pages
droplets of coffee stained
jam thumbprints in the margin

It's a morning for pages
pen gliding across paper
ideas streaming from
no mind just a reflex

A morning for pages
fill them up with words
wondrous words of mischief and meaning
words of wonder and regret

It's a morning for pages
time to waste paper basket
the debris that clouds the brain
time to remedy what remains

A morning for pages
running the pen dry
reckoning of soul
making way for the rest of this day

Robo Poet always wins the contest
tickling your fancy with that perfect rhyme scheme
scanning your psyche for metaphor
writing three poems at once

Robo Poet knows what you want
posts at the perfect time
writes while you're sleeping
sleeps only in your dream

Robo Poet doesn't care
Love poem? if that's what you want baby
****** in every stanza
sapphire eyes shining brighter

You can always depend on Robo Poet
he's inside you feels your pain
he's got the rhythm he's got the beat of your heart
drop your pen, let him write
Just having a little fun

A simple touch,
An innocent hug,
I'm trying to rein my feelings,
Please make it worth.

Twinkling eyes,
Goofy smile,
Don't be that sweet ,
It's getting harder to hide.

You're touchy feely,
Please take it easy,
You've got no idea
what's going on inside,
This head of mine.

You're all over the place,
I'm trying to keep inside,
Please behave until ,
You are ready to be mine.

With stolen moments, I could get lost in you,
with the ease of walking into a silent room.
Everything in the world fading away,
when I feel your lips on mine and what it conveys.
A kiss, a smile, your touch on my face
a treasured sight, this secret place,
where we connect and share our art,
tenderly sharing bleeding hearts.
