on tiring eyes unclosed
fills as sight of flowers
this night silent and lone

this one beast of moon
which peeks into her being
with its swerve-less tune
through sky twirling be seen

blossoms her soul of life

be melt into twilight

yet know in heart does she
hears drama of a sky
in arms of cypress trees

this tranquil town hillside
on bluish giddy slopes
on this cold starry night
she wraps herself with hope

encircled by the dawn
like an oyster shell
hear stories that go on
in tales travelers tell

of secrets which she hides
in gloom of the brook
of dreams in which resides
a hazy phantom look

yet roads which she's taken
all paths which unfold
like pools which lilies fathom
in sorrows untold

though her heart does know
no one does life mourn
when world closes its doors
she shall be reborn

this special summer's day
may joys fly with your zeal
in domain of your heart
may tranquil havens be

like fallen autumn leaves
just shut your eyes and see
to dance away all night
lean into ecstasy

for beauty is no trance
and never shall it be
its not a song you'd hear
or picture you could see

be your friend may soul
murmurs of His being
guide you in darkest nights
and sail the toughest seas

may words which hide the pain
flow freely from your speech
for in the book of life
does time no secrets keep

but may it delve in soul
unveil its holy seed
to be a truth in which
gazes eternity

for in the mirror of love
our world shall itself see
you'll search yourself in all

in gleaming starry night
believe in tranquil dreams
fly through prussian clouds

when clear blue rivers chime
by sleepy forest trees
