Someone asked me where home was for me,
I paused, I didn't know how to answer without saying it was you
you're my home
now I feel really alone
Kinda empty inside
And that feeling won't ever go away
Your arms are my home.
Lightning strikes twice,
Without rolling the dice,
And you pay the price.

It happened so fast,
A traumatic blast,
Causing overcast.

In the mist of rain,
Sparking pain,
Forcing a bloodstain.

At the end of the line,
Hope can shine,
Fighting for cloud nine.

Body gaining strength
Eloquent and bare in stance
Focus seems to leap

The Dybbuk
I'm a foreigner,
In the land I was born to...
So this is real pain.
Córdoba.
Far away, and lonely.

Full moon, black pony,
olives against my saddle.
Though I know all the roadways
i'll never get to Córdoba.

Through the breezes, through the valley,
red moon, black pony.
Death is looking at me
from the towers of Córdoba.

Ay, how long the road is!
Ay, my brave pony!
Ay, death is waiting for me,
before I get to Córdoba.

Córdoba.
Far away, and lonely.

"You're the only woman I've ever loved"

I knew I was due a heartbreak.
There's a quiet murmuration
Of figments of my imagination
Dreams and broken notions
Feelings and emotions
Swirling and rearranging
Into ever-changing shapes in my mind

There are absent gods and howling dogs
And the broken backs of the poor
While jugglers perform tricks with wealth
As nobody seems to care anymore
Amidst marching boots as children shoot
And hope lies dead on the floor

There seems to be a ghost somewhere
Wandering high in purple mountains
And low in deep green valleys
And this roaming soul may well be
A kind of long lost truth
Inside my hidden mind
