I hear the sweet songs of the birds deep into my heart
The sweet fragrant smell of the rain rejuvenates my soul
The beautiful flowers blooming reawakens my mind
The warmth of the sun brings my body back to life
Spring has come oh so lovingly

Fear not to embrace
all these losses,
the disconnection is but an illusion.
Love is the Highway we travel,
we all move on in the end.
Love is eternal my friends!!

God, let me wake up
With her fingers in my hair,
Her breath dancing on my skin,
Her eyes flickering like sunbeams,
Burning through my skull.

God, let me wake up
With her presence lingering,
Her voice tying knots through mine,
Our skin flush to one another,
Melting together and welding our souls.

God, let me wake up
With the scent of her perfume,
Her rings on my nightstand,
Blonde strands on each pillow,
Like threads keeping us bound.

God, let me wake up with her heart,
And lay me to rest with her soul.
Hi 🤍
With your hand in mine
I no longer fear the fall

I embrace the climb.

i used to remember your laugh like it was yesterday
so visceral and clear
it hurt so much to know what I had lost

now your laugh is a memory of a memory
distorting the harder I try to recall
shouldn’t it hurt less—
to forget what I once held dear?

the suffocating sorrow of a clear memory
and
the desperate grasping at the light i thought would never fade

only a laugh so lovely, could cause this kind of pain
At this very moment
The past no longer exist
What ever happens in the future
My will will not resist

It’s not that I can’t remember
It’s just easier to forget
And leave the ghost behind me
And the shadows of regret
